It is a tribute to one of the owners and her battle with cancer. The inside is decorated spooky with tons of orange and black everywhere - I wanted to stay here forever. They even had a life size statue of Edgar Allen Poe. They offer a ton of merchandise from apparel to mugs to even stickers and magnets. Everything is pricy as you would expect, but you can only get their items in store so I think it is worth it if you're looking for something unique. BlackCraft Cult also does a haunted house on the weekends during the Halloween season with live scare actors - you can tour it during the week too, but they do not have the actors then. I had just bought a pair of leopard print gloves at the PEM so I put those on along with my hat and I knew it was way too gaudy... my husband said it looked great together but the store owner came over and agreed with me.. in a pleasant way. She suggested some gloves that she carries but not in a pushy way at all. I did splurge and buy the hat. The store exudes goth ambiance with soft lighting to highlight clothing and great music. I wish I knew the woman's name who helped my daughter put together outfits. They carry brands that also supply plus sizes. I was able to find things to try on in store and try on. I don't often get that option. I really wish I had more time to look through their stuff. Another thing that I adore about their storefront, some of their items are also local. I bought two books from local writers. They also have local clothing brands and I just adore this. The people who worked here were so friendly and helpful. I bought myself a lovely red duster. They knew their product well and was able to help me no issue. Items in this store are on the higher end, but its a small price to pay to be able to try on the clothes in store. That is just not something you can get online. I got a very unique ring and floral scarf while I was here, and my friend from Italy found some cool souvenirs to bring back with her.
