I guess there was no way to do it because the phone has not been activated for a long time with TMobile. Their phones are compatible withMetro as long as the phone is unlocked. I guess I saved a dinosaur of a phone its already absolete!! She did a good job trying and finally told us to try Metro PCS. We will get rid of our Metro phones as soon as Verizon reopens. We have to use them on WiFi when we are home anyway so no loss!! The metro ordeal was another story! Horrible! We would go to TMobile but we would be in the same position. Its a shame TMobile don't work where we live we would have changed over that day!;

I went in to pay my bill (patrial cash payment) and was told i was REQUIRED to have my ID. Ive paid in store without it prior so I did question this and was told I need my ID or they wont help me. Therefore, I went out to get my ID and when I came back in I noticed nobody was wearing nametags. When I asked why nobody wears nametags, as every tmobile ive ever been in everyone wears one, the helpful gentleman Brandon told me his name while the manager, Jarita who was being rude prior refused to tell me her name. I actually had to call another location and inform them of my experience and ask what the managers name of this location was to be properly informed. She also told me because I previously applied and was not selected that I dont know anything and I can leave the store without being helped. I am very concerned and confused by this behavior and it was a terrible experience. I know tmobile can do better but if this is the new standard for customer service I dont believe I will remain with the company.

My tablet screen was broken and Jeff offered to repair/replace it, but had never done it before on that particular item and wouldn't guarantee the work. I took my chances with him and he did an excellent job. It is now many years later (2024) and I've had to move to a retirement village where we have an IT department which takes care of most of our IT needs. Unfortunately my old, 5SE iPhone which I need because of manual dexterity problems, couldn't be repaired by the new, young tech and ended up in worse shape than before. The floating Home button cannot be eliminated, the regular Home button which had been difficult to push is permanently stuck. It is now Friday evening and I'll have to wait until Monday to somehow get the phone down to Peak Wireless and have Jeff and his crew work their magic on it.
