I just have to take a moment to shout out Wonder Chamber Selfie Museum I had been here before with my daughter but when talking about the selfie museum a young lady close to my daughter has been going through a really difficult time. She's a high school senior currently experiencing homelessness, and her mom wasn't able to celebrate her birthday this year.. As someone who runs a nonprofit, I reached out to a few places hoping someone would be willing to help make her day special. When I say they were absolutely amazing, I mean that with my whole heart. They were kind, welcoming, and so accommodating. They helped create a beautiful space where she and her friends could celebrate, laugh, and just be young for a moment. And listen... it wasn't just pictures. It was joy, confidence, and memories. Watching these girls light up, feel beautiful, and enjoy themselves in such a fun, creative environment meant everything. You could literally see their spirits lift. Everybody deserves to feel special, especially on their birthday and especially a young woman pushing through life and still showing up and doing her best. Because of this experience, I will always support and recommend them. If you're looking for a place that brings fun, creativity, and positive energy, this is definitely a spot you should check out

Me and my friend had a great time here! It was about $40 for two people for an hour. Honestly I was not expecting this place to have so many photo rooms when we first arrived. The rooms are not just great for cute pics but they are also interactive. My only criticism is that they had a map of all the rooms because we did get lost a few times. They had one at the front but I wish I had one to carry around.

So I really wanted to love this place but it's just trying to be a Meow Wolf and we've been to every MW they have & this is no were close. I will say there is a few places that are extremely cool inside. Our favorite inside was the dinner. The set up was really cool but other than that, you are paying $20 a person and you only have an hour to do it. You definitely could do it for less time but for the price, it was meh. For a family I think it's pricey, but for like a date night, it's perfect. I can't imagine doing this place in the summer. The only AC place was the ice room.

Hidden gem We didn't have any expectations as we walked in. Discovering so many unique rooms was a great experience for us

My daughter and I love this place so much. We come at least once per "season" to experience all the changes they make. This was our third visit and it was the best one yet because they've expanded and added even more attractions. We can't wait for the new season whenever it happens and we will continue to come back time and time again.

My son & I visited on Friday evening & we had a blast!! There is plenty of free parking. We took our time in each area and took lots of cool pics! My son enjoyed all the interactive stuff. They give an hour time frame which ended up being just enough time so we didn't have to rush through. My son's favorite was the ice cave. He loved the keyboards and the changing lights. It was pretty cold in there which was great!! I thought the Candy land room was the cutest!! This place is great for date night or family time. We loved exploring this place & shall return when the new exhibit opens.

We took a group of students here and they had a great time! Fun picture opps, interactive room, and cool visual experience.

This place was so neat. Oscar was AMAZING! He gave us a tour guide and helped explained each room so well. It was so fun going through and interacting with all of the things they had to offer. You're able to use your senses to heighten the experience. 9/10

Place has become terrible. Many non-functional areas. Not worth the $50 we paid for two people.save your money. It was dirty, run down, and half of the "exhibits" were not functioning, lights were out or the systems were not working. Legit took us like 10 minutes to walk through or less.. I emailed the owner to get a refund cause of the huge disappointment and no response. I also called, and gave them my phone number for them to call and again no one has reached out to me. Poor customer service and facilities are def not worth your time or money.

I always love a good immersive museum and Wonder Chamber definitely delivered. All the different sets were fun and me and my friend totally got creative with the props. We went towards the end of the night and there was maybe 2 other groups at the same time as us. Everyone was super respectful of the place and we are able to leisurely roam around and take our time getting that perfect shot!

This place is a must if you're into immersive art or like to get insta famous. There aren't many rooms but it's enough to spend at least an hour to get some nice shots. I really like that you can change the colors of the room with the touch pad in some of the rooms ... which really sets the tone and how you want to take that glam picture. It's a bit pricey considering how small it is ($25!) but it's all about the experience, right? so make sure u take advantage of each space and make the best of it!

Had the pleasure of checking out the Wonder Chamber ahead of its grand opening and I was extremely impressed by how elaborate the rooms are. The rooms have everything you could need to make a nice photo. The $28 price point is definitely worth it and they offer discounts to veterans and sometimes give discounts to students and teachers. This business is locally owned and operated, so if you're big on supporting local business, this is it. My favorite room was the Edison garden room. Definitely make a point of stopping by this creative studio!

We went here a week or so ago as part of a ladies night and we had a great time. The workers at wonder chamber are kind, accommodating and will gladly take group photos for you. They come periodically to check to see if there is anything you need. You have one hour to go through all 11 rooms plus a secret room. I thought we wouldn't have enough time to fully take in each space but we had a lot of time to do just that. I love that you can interact in each room uniquely. This is a great place to take children or adults honestly. They have a chalk wall to write down you Instagram handle and a space to write down your fears. They hand you a pamphlet with the room numbers and names of the rooms, (#4,5, 10& 12) were my favorites.

This was our second museum visit of the summer while my sister is staying with me. I feel like they've added so many new exhibits since my last visit, or maybe I just rushed through everything back then. This time, I really took my time reading about the artwork and exhibits, and it made the experience so much more fascinating. Each floor had its own unique collections and displays to explore. My favorite part was the Chinese vases exhibit. I don't remember seeing it before, and it was incredibly interesting. It was something completely new to me and definitely stood out during the visit. It was a little warm inside, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and we had a wonderful time. I definitely plan on bringing my other sisters here in the future. Highly recommend checking it out, especially on the free admission days!

The museum itself is easy to explore, and there were several pieces that caught my attention. Overall experience felt somewhat disjointed. The arrangement of the galleries was interesting, but the assortment of art often seemed random rather than thoughtfully connected. I found myself wishing there was a clearer curatorial vision tying the exhibits together. In some areas, it felt as though the artwork had simply been placed around the museum rather than organized in a way that told a cohesive story. There are definitely worthwhile pieces to see, but I think the museum could benefit from stronger curation and a more intentional flow between exhibits. Worth a visit if you're interested in art, but it didn't leave a lasting impression on me.

The building itself is art with its wood detailing, arches, and intricate tile ceilings and floors. The actual art collection consisted of over 20,000 items, but only some are displayed and occasionally on rotation. The collection embodied European and American art of the nineteenth century, twentieth, and twenty first centuries. Sooo much to see- paintings, special exhibits, vase collection, Angelica Raquel Mystic Threads, sculptures, and a lovely garden/pond/fountain containing koi. The museum has a gift shop, restrooms, and a special collection of art displayed by many artistic school children. My new found artist I discovered here was Carl Rice Embery. Most museums have very old famous painting, but the Briscoe has a large number of paintings which have been painted recently. Now don't get me wrong, Blue Boy at the Huntington is an amazing painting but the paintings at the Briscoe were so vivid and captivating. I wish I could have purchased at least a dozen of them. The colors were bright, which made me wonder if this is what it would have been like looking at a Van Gouh a year after it was painted? Even though there were contemporary painting, the subject matter was distinctly western capturing a style unlike anything I have seen before. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. For instance, we asked what's the best way to go through the museum. Start one the 3rd floor and work your way down. We highly recommend making a day of it. When you first enter, there's giant toy puzzles shaped as gears, then another room that takes you to a full on pretend city arena where there's little tykes cars for these kids to drive around in this pretend city, a HEB store front, airplane simulation, trolley, car wash, vet office, etc. so fun for these kids!
