The Brut is wonderful. It's very close to the Route 66 area we were interested in. The room was very large, well appointed, & had everything you could want. The beds were super comfy. The rooftop bar was amazing, the drinks and the views are top notch. Rebecca the bar manager is an outstanding mixologist! We were traveling on a budget, this was definitely a splurge BUT so worth it. If I'm ever in Tulsa again, it's the only place I'd stay. read more

My stay at Brut Hotel was pleasant overall -- the property itself is stylish, comfortable, and cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The interior design and general ambiance reflect a clear attention to detail, and it's evident that the hotel aims to provide a boutique experience. However, my experience was affected by noise issues during the night. Despite requesting a quiet room away from high-traffic areas when booking two weeks in advance, I was assigned a room directly across from the elevator. Unfortunately, the noise from guests talking and laughing in the hallway made it difficult to rest. When I brought this to the attention of the staff the following day, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and that no alternative accommodations could be provided. While I appreciated the overall comfort and aesthetic of the property, I was disappointed by the lack of responsiveness to my room request and the limited effort to address the noise concern. Wonderful evening at The Brut and thoroughly enjoyed SOMA Rooftop bar, my personal fav in Tulsa possibly enjoyed it too much...It was my first overnight stay at The Brut and very unique. Super clean, minimalistic w concrete floors. Beds SUPER COMFY, great nights sleep wind me a 90 sleep score on my Fitbit, hah! Only suggestion I would have is an area rug, would be nicer to walk on. Highly overrated, noisy, nothing like they advertised. The only thing that I found to be good is their spa and nothing else. The hotel employees especially some little girl kept following me and asking me questions. I informed her I was a guest but that did not matter to her she continued to follow me it got so weird we actually packed up and left in the middle of the night. So go and stay at your own risk of you want, but that was my experience and I will never ever stay there again. The restaurant ran out of food but still charged for the food and said they can't change that since it was room service. So another reason I won't ever be back. read more

