I've had a genuinely positive experience working with Tamika Lewis as a therapist. When I'm able to meet with her, I feel heard, supported, and like my needs are actually being met. That consistency and care means a lot to me. Unfortunately, my experience with the therapy company overall has been very different. There have been repeated issues with communication, follow-through, and broken promises that have negatively impacted my mental health. As someone managing anxiety and PTSD, consistency and honesty are not optional, they are essential. I was explicitly told that I would be able to return to my original therapist after her maternity leave. Even the temporary therapist reassured me of this. Now, I'm being told something completely different, as if those conversations never happened. I have documentation of what was said, which makes this even more frustrating and invalidating. This kind of inconsistency and lack of accountability is not just inconvenient, it's harmful. It creates unnecessary stress and undermines trust in a space that's supposed to feel safe and supportive. At this point, it feels like the practice prioritizes operations and profit over patient care. I truly hope they take a closer look at how these situations are handled, because clients deserve transparency, follow-through, and respect--especially when it comes to their mental health. read more

She's warm but direct, and I feel both supported and challenged in ways that actually stick. If you are a woman of color and considering psychotherapy, please consider WOC Therapy. I've been with my therapist Candace for the past two years and she has been great and very easy to talk to. I usually do my visits virtually, but I would definitely recommend visiting their actual location that is in a house with a very nice yard. They also offer yoga, meet ups, exercise sessions and also have connections with retreats that take place out of the city. I've recommended some of my friends and family to this practice as well and they've had great results too. read more

Not recommended for Telehealth patients. I had two therapists leave suddenly not even 5 sessions in (and I'm talking a day or less notice.) I also did not feel they communicated with me efficiently or regularly to try to remedy the situation. Reiki services with Angelica was absolutely worth it! She is the real deal. I was a bit of a skeptic of Reiki services but she proved that a good practitioner can really help you move stuck old energy in your body. The room was so beautiful and the essential oils were such a nice touch. I felt safe and cared for with her. She spoke with me first and validated my experiences and even offered insights that surprised me in a good way. She is gentle and a real gifted healer! I was looking for someone for my biracial daughter to speak to as being as though she has a white single mother and a father with substance abuse issues. There are some issues that my teen experiences that I felt necessary for her to speak to a professional and so I reached out to Tamika and she thoughtfully paired us with Cassandra who my daughter felt so comfortable speaking to.. Cassandra kept it light and helped redirect, some of my daughters insecurities with humor and with love and with openness. Tamika took me on as a client at the height of the pandemic.
