WOMPA is the most unique space I have been in. The area west of Riverside is mostly an industrial area but a lot of buildings are being completely remodeled, revitalized and re-purposed and I am here for it! WOMPA (West O'Main Producers Association), is a community of businesses and artists that promote creativity and collaboration. Getting to the warehouse is a bit tricky the first time, especially if you use Apple maps (the address on there is wrong). It is right after the railroad tracks to the left if you're going south. You go through the entry gates and there's an RV community and other buildings/warehouses. You have to drive almost all the way down to reach the Fred E. Cooper Warehouse, which is where WOMPA is housed in. There is still a lot of remodeling going on, but the vision for the space is so clear and exciting. A variety of businesses and artists are housed in WOMPA already: Black Moon, Ever Something, Julie Alpert, Paige Correa (EcoHaven Cleaning), Own Tulsa, Tony Li, BethAnne Interiors, Level Construction. Additionally, the shared spaces available are so comfortable and inviting. There are art galleries, lounges, conference rooms, sitting areas, kitchen, lunchroom and even lofts! They offer day memberships as well as more long-term options. This is such a great event venue, with the capacity to do small and large events. There's plenty of parking too! Anyone can request a tour on their website. Super excited to see this project fully fleshed out.

I love the concept but it's not sustainable with the way the business is organized. Big secrets are kept hidden here.

Great for events, travel trailer life!! Also great for start up businesses, close to downtown events and dining options.

This coworking space is SO impressive. My friend (who works remotely), invited me to check it out…read more They had a whole week offering FREE access to celebrate international coworking day in August (yes, that's a thing!). Not only did they offer free coworking all week, but they also featured something special each day --donuts, pizza, presentations, free drinks, happy hour, trivia, and even an ice cream party! The first day I went, I wasn't sure where it was. You have to go into the building, walk straight down the hallway, and the main door is on the left. I was very lost and the employee at the hospitality bar, Jessica, immediately asked if I needed help. I told her it was my first time there and she gave me a tour of the entire place. Both floors are filled with great decor and amazing local art. She was extremely helpful pointing everything out and setting me up for the work day. It was super fun working here and getting to try out all their amenities. They have a hospitality bar on the first floor and offer free bottomless coffee. I lost count of how many meeting rooms there are. Lots of options when it comes to size and capacity. There are also individual booths one can use if you need a quiet space. I'm low-key obsessed with their Bevi machine on the second floor- it serves still, sparkling, and flavored water on demand. You can even mix and match your own drinks! They offer a variety of memberships, depending on what you need. There are also day and week passes available if you don't want to commit. Highly recommend!

I like that they have access codes to get in so if you study late then you don't have to worry about other people coming in when the building is "closed". During regular hours they have free coffee or you can pay for fancier coffee. They also include socials where you can get to know other people who also use the space

If you're ever curious about checking this makers space out, they have tours every Saturday at 1pm. It's an amazing facility. The building opened in 2022 and it was made just for them so it's a huge upgrade from their previous location, where they were for 11 years. They now have an open floor plan with high ceilings and lots of natural light along with 20+ machines available. From laser cutters/engravers to water jets and 3D printers, the resources they offer are mind blowing. Fab Lab Tulsa is one of 1500+ MIT-chartered Fab Labs in 90+ countries and the first in the southeastern region of the U.S. (that's right, not even Dallas has one). Aside from the studio on the first floor, they have a metal lab and a wood lab, each with 10+ machines available. Both labs have a minimum age and require PPE to be worn at all times. The second floor has classrooms and a conference room. They have a membership model with lots of options depending on how many hours per month you'd like to have as well as what room. The pricing starts at $39 a month, which sounds like an incredible deal since you get to use machines that are $30-60k. Classes are also available for signup on their website along with education programming for kids. They have a couple of workforce initiatives as well. This is a huge asset in our community!