This is a review for the hotel itself. It is a great boutique hotel. Staff are sweet, we had no issues. The rooms are SUPERIOR!!! I will stay here again anytime. It is a very modern trendy layout. We LOVED it. There are several floorplans available. For my needs, we went with the one king option but there are many different ones. The views are spectacular. The rooms are beautiful. The decor is perfect for me. The floor is concrete which I prefer- I hate allergens and other people's germs. They provide house slippers for the room. In lieu of gross unclean coffee pots you get a kettle and high quality coffee and tea options. Plus there is a craft coffee bar in the lobby. There is also a high quality mini fridge in the room. Checkin experience was smooth despite lack of tap pay. Pictures online are overly processed & don't adequately convey the feel or reality of the accommodations + common areas. The rooms aren't a complete disappointment when factoring in all the modern amenities: robes, slippers, mini bar, Apple TV, views, coffee, in-room dining, mugs, etc. But the lack of traditional features like: a microwave, phone, functional windows, central air, clean carpeting... make the rooms feel like a stiff institution, overdue for a renovation. Mini bar snacks also need better rotation to prevent spoiling/melting. The sleep experience was mediocre & so was the bath; our hand shower leaked but the alcove tub was sufficiently deep for a soak & great for bath bombs. While the snacks weren't all fresh, we received excellent service at the rooftop restaurant. Remi specifically, took excellent care of us in navigating food allergens. The entire food service team was the most professional of any hotel restaurants here in Tulsa. Views & ambience made the dining experience unimaginably spectacular. Although this property is in a great location, safe, well-staffed with equally well-trained employees, & competitively priced -- I wouldn't stay again as it wasn't the staycation we expected. The mezza at Soma in the Brut Hotel was $18 and consisted of two hummuses and assorted cheeses. You can pick 3 or 5 of their mezza options, so we said next time we would only do one hummus and get more of a variety next time! It was delicious, a perfect amount of food for a two-person appetizer. The entrees were both really nice. Grant and I both liked the steak frites dish better overall. The pasta was homemade and the noodles themselves were incredible. I wish there were more pasta offerings because that was definitely a highlight! Fantastic hotel crafted in the style of Brutalist architecture. Cement floors -yes! No more smelly, dirty hotel carpet-yes! Sparse decor- very. Clean lines-yes. The best thing-staff. Exceptionally nice and always smiling. Extremely accommodating. Truly a pleasure to experience now days. I would come back if only for that. They have a great restaurant-Soma- with locally sourced ingredients and a cool rooftop restaurant and bar where you can dine inside or out. We had avocado toast, chiliquiilas, and steak and eggs. The food was amazing. The breakfast steak was a petite, aged ribeye! So good. Beautiful pool area with bar and the pool is heated! Cool courtyard with lots of tables and chairs. They offered shuttle service within a 3 mile radius which waa extremely nice. Drivers all were so great and never had to wait. Lots of places to go and a super nice casino a little further down the road. I feel like this is a music city waiting to happen. Well, already happening. Lots of live music around as well as Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie museums and a Leon Russell thing. I'm not sure this hotel is a place for kids. I saw a couple of babies but no kid accommodations that I noticed. There was no microwave in our room so you would have to bring a bottle warmer i guess. They strive to give you a luxury stay and I felt that. Our room had a giant kitchen counter with a sink, a very cute little pot to boil water for instant coffee or tea and a wonderfully well stocked fridge. But it's locked and you have to make a special request to open it but then it stays unlocked for the remainder of your stay. That's no trouble-just tell them to go ahead and open it when you check in. It is the only fridge in the room But a few issues at the sink area . 1. No hand soap and no paper towels or cloths of any kind to go with that sink. So odd. Also, there is absolutely no gear whatsoever. You get 2 small sticks to stir coffee with. I do admire them for not using plastic food utensils but utensils of some sort are in order. We needed a bottle opener. We didn't get wine but there was no corkscrew in the room. . I guess we could have hauled our stuff down to open it or asked for someone to bring one up but what a hassle. They had a small metal ice bucket but no liner offered. In this day and time I need a liner Room service does not offer in room coffee service-you know, like a carafe and some cups. We probably would've ordered some food if we ordered some coffee. A continental breakfast offering would be nice. I get they want to sell coffee drinks and I love those. My issue is the coffee is served in paper cups and by the time I got back up to my room it was cold. Heat it up in microwave? Nope- I think they may consider it an uncool piece of decor for such a "hip" place. Maybe they have them in some of the rooms. Don't know. I did make the instant coffee in the room and it was better than the coffee from the coffee shop the previous morning. 3. I made reservations for three. We checked in with 3 people. I believe an upscale hotel would have had 3 of everything waiting in the room for us. Or they could have asked if we would like more towels (yes), glasses (yes), and coffee (yes). Again, if we had asked, I know they would have been glad to bring them up but for those 3 things plus the bottle opener we would been on the phone our entire stay. Lol. All small challenges that we easily overcame. If you haven't been to Tulsa, it's a must see The city is very cool. Very clean and not crowded. They have so many things to do and see. Great music city. Wonderful locally owned restaurants . We had fabulous food at Amelia's, The French Hen and of course Soma. . There's hardly any trafic. Style of rooms are austere thus the name. Bed is superb and pillow too. Room dark in morning b/c of blackout shades. Convenient location to downtown and Utica Square. Fun bar and good restaurant on top floor which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Definitely recommend hotel. read more

Likely my first hotel review on Yelp maybe because how unique this hotel is and how much it stands out in my memory of interesting hotel spots. I believe it used to be an apartment complex. Downstairs they have a cool lounge / breakfast or coffee shop area, and outside they have a pool and small lawn games. The rooftop is pretty cool and I didn't get to try the restaurant but I'm sure it was good. Moreover, the room has a lot of nice amenities/features, including complimentary vials of shower gel etc., coffee and those sleeping masks you put over your eyes. Adorable hotel! The room was clean and had a giant window as well as super cozy beds. My family all fell right to sleep which is unusual for hotel pillows but we were all comfy. One side of the bed lacked a nightstand which seemed like a missed opportunity so I had to use a small table from the bathroom just to have somewhere to set a drink and my phone at night. The parking was also a little far away and the front parking was too steep of stairs for my little kids. The body wash was the best smelling though and it definitely felt like a safe hotel. Yum Yum. Give me some. You know this girl likes a nice brunch - we three girlfriends had a fun luncheon brunch and and had cocktails and delicious entrées and then went and sat on the outdoor patio for a good while and chattered even on a crispy fall day. I have also had the opportunity to eat dinner here and it is very delicious and always a beautiful spot sky high in downtown Tulsa with stunning views of downtown and the refinery and the river. Yes, I did say stunning views of the refinery, kind of tongue and cheek, but they're kind of pretty when they're lit up at night or emitting lots of steam during the daytime. Any rate this is a great little establishment and I'm proud it is here in Tulsa! There were quite a few little snags and snafu with our orders and the service is a little bit green but hopefully that will improve what time and also I hope they get drink service outside. read more

