CONSUMER BEWARE I hired Daniel Talbert to handle…read moreolder, traffic tickets for me on July 20 2017. I only spoke with his assistant, Heather Bryant that day. She collected $100 to reserve my case. After many calls and several emails (I live out of state or I would've just went to the office), a month passed before Daniel Talbert finally emailed me to mention I had tickets in another county that I should handle first which would require me hiring a lawyer in that area. So, I take care of that. That lawyer in particular took care of those 4 tickets in ONE WEEK. On August 22, I email Heather Bryant stating I'd like a refund since my new lawyer was just going to handle the case now. Two days later (over a month of still not actually speaking to Talbert), Daniel Talbert calls me once he hears I want a refund of my initial $100. The one and only time we've spoke via telephone. He carries on about how my previous tickets needed to be handled, he will take action once those are handled. He says Rutherford is small and I need a lawyer like him who "knows the judges". The new lawyer let me know that he could also handle the Rutherford ticket that Daniel Talbert still has not handled. So, I decide to let the obviously more proactive lawyer handle my whole situation at this point. Side note: New lawyer has to drive an hour and a half out of his way and his price remained the same. I contact Daniel Talbert's office asking for my refund again. I definitely need it at this point with all the money I've had to spend on this situation. Daniel Talbert emails me "Natalie: The $100 you paid would not be refundable since that is the consultation fee on criminal matters. If you would have retained on your cases, this would have applied toward fees but you evidently Mr. Roseman will be able to handle that as well. If your situation changes and you need our help in Ruth.Co., let us know. I wish you the best. --D.Talbert I contacted Talbert after that response in shock that this was actually happening. No response. From anyone. I feel completely taken advantage of, especially since I live in California. Daniel Talbert offered no resolution and took $100 from me. BEWARE! ZERO STARS

All thouse involved especially those in high seats AND the ones he has to go up against Roll their eyes and say to themselves. Great, it's this guy again. That is a hard thing to do. But for him, it comes naturally and puts everybody on notice that he has to deal with that day. And what it says to everybody. Im not there to play. When I first saw this man, he walked into the room, and everybody involved, there went automatically into high level of discomfort. And it was very noticeable, and I was watching everybody, and I said to myself, this is the man that's going to represent my daughter in a false criminal case, which we all knew that she was not guilty of. He is going to be the one to show everybody that she is innocent. And he got her off. All parties got 6 months, no, contact, "" I don't know if he knows or didn't know but "THAT WAS A BLESSING!" He hasn't spent 1 (one) day in court over the matter to earn a dime of that $25,000. We've been calling him weekly for well over 3 months to discuss the case and what the plan is. We get as far as the receptionist, who claims he's always in court. Yes, even during a pandemic when the court calendars have been at a reduced capacity, he's ALWAYS there. We've even sent emails to which he won't respond. I'm thinking these folks are completely incapable of doing the job they claim to be professionals at. I wouldn't recommend this group at all.
