She is unbelievably easy to talk to and has a fantastic sense of humor. She even made my husband feel comfortable. She answered all of our ridiculous questions, that I'm sure she's answered a thousand times before, but never made us feel that way. I felt like I had known her for years the way I felt so comfortable with her. Sadly though, I just saw a note in the office today that she is leaving the practice to go to North Shore (I think). I came to Island OB for an emergency appointment. The staff accommodated me immediately. They were friendly and thorough. Dr Neuman was completely professional, empathetic, put me immediately at ease. Every time I've had to make an appointment or come for routine care, I always receive the best treatment from the front desk, the RNs, the Drs are always personable, accommodating and never make me feel rushed.

They have a terrible way to communicate with patient, they use app called Klara, not good at all. You never see any of your test results online. Then if you need anything like a Tdap shot you need to go somewhere else, if you need to do a glucose test you need to go somewhere else. I had a medical issue and I told them I need medication, they send me medication over the counter when I told them that I have used that already and it didn't work. Then I was told that I need to get infusion, they have seen my blood work for weeks now and they haven't send me to hematology they waited last minute and guess what I would have to go to a different facility. This is where things go left, they can't see anything on their end due to different institutions, which is why it's best to stick to somewhere that has everything you need. Which is way I decide to move my care at 33 weeks of pregnancy to nyu.
