Had a cold call water test, said they had alot of calls for water testing in the area and wondered if we would like one as well. We have a water softener from a different company. He tested my kitchen sink water and our RO system water and said we were getting nitrates from both faucets. Today my guy from my current softener company came out and tested our water NO nitrates at all from either faucet. This test was run not with drips and sticks it was run on sophisticated digital equipment. NO nitrates. Then he ran a test of the raw water it was hard yes but NO nitrates. i hope I can raise this rating in time , but at this point feel taken advantage of. I am 67, and I thought I did my homework. Brandon is a very good sales person. i bought the Ironbreaker Blueline Model 7000. $4,000 i was told a team would install. One person came. He said he connected directly to septic line. He connected to a small sub pump. My basement flooded. I spent 2 hours sucking up water. When I called, i was told a team was on their way. 4 hrs later one person came and reconnected it properly. No-one followed up about water damage, or I having to clean up a huge mess. i deserved a rebate of some kind. A Team means more than one!!!! This sales person knew I had problems with previous contractors, and I got sucked in again. read more

Not only did they scam my Aunt who has early stages of dementia out of THOUSANDS of dollars, they then accused my mother of trying to steal her money when she called them out for scamming her. High pressure sales and promises costed me close to $5,000 5 yrs ago, then when I called to see if they would do a check, they claimed I needed still another tank for lead or something in my water. It cost me another $4,900 to get that. But they swore that would fix the pepper like sunstance coming out of my faucet. I called them back out 3 different times, Once they said they adjusted the tank, second time they bleached my lines , third time they claimed they emptied my hot water heater..... which they did not. The last time they were out , they said I had galvanized pipes and I would have to call in a plumber. So thousands of dollars later, I still have the same issue. In the beginning the water treatment system was fine. The smell of the water was fine. Now after paying off the system, the smelly, hard water came back. I have called customer service at least 7 times and the employees say, "I'll have someone call you back or 1 employee told me someone will be out that way on Thursday. Nobody called or came out. They came out to inspect my water. It had a very strong sulfer smell in the hot water. He tried to sell me a new water system for $4,280. He called his boss and the price came down to $3,980. In 2016 they put in a water system for $4,100. It worked good. I said put it in. After thinking about it I called them and said put it on hold. I talked to a friend and he told me it was probably my water heater. I got on my computer.They said to turn my heat on my water heat from 120 to 160 degrees for 2 hours or all night and it would kill all the bacteria in the tank and the bad smell. it worked. $3,980 saved. Wolverine Water Treatment employees are sneaky and crooked. Not only do they prey on vulnerable senior citizens they make false claims about their systems failing and convince them to buy a new system not taking into account the person's financial status. My parent's system was working fine with no complaints just days prior until a representative stopped over and inspected their system claiming that it was no longer working properly and needed to be replaced. They used every line in the book to state their claim and even told my parents that it wouldn't be long before they would start having problems with their washing machine and hot water heater if they didn't upgrade their old system. Pressure selling tactics should be outlawed and companies should be ashamed of taking advantage of senior citizens. If their products are so great why do they keep failing and need replacing? They can't make money off of people whose systems are functioning properly. Angry Daughter whose parents were duped!! Parents are still paying on this system nearly 4 years later!! A man came to my door and said his company was doing free water analysis and he named all the things they test for. He had me thinking it was with the State of Michigan. He asked for my info and when it was time to schedule, he wanted my husband to be there also. That raised a red flag to me. I googled the name on his vehicle and it was Wolverine Pure. we have used Wolverine for 35 years! The water at our house is terrible. Now our water is excellent!!! Plus they gave us seven years of Laundry soap, shampoo, dish soap, hand soap, body soap, household cleaners and more. They have always treated us right!!! They delivered up until the pandemic. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE We purchased a water conditioning system from this company and it was installed on May 1 of this year. The cost was almost $4,000. We had been told by the salesman that there would be a 5 year supply of cleaning products delivered to our door. When, after several weeks, there was no delivery, I contacted the East Lansing office and was told by the female who answered the phone that she would "check on it". I called repeatedly until the end of July, talking to the receptionist repeatedly and leaving messages on the voice mail of the office manager whose recording assured she would return the call. She never did. When I asked the receptionist for the phone number for the owner, Paul Mahaney, she insisted she had no way of contacting him. I finally sent him a long letter with complete information and dates and informed him I was prepared to make a complaint to the Better Buisiness Bureau but I wanted to give him the chance to explain why I had been treated so poorly. He never responded! So, I think that explains a lot as to why his staff doesn't care aboout customer service. I even sent two letters, one to his East Lansing office and one to his Lowell office to make sure he got the letter. We purchased this system without checking out the cost of similar systems because we had one installed by them about 20 years ago and thought that they were a good company. I feel compelled to write. I ordered a reverse osmosis water for drinking water and instant hot system for tea. Wolverine took a customer first approach throughout. The instant hot variable caused unique challenges. It took three visits for the system to work correctly. I was NEVER charged extra for the visits. Three weeks ago I called Wolverine Water Treatment Systems Lowell office to order salt for system and was told that I would be contacted within 3-5 days by service department which never happened. I still have not heard from them to set up delivery of salt for system and am totaly out of salt. I was told at time of purchase that I had to use their salt or any warranties would be null and void. i really dislike companies that make promoses and don't follow through after they make a sale I feel as though they are out to bilk customers read more
