I would give this company negative stars if possible. Billing me for tests I never approved and then impossible to contact to remedy. The worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. You can rest assured that I will under no circumstances ever use this company again. It's really a shame because my doctor was lovely and would have liked to continue seeing her. November 5th I spoke to a representative who promised that she would speak to a supervisor and call me back. Never heard from her again. Got another bill in the mail so I figured that maybe she forgot to follow up with me, but it was remedied. No, it was just threatening me with collections. December 23rd I spoke with a different representative who promised me that she would have her superiors look at it and reach out to me no later than that Tuesday (December 29th). Never heard from her again. January 4th I called back and left a message. Today (January 6th) I still have not heard back but I did get a pre-recorded message that I have a new message waiting for me in my patient portal - an account I've never created, so I followed the prompts to be connected to a representative. The representative said that his system was down so he can't help me, and he recommends that I call the main number (you mean the number I have been calling for the last two months where nobody returns my calls or is at all helpful?). I asked him for his name and what department he works in for my records so that when I finally get in touch with someone and they tell me to contact department XYZ to get my login credentials that I never created, I can tell them that I've already tried. The representative spoke over me, wouldn't give me any information, and then hung up on me. I immediately called the main number, as suggested before being rudely hung up on, and of course, nobody answered. I left another message but I'm not holding my breath. The level of absolute disregard for their patients is astounding. You would think that it wouldn't be so hard to get in touch with someone that you are trying to give money to. read more

Horrible, horrible practice. You can never talk to anyone here. You call and leave a message and maybe they'll return it in a few days. Often, they do not. I used their portal - they ignored messages on that. I rescheduled an appointment online (which you can't even do - you can leave suggested times and they'll get back to you), went through the entire process and now they're trying to tell me i still have the original appointment?! No one wants to help you. They actually make you feel bad for conditions you're experiencing, like it's your fault and withhold simple medication like it's a narcotic. Worst pap smear experience of my life - hurt like hell. Absolutely hate that Women's Care seems to have a monopoly on OB-GYN care in this area. read more

I asked for a vaccinated health care provider assigned for my appointment and they responded that they could not disclose it because it was personal. As a policy, they should allow patients to make the choice if they would like to be exposed to an unvaccinated staff person rather than hide the truth. With the advent of the Covid 19 Omicron variant which is highly transmissible and the fact that most of their patients may be pregnant or immuno-compromised, you would think they would make accommodations to patients requesting a vaccinated staff person. When I found out about my pregnancy, I called bunch of places to get ob-gyn appointment. Most of those places didn't even answer my call and few of them made me stay on hold forever. But when I reached out to Women's care Brandon branch, they answered my call immediately and scheduled appointment. Starting from their front desk, to their doctors and nurses, Everyone is very professional and helpful. I love the fact that they are always available for their patients. During my 37 week appointment, I found out that I had to get a C-section done because of baby position. Doctors here were very supportive and helped me with the surgery, they answered all my questions and concerns. Doctor Amoroso performed the surgery on me and we have our healthy baby boy now. Special thanks to Dr.Amoroso. I'm glad that I decided to choose Women's care for my prenatal care and surgery. read more

