I gave myself several months before writing this so I could share my experience based on facts, not emotion. In August 2025, I visited this office and confirmed a healthy pregnancy with a heartbeat. At 12 weeks, I returned due to bleeding and learned I had miscarried. The miscarriage itself was not caused by this office, but the way the situation was handled was deeply upsetting and, in my experience, completely lacking compassion and communication. After receiving the news, my husband and I were given almost no time to process it privately. I was quickly presented with treatment options by Dr. Baker - surgery the next morning, medication, or letting it happen naturally -- but was given no written information, discharge instructions, or resources to help me understand what to expect. I specifically asked for something to take home because I was extremely upset and could not process everything verbally, and I was told there was nothing available. I left with only a prescription sent to my pharmacy. As I walked out, I passed the same nurse who had been in the room when I was told I miscarried laughing with a coworker. Minutes earlier she had witnessed one of the most devastating moments of my life. At checkout, I was asked to schedule my anatomy scan, which made it clear there had been no communication internally about what had just happened. Within 48 hours, I experienced severe complications and ended up in the ER and hospitalized overnight. I had not been given clear guidance about timing, warning signs, or what to expect. This lack of communication resulted in an emergency situation and over $5,000 in medical bills. Months later, I received a $411 bill because this womens care sent my labs to an out-of-network laboratory. I signed a consent form for labs to be performed -- I did NOT consent to them being sent to an out-of-network provider not covered by my insurance. When I contacted the office, the front desk argued with me and insisted I had "signed consent" instead of acknowledging the billing error or helping resolve it. Between the lack of compassion during pregnancy loss, the absence of discharge guidance, poor internal communication, and the billing issue, this experience was both emotionally and financially damaging. Patients going through miscarriage deserve empathy, clear information, and coordinated care. That was not my experience here. They can never give me an appointment however, they withheld my birth control. Every time I need a refill we go through problems with the office. I had some questions about birth control, and the doctor was very judgmental and it was not a welcoming, comforting environment. I would not go here. It's a waste of your time read more

I've been trying to be patient and understanding, but I have finally hit my limit. I'm in my late 20s, with signs of endometriosis, no children, and on a birth control that is supposed to stop menstruation all together (which was inserted by another doctor and has been working for a while). I had been going to another Women's Care Florida location since I was 18, and recently moved, so I trusted the office. I started bleeding, and after three weeks I made an appointment. I was told that it happens sometimes but to call a doctor if it lasted for a month. I called to make my appointment and was told that I couldn't be seen for six weeks; I was hesitant about waiting that long, but I was told that it was hormone based and not life threatening, so I was okay with waiting. When I received my confirmation email, it said that my appointment was for an annual exam. I called back and said that my appointment should be for an abnormality that required an ultrasound, and they said that they had to change my appointment day and that I needed to go to the Clearwater location, and I said okay. I go to my appointment and just received a pelvic exam which hurt so bad that I was crying. I was told that everything seemed normal, but if I wanted an ultrasound they could do one in a few weeks. So I get my ultrasound and wait another week for the results. Mind you, by this time, I've been bleeding for over 10 weeks. I was told that I had a polyp that needed to be removed so I had a surgery scheduled. I had my surgery a few weeks later and was told they couldn't find the polyp so they just scraped my uterus. My surgery was 10 weeks ago and I'm still bleeding. At my follow up, I was told that everything is normal. I asked for further testing for endometriosis because I was already told before by a doctor that they think I have it, but needed a laroscopy to confirm. I asked if we could discuss scheduling one a few weeks in advance so I could make arrangements at work, and was told that if I'm concerned about work then it can't be that bad because most women with endometriosis can't even work. I now have an appointment with another OBGYN with Women's Care and was told that I have a balance with this location even though I've met my deductible. I haven't received a bill, and I made a deposit prior to my surgery, but that isn't reflected on the claim. Billing was screwed up throughout the entire process as well, and that frustrated me almost more than having a period since August. read more

The place is really run-down, from old carpet , old furniture and old wallpapers to old dusty exam light and outdated equipment in the rooms. You feel you are visiting a doctor in a third world country. The staff are nice and doctor is caring but so sad to see this place hasn't been renovated for over 20 years . Very frustrated with this practice as a whole. Tried to balance bill me after insurance paid (btw this is illegal) then they own their own labs and billed me for something that I already had labs on. Did not need lab work for. Be very careful they don't try to collect for unnecessary lab work. read more

The providers at the Palm Harbor office were very good, especially Dr. Dadisman and Dr. Long. I also really liked the ultrasound tech, Georgette, who I saw often because I was pregnant with twins. Would definitely recommend the providers in this practice. The billing department, however, has been a completely different story. I was assigned a case manager who often seemed to have no idea what was going on and when I would question charges, she would say things like "I'm sure it's correct", but couldn't always provide me details to actually verify that. They required that I pay my entire deductible and coinsurance up front for 2021 even though they were fairly positive I would have the twins in 2020 (which I did). Maybe this is standard procedure for maternity care, but I'm always weary when asked to pay in full for something before services are rendered, especially since I easily met my 2020 deductible. I did get a refund (for less than what I paid for upfront), but no explanation whatsoever with the check I received. I made another phone call regarding this, spent 30 minutes on hold, and now a spreadsheet is supposedly being mailed to me as no one would discuss the charges/refund over the phone. I also received an invoice for a $25 charge for the office to sign my short term disability form. I was not told that there would be a charge for this and all short term disability claims require a provider to sign off on them. While it's only $25, here you have a provider who is collecting thousands of dollars from each patient going through a pregnancy and then nickel and diming them for someone in the billing department (who receives a salary) to sign a claim form. And keep in mind that most people on disability are only making about 60% of their income during this time. That felt really crappy. So while the providers are excellent, the billing practices by the company would give me pause in recommending Women's Care of Florida unless someone is savvy with insurance and has the time to cross reference all invoices and Explanation of Benefits & also has the time to spend on the phone to raise concerns when not billed correctly. read more
