Was on a day trip to Atlanta and got tired of all the walking so we found this spot on pleasant hill road. It was on the end corner of a strip mall. I came inside and the interior was dimmed with some relaxing piano music going. Was greeted and ask what kind of massage i wanted. Cause my legs were tired i did the 40 minute feet and 20 minute back. The massage was nice and relaxing i think i dozed off a couple time. The feet massage did the job but the massage therapist hands were a little lighter than i would want. The chair back massage was good. I had a tight knot in my back and she was able get it loose. Overall the experience was good, decent price for what you get. Interior was a little dated and wish the massage therapist was a little stronger but overall it was a good experience. My wife and I have been getting 90-minute massages here for about a year. Averaging 2x per month, we spend more than $500/month and tip very well. I treat my masseur with the upmost respect and tonight we left extremely disappointed. You can tell when your masseur is not completely present. He kept moving his cell phone around the table as he worked, he kept pausing and his speed and rhythm kept changing. It was very disruptive and not relaxing. And I could tell he was distracted. He did not follow the typically routine and I didn't even get hot stone. I finally raised my head to see a game on his phone which he seemed to be playing the entire massage. The last thing anyone wants during a massage is conflict, so I lay there disappointed and angry, waiting for it to end. I told the woman at the front desk as we left and she apologized. I asked her what they do when you only get half a massage. She offered me $20 off. My wife was angry and said "I guess we have to find a new place." The rest of the night I have this awful feeling of disappointment. I have treated him well and I feel so disrespected. We have been more than pleased with the service they provide. Wonder Foot Massage has a very friendly staff & we have truly enjoyed our massages. I like deep pressure but if they hit a tender area (like the arch of my foot sometimes), they listen to me if I ask them to alter the pressure for such an area. I appreciate that. In most Chinese run massage establishments, you are going to experience the usual disturbance; open area with new customers chiming in, conversing/whispering in mother tongue amongst each other or answering the phone during service, the language barrier, hit or miss on service, occasional mishaps in scheduling... The list goes on and frankly, you're getting what you pay for. If you're willing to adjust your sensitivity level towards these matters, you'll find the experience could go far better for you. Moving forward. I've been around the block with these places as most of us have and there are other therapists in this very location that do well but if you want your money's worth, Michael is your man. His English is very limited but he requires no direction. He has strong, experienced hands and is consistent with each visit. Call me bias but when you find a good thing, don't let it go. Since we were turned about because we did not have an appointment at Health Foot Spa down the street, we treated ourselves to a foot massage here instead after a long day of shopping. Like others have stated, I would only recommend this for foot massage only. You walk in, and there are many reclined chairs in rows for foot massages. So you are not taken into a private room, or anything like that. It is about 70 degrees and the lights are dim, with a large TV in the right corner of the room and the reception area at the back left. All you will hear is music and employees speaking quietly in Mandarin. With the $25 foot massage for one hour it starts with a foot soak and brief head massage, arm and hand massage, then to the feet. Afterwards, don't be surprised when the person crawls on top of you to pound on your thighs. I have had reflexology style foot massages before, and Wonder Foot Massage was far less painful with minimal bruising. This is more of a relaxing style foot massage, which is a must if visiting the Duluth area. read more

I visited this massage shop with my sister tonight. My usual massage shop was booked so I called around to find the last minute place that can accommodate all of us three. Thankfully this place had openings tonight so we went there. We picked $40/hr for 40 min foot massage and 20 min chair massage. First, they soaked my feet in hot water for 5 minutes and started massaging. I am a bit picky because I do not like too little or too much pressure - It needs to be just right. The person who massaged my feet tonight did it just right so it was wonderful. After 40 mins of foot massage, they moved us to the chair to give us chair massage. This was one of the best! Trying a new place in the area, came in for a foot and body combo. When I arrived there was one guy giving a girl a foot massage while her 2 friends just sat and talked loudly together. 2 other men were sitting on couches in front of a TV watching videos on their phones and loudly slurping tea out of jars. Made it hard to relax while getting a foot massage and none of the employees bothered to remind them of proper spa etiquette. After the 3 girls left someone else came in for a foot massage and the same guy attended to them. Not sure if the other 2 men were employees or just people hanging out there. It was also odd that the relaxing music would often just stop and there would be an advertisement for soap and lotions. Once in the body massage room, it was more relaxing, other than the commercials interrupting the music. This is business, if you want to pick customers and just want to service skinny people than you might as well as close your store. They better be glad I don't believe in suing people. However, for people that wants to come to this store. Either speak Chinese or else don't expect them to service you unless you're skinny. I've been to many foot massage places in Seattle and Los Angeles. This place was by far the worst. I called ahead for appointments. My brother and I got there at the same time and my brother got like 10 minutes of a back massage on the chair while I waited and then we both got and 30 or 40 minutes of a foot massage. The guy started yelling at his coworkers in Chinese as he was rubbing my feet. Awkward. And then we were done. And the minimum tip is $10. Since when is a tip mandatory? Go anywhere else. read more