I am 28 weeks pregnant with recently diagnosed gestational diabetes and Women's Care FL has left me with absolutely NO prenatal care as they don't have any appointments available for the next couple of months, instead of continuing treating me they rather take more and more new patients. So they pretty much told me if I want to continue with them I need to quit my job and drive over 1 hour to my appointments each time, I'm now looking for legal assistance to sue them. I had to write this review just to give a warning! I moved from CA. I was running out of my bioidentical hormone timing, so I went to see Dr. Arnold. I was asking if I can get my hormone treatment, knowing that it's not covered by insurance and I was ready to pay for it. They said that I should do mammogram too, that it will be covered by my CA insurance, because it's preventive and whole visit will be covered. How can I not trust professionals?! Well, it was wrong. They charge you out of pocket for your delivery fees. They had me paying $1,400-$1,900 a visit for my delivery (even though my insurance covers all my appointments and delivery). If you refuse to pay, they will not see you. I was denied my apointment because I couldnt pay my out of pocket $1,600 + amount EACH MONTH. That is ridiculous!!! The doctors were good but the front desk staff is HORRIBLE. The "budget coordinator" or whatever she is is totally MIA. She seems to be always "on vacation" because not once did she email me budget details or sit down with me and explain why i would be charged this much out of pocket each month. The front desk receptionist at the Brandon location told me I had to pay since "I am new to the office" not ONCE did she mention anything about them charging my delivery fees. All they care about is your money, horrible customer service and no one to explain any of this to you. I have reported them and hope something gets done about this because why charge someone so much money per visit when your insurance is already covering it and then DENY you your appointment because you can't afford to pay $1,600 a visit. This is the most horrible patient care center, avoid it at all cost. They NEVER answer the phone and will never give you a call back. They stop refilling your prescriptions for no reason and leave you hanging. Not to mention they will bill you for services you did not ask for, need, or even receive. To begin with, staff was very rude. I called the Delaney office to make a new appt. I used to go in the past to see Dr Fritz, however I stopped going to the office cause I moved out of state for several yes. Now I'm back in Florida again and wanted to establish care with a new OBGyn. After 20min of talking with the secretary which then again already had a bad actitude with me, she tells me that I been dc from the office since I was non compliant with my appt which I never made of course cause I was not in Fl. I have been a patient of theirs for 15 years now. I love the staff and doctors, but there is one huge negative. I am a self-paying patient and pay for my visits at the time of service. However almost every single time (and I go there at least twice a year) they forget to mark me as a self-pay patient and I end up getting bills for large amounts of money from both them and LabCorp, which they use for bloodwork labs. I wasted countless hours calling LabCorp and Woman's care trying to have them correct it. They do, and then next time the same thing happens. I have one of the LabCorp bills again, I called Woman's care and was told they are being told to instruct patients to call LabCorp. I called LabSorp and they told me I need to call Women's care and tell them, and that Women's care should be the one calling them to correct the issue. Over the years I have spoken with several of Women's care office level billing reps, and they all assure me that I will not have those issues anymore, and yet here I am again taking the time out of my already busy day to correct the same problem with their billing that they have had for 15 years!!! It is unbelievable to me that such seemingly sophisticate business cannot train their staff to avoid this simple mistake. read more

Do not go here! Some of the doctors are nice, but the ultrasound tech is cold and rude. She has made me cry on two different occasions because she makes diagnostic comments while performing the ultrasound. When I started crying she kept demanding "what's wrong with you?" "Why are you crying?" In a very hostile tone. Obviously pregnancy hormones increase sensitivity, but she is totally inappropriate. They are not professional. They scheduled me for something then when I came in for it, they told me I couldn't get it. Bad enough I had to pick UP the item and bring it to them. I had to have another test done. Well, I left a message last week for them to call and schedule me, and I did not get a call back, so far as I know. I got ONE unknown call which I missed but no voicemail from them. I was out of state when I realized that I had an issue. Called then, and I tried several times and the office people are either GONE, or they dont answer. The hours are not on the phone correctly and it says that if you leave a message in the last hour it won't be returned until the following day. The recording I have listened to about 4x says to go online. Sure. If they called they never called back. Lazy and unprofessional. The front face of your office needs to be polished. If I could leave zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, this practice is in the unethical, money first business. After a routine OB visit, my doctor told me I had "stage 2 cancer" of my cervix. After follow up visits, to discuss my options with my husband, I wanted a second opinion on whether or not to get a hysterectomy. When I received my records for the second opinion, the office was weird about it, asked me a lot of awkward questions, and after reading the reports, and lab results, I didn't have stage 2 cancer. I had type 2 hyperplasia of my cervix, which is normal in aging. Unfortunately, it seems, this office used the dirtiest of tactics. Using fear and manipulation tactics to coerce me into expensive, invasive, unnecessary medical procedures. I wouldn't wish this practice upon anyone. read more

