(Also, found out they do fundraisers and so churches and other companies can host them and they'll donate to your cause.) I went for the conceal carry class because someone didn't keep track of when paperwork expires and had to take the class over.. but, this was an amazing class, way better than the first one I took. The best thing about it was the fact I felt it combined instructional time by shooting 100 rounds when you only need 30 rounds for the actual qualifier. I haven't seen a more patient instructor able to adapt to all skill levels and able to give the corrections to grip/stance/etc in the way the individual needs to hear it. This is definitely worth the quick trip from Charlotte and one of the most cost effective classes I've taken.

They also have enough insight to recognize that students arrive with widely varying skill levels and prior exposure. Their blocks of instruction are thoughtfully sequenced and clearly articulated, allowing trainees to absorb complex material at a manageable pace while progressively building confidence. Although some of the curriculum set forth by PPSB is a bit cumbersome, they organized the content to fit within the three-day format. The standard is the standard and no shortcuts or "gimmies" are given, but even novice shooters can achieve it by paying attention and applying the principles.
