This is my first priority in selecting a contractor. His initial response via Yelp (amongst 5 other contractors) was quick and he was able to provide an in-home estimate at a time convenient for me. Sunny kept me informed of the plans throughout the process. Customer Service: This family was professional and courteous. While not every project is perfect, this team strived for it and quickly resolved any issues that were encountered. Quality: The quality of the paint job was excellent. Floors and fixtures were protected with painter plastic and tape throughout the home. If I could give zero stars, I would…read more We hired Center Point in January 2022 to redo our master bathroom, and from start to finish (and even years later), it has been a nightmare. We signed the contract with a promised start date within 8-10 weeks. Work didn't actually begin until the end of June--a full six months later--and only after I repeatedly called and nagged them. When work finally began, we were promised a 2-3 week turnaround. Instead, it dragged on for over 3 months, not because of the talented worker they sent, Luke (who was wonderful and did his best), but because he was left completely alone to handle a full master bath remodel with no crew, while also juggling other jobs. We were upcharged $10,000 for a steam shower--something we were happy to pay for at the time--but the steam shower has broken three times in just the past year. Every time we've called, they've refused to help, despite their "full warranty guarantee" that was part of the contract. Their excuse? "We didn't manufacture it." If that's the case, why did they guarantee it in the first place? To make matters worse, about two weeks into the job, the owner, Sean Smith, called me and demanded more money for the glass because they had misquoted it, threatening that if we didn't pay, their company might shut down and we'd be left with no support if anything broke in the future. We reluctantly paid, only to find out later that they never sent the money to the subcontracted glass company, which resulted in a lien being filed against our house. And the problems didn't stop there. Most of the fixtures they installed have since broken or malfunctioned. My husband is constantly fixing things that should have lasted for years. Clearly, they use cheap, low-quality materials. We are now nearly three years out, and it's clear this company has no intention of honoring their warranty or standing behind their work. I wouldn't trust them to build a birdhouse, let alone a bathroom. Do yourself a favor: stay far, far away from Center Point.