Rooms very nice and beds comfortable... location is perfect to run around downtown area and walking area is great.. on the best side of town... would definitely go back!!! I have mixed feelings about this hotel. As soon as I walked in, I noticed a bug on the floor, which completely grossed me out. The room was interesting, with concrete floors, a kitchenette, and some nice beds. The beds were comfortable, and the room wasn't freezing cold like most hotels I've been to. The shower/bath combo was average, nothing special. The lighting was peaceful, and the windows were quite scenic. However, I saw pictures online of people getting hammocks in their rooms, desks, and multiple bedrooms (?!), etc. My room was given none of these. We paid $129 a night for what? A couple of beds on a concrete floor? The only reason this is a three-star instead of two is because of the pet friendly policies and the pool. This hotel is definitely interesting. read more

Weird Rooms, Beds are on a "Trip Hazard" Platform. You'll learn VERY quickly, to leave the lights on at night to avoid falling during a late night trip to the bathroom.. (A trip to the Emergency Room will help to remind you) With a combination of Rude Hotel Guests, Paper thin walls and bare concrete floors, you'll be able to hear EVERYTHING that happens in the surrounding rooms. By far one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very affordable, modern, impeccably designed, eco-friendly, spotlessly clean (no carpets!), huge rooms plus wonderful customer service. The rooftop bar & restaurant are a great perk, as well. I'm a bit of neurotic clean freak so I wish every single hotel chain would take note on what they've done here at Brut. Not sure how often I'll be getting back to Tulsa, but certainly won't be staying anywhere else. The only negative to note is that the step up to the beds might be a concern for anyone who is elderly, disabled, or even drunk. Beautiful design, but something to consider. read more

It was almost a wonderful stay... Pros: The concierge was so friendly and helpful- even had a phone charger on hand for me when I forgot my charging black. The room is clean and has a relaxing vibe. The tea kettle and deep tub and even the quality of products were a nice touch. Cons: the apps on the tv weren't updated so I couldn't logon and watch my Netflix or Hulu acct. The trash and landscapers were SO loud starting early in the morning. (Trash came at like 7am) This may not be a problem for people who are staying for work and need to be up in the morning, but for a "spa like" experience I was pretty disappointed by the noise. I came specifically to relax and get good sleep. I even requested a quiet room when I made my rsvp, but alas- no luck. read more

Unfortunately my family lives directly behind this place. They lack any concern or respect for those of that live on this street. The live dj and pa system on their rooftop outdoor area is absolutely ridiculous, and a number of us have lodged complaints to them and the police. It is absolutely unacceptable and infuriating to have to put up with it. They have made absolutely no attempt to get along or come to agreements on things with any of the families that are subjected to the noise volume. read more

I have to stay in hotels, an average of every 2 to 3 weeks a month and I have never been more impressed by a hotel in Tulsa than I was by the Brut hotel. From the time you walk in, you were greeted and welcomed in such an authentic way and the Hotel interior is just gorgeous. And then I get to my room and to my surprise, I had a beautiful and incredibly comfortable hammock in my suite that was heavenly to use as I did my reading at night. It was very quiet and the bed was spectacular. Incredibly comfortable and I slept better in this bed than I have in any other hotel. The luxury spa robes and the eucalyptus Bath products were a beautiful touch. I had to stay for a work trip, but I'm already wanting to plan a three day spa weekend retreat. It was just beautiful and relaxing. And let's not forget about the gorgeous rooftop bar with a very chic loft, vibe, live music, amazing menu, and incredible views, even though I went during the peak of Summer, it wasn't hot on the rooftop bar. I was quite sad when I had to check out of this hotel. So comfortable and relaxing. read more
