He was really nice. We felt like we were in good hands. Well, spring came and it was time to bring the new awning and set it up. Not happy at all the awning was not remade well. The sides were supposed to have grommets that there are hooks on our siding to hook into. It is so short that they attached the sides with zip ties. That is not how it is supposed to be. My husband watched as they struggled to stretch it accross the rails because it lands short. One panel is so tight and it is not supposed to be. We called and asked the salesman to come out and look at it. He was so rude this time basiclally told us to bad he wasn't going to fix it. I've been a customer of theirs for years and due to a number late, albeit paid (with late fee…read moreincluded) payments, they decided to end their service to my house. No warning, no discussion. Last year, prior to putting my Awning up, they would not release it until I paid $260 for alleged repair with " new stitching" that they say was not available when they made the awning. this was also a nonnegotiable. There was no evidence (such as leaking or fraying) that it needed to be done, but I could not get the Awning put up unless I agreed to it. There have been numerous other small problems over the years as well. I guess they have enough business to cut customers off with no discussion. It would be helpful to customers if their billing process was easier and they offered automated payments. It seems a business practice of ending business relationships with no discussion will only last so long. I would say stay clear of Custom Covers & Canvas!