My usual spot for traditional Chinese foot massage is Health Foot Spa on Old Norcross. But, they were packed so decided to try this new place I had seen. Price is the general going rate at $25/hour. Started with a hot water foot soak for about 10 minutes. The foot massage itself was about 60% there. My masseuse hit most of the key accupressure points in the top part of my foot, but missed a lot in the lower half. Not sure what was up with that. Light head massage and some shoulder massage was tagged on the end. The actual massage itself was 50 minutes. I guess they counted the 10 minute foot soak as part of the hour, which isn't right. Also, the shoulder rub, back, arms, head, etc should've been at the beginning during the foot soak. Order was wrong and makes a big difference in the flow and experience. read more

I tried a different place first but it was closed so then I went here. I called first to make sure someone would be there and they told me to come over. There were no other customers there and I guess I got lucky because shortly after my massage started another customer came in and was told to come back in an hour because they didn't have anyone available to help him. The massage started with a foot soak, and then he massaged my face and scalp briefly, then he moved onto a brief massage of my neck and shoulders. He did my arms and hands next. Then the foot massage started. I'd say he worked on each foot for about 20 minutes. It's a very relaxing atmosphere, quiet and dark and I had to make an effort to stay awake. The pressure was good. I'm no expert so I don't know if he hit my reflexology pressure points or not but overall the experience was good and I'd go back. read more

The first time I went I had a couples massage with my boyfriend. The place was nothing fancy but the price was quite attractive. I will say I had the most amazing full body massage. Ask for Mary. That little 90 pound lady stood on my back and stretched me. It was amazing. She did got stones too. Don't underestimate the size of her, she has strength like a 300 pound man and I can take ALOT of pressure. The downfall is how they speak Chinese to one another it's so unprofessional. My boyfriend asked them twice if they could stop talking so much and they finally stopped. $50 for an hour but another $10 to add lotion that was the trick but it sure did feel much better when we added the lotion. I came back for a chair massage with Ma. He was amazing. But again, the place is very unprofessional. Too much talking and not a place to go if you want to relax. But if you're in pain and are desperate to get a massage, this place gets the job done. $30 for a 45 minute foot massage and 15 minutes of chair massage. If you like hard pressure, ask for MA. He doesn't speak a lick of English but sure can massage. Update : I will never come here again unless MA is available. I've had the others and MA is hands down the best and he knows what he's doing. DON'T COME !!! we were 2 minutes late and they didn't take a group of 7 people ! We made a reservations, and the way we were turned away was just not acceptable behavior! Very odd place that doesn't seem to want any customers. What gives? We made a reservation and show up 3 minutes late and are told to leave. Only one customer in the place and there are plenty of empty chairs. We would be fine if they took 5 minutes off the foot massage if they are expecting a lot of customers in an hour but that is not what seems to be going on here. And the level of rudeness is strange - chasing away 7 customers willing to pay as if they committed some grave offense? Very suspicious. We will never waste time on this place again. I might have come on a really bad day. I was hopeful that this place would be good, considering how close it is to my residence. I never walk out of establishments without good reason, but the staff at Wonder Foot gave me plenty of reasons. I called to make an appt to guarantee the time and availability of therapists. I asked for specific appt time and the woman said "yeah...yeah...come in...that time is fine...bye...bye." She didn't ask for my name or seem to make any type of appt, although I was very clear about wanting an appt time. I then head there and they are pretty busy. I told them that I had an appt and they simply said "go sit" towards a wait area and didn't give me a timeline or offer me water/tea while I waited. Oh well...I will just chill. They had a big tv playing sports on mute (weird) and no relaxing music playing softly in the background. I am sitting there for 10 mins and no one is updating me even though I thought I made an appt. However, I can deal with that. Here is the reason why I left without getting my service. As I waited for 10 minutes or so, all 4 therapists (actively working on their poor customers) were talking LOUDLY to each other without a pause. One therapist was giving a woman a scalp massage and talking loudly to another staff member while just a few inches from her face. Overall, my gut said "these people are unprofessional and you will waste money on a very stressful and annoying experience." I simply got up and walked out and used Yelp of course to find another spot nearby called Empress Spa in Duluth which turned out to be a wonderful gem. I expect some chatter in these places, but this level of talking was unbelievable and I felt so bad for the poor customers who had to put up with it. I wasn't going to be the next victim. Did I walk into a coffee shop? I didn't mean to...it was around 5 pm on a Saturday. There were 2 clients already getting their feet rubbed, looking at their cell phones while being worked on. I will never understand the concept of paying someone to rub and relax you while focusing on a phone, call me crazy, plenty of people have. I was lucky to have Nancy work her magic on me during my 90 minute foot massage, $40.00. After I was seated I was offered tea and was thrilled when Nancy brought me out a little teapot and proper teacup, I was feeling special. I was relaxing into the massage when the staff starting talking to each other in another language. Not just for a quick question but talking like I wasn't there and they weren't in a massage store. I asked Nancy to help me get my peace back and they quieted down. I entered ZEN heaven and probably fell asleep for a few minutes when the staff started talking again, REALLY??? This time Nancy could see I was upset and a girl came over and asked if I was okay. I asked her to tell the staff to please whisper, she did, they said, sorry and the rest of my time there was wonderful. I will try them one more time before I give up, $40.00 for a 90 minute foot massage is a great reason for second chances. I was greeted and seated immediately, and of course I was given the usual "Do you want to upgrade?", but no one was pushy and it was very quiet ans relaxing.
