MAKE-UP: Being in the entertainment business myself, I am thrilled to discover their "HD Make-Up Line," which is specifically developed to look fabulous...even on HDTV. This cosmetic company is the official sponsor of the TV SHOW, "FACE OFF" (SYFY network), and also supply make-up to "NAKED IN VEGAS"...Yes, that is their body paint used on the show. STAFF: Kryolan makeup is 3rd generation family owned, and the staff was highly educated about their products. Definitely stop by their Back Bay Boston, and ask questions of their sales staff and make-up artist, as they have a wide variety of cosmetics for an array of applications. THE DEAL: All pigments are made from natural sources, whenever possible, and their makeup is "food grade quality." So, some *say* their products are "good enough to eat." Most Kryolan body paint actually *is* safe for skin absorption. In addition, a majority of their make-up is MADE IN THE USA!

Most places, including MAC, Sephora and even CVS will allow you to return or exchange a cosmetics product if you aren't completely satisfied-- especially when the lighting in the store isn't the same as natural light. I checked their policy online (which does outline an exchange policy) and attempted to exchange a palette for one that has a better matching/ more complementing color range, but they wouldn't let me. Perhaps, they need to make sure they tell their customers that there is no satisfaction guarantee. I walked out pissed and doubt I'll be back to here. :-/

This store is stunning. It's bright, beautiful and has great vibes to it. Everything is delicately placed so prettily. There's candles, spell books, tarot cards and decor. It's literally the perfect go to place for all your magical needs. It was hard not to buy all the little spell books. They were so dainty and with spells for prosperity, why would you not want that? I did buy a small spell book, a post card and several incense match books. My friends are going to love them! The two gals working today were lovely! So sweet and kind. I'm happy we made our first stop here. This store is a must shop at if you're here.

This place used to have quite a variety of Gothic fashions for men and women in here and I have found it to be incredibly minuscule. Other than the shoe section, I have never seen so many shirts that represents Salem in the store and barely anything else. I would come in here and find a ton of horror. Movie shorts, funny shirts, nice dresses and tops for women and etc.. Needless to say I was not impressed. I would hope that things are going to change when it gets closer to the October season, but they used to have things like this all year round which is very disappointing that they did not have the things I was looking for during my visit again.

I love going here to find Asian goodies that you typically wouldn't find nearby. Here, you can find some KBeauty, Japanese snacks, cute stuffed animals, Asian makeup products, kitchenware, hair products, little knick knacks, and more! I personally love getting beauty products, snacks, and stuffies from here. I think prices are fair for their items since they're not sold at any other stores around here and if you order them online, expect to wait a couple weeks to receive. So, I don't mind their prices because of this.

But on my way out. I saw there was a line outside and a staff member hosting the line. I guess they limit the amount of patrons they want inside the store at time? There is a lot of magical and mystical things to look at and see in here. Some are props from movies just to view, theres a throne like chair where you can sit down and take a pic. Plus there are tons of items for sale from jewelry, to candles etc . I liked seeing all the Harry Potter stuff since I am a major fan. The lightning in the store is dark and moody very fitting for the town. There are lots of staff walking around to help. Enjoy!
