The receptionist and the doctor assistant or the sweetest people who asked all the important questions to make sure that I got the services that I needed. Before my exam I had a consult to get to know Dr. Jazz so that I was more comfortable in the actual exam. I appreciate this a lot and after the exam, I can tell that they wanted to get me all the important meds that I needed. I recommend this place to everybody

Thank you again. Do yourself a huge favor and find another primary care doctor. This place is absolutely terrible. Needed a few simple tests done for my daughter and some paperwork signed. After the tests were complete, they wanted an additional $50 to sign the paperwork. This was after multiple appointments had to be made due to their incompetence and inability to run the tests properly, resulting in having to take time out of my day to return (multiple times) so they could get it done correctly. Then, after all that, and the tests are finally completed, they wanted $50 to sign the paperwork confirming the results of the tests (which was supposed to be part of the follow up). And now as I'm trying to get a hold of someone in the office, I can either speak to their AI "representative" (that cannot help me) or get forwarded to a mailbox that is full and get hung up on. Worst experience ever. Do not recommend. Incompetent and dishonest.

She developed good rapport and I felt safe and understood and cared about. I couldn't imagine a better doctor. She didn't rush the interview. She paid close attention to me and used the computer as an aide to the discussion only. The care was way more in depth than civilian doctors with their 10 minute money making, box checking, agenda-driven, insurance driven care. Thank God for the VA. It is the BEST benefit of serving in the military. The care is amazing compared to community care. Especially the specialty services like GYN, GI, pharm care. I pray the VA can be protected and saved so I can go to physicians like Dr. Pitt.

The lady who was once a caring doctor suddenly rushed me through appoints without answering questions and told me to "look it up online". I came to her multiple times over the course of 2years with side effects related to LARC birth control and she continually dismissed me. I finally said I would remove it myself if she refused. I only did this after I found out she had lied to me saying the side effects were not related to the birth control but then wrote on my medical records that they were and were a common side effect!! Horrible to let a patient suffer for so long knowing there was a legitimate problem with a simple solution. Not to mention all of the other tests, exams etc I had to endure. If you are a patient here think long and hard before getting and IUD or Nexplanon because if you have a problem and want it removed early they may refuse. Also forcing patients to come in months early for unnecessary pelvic exams in order to obtain birth control pill refills, even if paps are current and negative. I have to agree with previous comments that this office no longer cares about their patients only how much money they can make off of you.

But I decided to write this now because I think maybe it will help patients who are looking for a new gyn avoid having to look all over again if they don't like this one for the same reasons I didn't. Okay, here's my experience: I had only gone to Dr. Josey a couple of times. She took my insurance and I didn't have a gyn in the area. So, I was trying her out. But, I was actually planning to stop seeing her and find a new doctor because I found her demeanor unusually cold and brusque for a gyn. But after that visit in early 2017, I think I realized why she was so curt with me. After my exam, she treated me to an uninvited rant about how I have to now get on board with the new political person who just won the presidential election. To me, it felt like (without asking me or knowing anything about me) she sized me up as someone who was not part of her political leanings. And that may have been why she was so cold and curt. I didn't file a complaint because it was just her and me in her exam room (yes, the rant took place in the exam room moments after my exam), so it would have been a "her word against yours" kind of thing. But, I think I understand the extreme mix of reviews she gets here. I think that if she picks up that you're of her mindset or you make that clear, you'll probably like her. If only because she might be a bit friendlier to you. If you probably don't share her opinions, I'd recommend that you continue looking for your right gyn. I did and found an amazing, warm and caring gyn right after Dr. Josey. She retired, unfortunately, or I'd recommend her here.

The way Partners works when you are pregnant is that you see a different doctor every time you go in so that when you deliver, you are familiar with most of the doctors and the doctor on call will deliver you. I dealt with many nurses and techs and everyone was fabulous. I didn't have a "normal" pregnancy. At 16 weeks, I had an issue that landed me in the hospital. Dr. Minton was on call that day and he really eased my concerns and talked me through how to get past my issue. At 29 weeks, I went into pre-term labor. Dr. Brown was on call that day and she admitted me to the hospital. She was extremely caring to my situation and was explanatory about how the process would go. Dr. Jaeger ended up delivering my baby. He was excellent. He was able to lighten my mood by joking with me and he made some very important decisions that gave my little preemie the best outcome possible. Dr. Kampsen has been my ENT since 1998. He is definitely one of my favorite doctors around the…read moreTampa Bay Area. Not only is he a great physician, he also has a great bedside manner. I am usually able to get in to see him or Trent, his Physician's Assistant, the same day if I call in the morning. I cannot say enough about his office staff. I almost feel as if they have become family to me since I have been seeing Dr. Kampsen for almost fifteen years. Tina and Scott are always a joy to talk to and Jane is always quick to give me a hug when I walk in. I never worry if I cannot get in to see Dr. Kampsen because Trent is just as good. They are both efficient and a pleasure to deal with, despite your malady or reason for being there. Yes, sometimes your wait may be long, but I expect that in most doctors' offices. It is also because everyone loves Dr. Kampsen, who in turn, loves his patients and his job. You can tell the staff does too, the employee turnover in this office is the lowest I have ever seen.