So this site is horrible. The first time I got my birth control I was told nothing about it and the second year I was told that the depo should only be taken for 2 years because of how it affects your bones. The third year she said oh no its fine as long as you take calcium, just make up your mind already. Now with Covid they won't follow CDC guidelines for people with high risk. If you are at high risk you need a form filled out by a doctor, which I thought they were, but they wont fill out the form. This was after they told me if they could fill out the form they would charge me $25, really???? The CDC guidelines states someone with high BMI is at high risk, but they won't fill the form out because they dont think its high risk (NOT FOLLOWING CDC GUIDELINES!) This was after they sent me to an endocrinologist for what they said was hormones, but what she saw was weight and didn't look at the labs and follow through on why I was there just wanted me to see another specialist for diet. I have receipts and documentation that my 187.11 bill was paid in full, which I shouldn't have paid because the explanation of services is incorrect. But I wanted it to just go away. This was my first experience at the Women's Care facility located at 515 S. Kings Ave in Brandon, Florida. I didn't know what to expect, but I was optimistic. It is suggested that a new patient arrives at least 15 mins early to complete the paperwork. I did just that, but they did not tell me there was going to be an additional 40 min wait. Luckily, when they called my name, I was greeted by a very pleasant, bubbly nurse (Tonya) who I thought set the tone of how well the appointment was going to be. However, my experience with the doctor was the total opposite. Dr. Lauren Davis was my healthcare provider. She showed no signs of trying to form a relationship with me. She was cold and rude. She cut me off while I was trying to explain myself and she was so aggressive during the conversation, I immediately shut down. I could immediately tell she didn't want to be there. I wasn't important to her and she rushed the exam. Even so, I still believe she could have tried to welcome me better than what she did. During the exam, she was rough. I have never experienced such a feeling before. This 2 min process felt like a lifetime. I thought coming to a Women's Care facility, my provider would understand my struggle and at least "TRY" to help and offer "HOPE". I really feel like nothing was accomplished. I left the same way I came in.... Hopeless! I will never come back. She isn't the doctor for me, and I suggest before selecting her as your healthcare provider you don't raise the bar high to be let down like I was. read more

Normally I'm not one to complain, I usually just take it as they are having a bad day and just breathe and move on. My appointment was at 2 - I arrived at 1:40 to start my paperwork. The dr didn't see me till after 3... they apologized and that was that. They didn't run any test, after the dr talked for maybe five minutes they were gonna release me. After requesting some kind of test to guarantee id be safe to leave , they asked the technician to give an exam. The dr comes back and says they couldn't see a difference. Over fours hours for ten minutes of conversation. I'm sure the dr and nurses are amazing people, maybe this was a fluke? I just won't be going back to that location. read more

This practice is awful! I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. While the doctors and nurses were nice enough, communication and billing have been a nightmare! I stopped going there over 6 months ago and I get a new request via mail for co-pays every few weeks. No one answers the phone or email. I once got a hold of someone who asked who gave me their number and basically yelled at me for calling. At my first visit, I overheard them turning away a woman for her 6-week PP appointment because she brought her baby (no one had communicated that she had to come to the appointment alone). I was referred to this practice by my pcp. Love Dr. Grainger, but his office staff is very unorganized and seem confused at times about what they are supposed to be doing. I was scheduled to have a pocedure and I left a new job early to go and when I got there they told me I was supposed to be having labs. I said I received a text advising me I was supposed to have my procedure done today and I just had labs. So I went and had labs done AGAIN. Then I went upstairs to give them my new insurance info, because they said I need to get to the lab before it closed and to come back and they would enter my new insurance. I stood there for about 20 minutes while they put in my insurance. Then I find that a claim was denied so I call them again and give it to them again. Then I talked to the insuance company and they tell me again that the Dr's office still has the wrong info. So I call again and give it to them. Today they call me and advise that they still dont have the info correct. What the heck. I have given it to them 4x. Not only that they are telling me that now I need to call the insurance company again because of course its not on their end. I told them no, you need to call the insurance company this time and discuss it with them. She refuses, so I had to canceled my appointment out of frustration.
