Phil is the best - both earnest and extremely helpful in finding the car that worked best for me. Any time I pop in for maintenance, he always pop in & make sure I'm taken well care of. Andy and the service team are top notch, I feel like I'm at Cheers where they know my name. Andy recognizes me when I walk in and is both extremely organized and communicative. I enjoy their stunning and calming waiting room, I sometimes prefer to use that over their concierge option. Any service they make includes a video summary that is concise and informative. I'm going with Genesis exclusively from here, especially with this location.

But this time with my 2002 Convertible Saab he did magic. I had quotes from other places that were trying to charge me out the Ying yang. He fixed my convertible top, when the quotes from other shops were 3000 and more. He was by far honest and more reasonable. He also found electrical issues that he fixed. We were told by the shop that it needed a simple oil sensor replacement which they did. As soon as we left the shop and drove just a mile the engine began to tremble and the car is now making a horrible squealing noise. We immediately brought the car back to them. They began looking at the car again and told us that the car had little to no oil in it and they they didn't touch anything except for the sensor. Immediately they were defensive. How does the car come back in worse condition is my question. I truly feel like we flushed money down the toilet and now we are having to have our vehicle towed to the dealership. Thanks for nothing. Can't trust them at all. Additional response: No we were not informed of there being no oil to begin with. What kind of repair shop would receive a vehicle with no oil, tell the customer there's no oil and miss a perfect opportunity to up sell for an oil change and then return said vehicle with no oil for the customer to drive off? I know if they modernize they'll have to raise prices. The bad part is they're sitting on some very valuable real estate. I'm sure they'll be forced out by higher taxes. So look for them to be gone soon. In the meantime get your tires patched for $10. We need this business. With all the construction going on around here I've become a frequent flyer.

He said it was the catalyst converter. Later at home notice the oil filter was the same one I had installed. Check the oil and it was very dirty. Took car to another shop and found out the timing chain was not replaced. They said nothing was done to the car. Wasted money with this shade tree mechanic. They never answer the phone or return messages. That should have been the first sign that he was not professional. Would not return my money for doing nothing to my car.

They are professional quick and explain exactly what needs to be done to your car. They make recommendations for the future maintenance needs and are nice people. These guys worked for years down South at Austin VW until deciding to open an independent shop - so their knowledge and expertise is top-notch. I had my 140,000 mile maintenance done - they explained everything well and removed the charges for the services I didn't need. I also had all my glowplugs replaced and a brake light switch fixed which they both did for much less than another shop had quoted me. I dropped my car off and Nick offered to give me a ride to my office a few miles away which was a better option. The work was done very well and was finished the same day - actually slightly faster than they told me. The reason I found to give them four stars is that the shop is a little difficult to find because they don't have a proper sign yet. If you're having someone pick you up who is bad with directions, they might have a bit of trouble. Otherwise I fully recommend these folks!
