I never leave bad reviews but this was the worst manicure and pedicure in my life. The manicurist, if you could even call her that, was so rough and took off half my nailbed with her Dremel, and was so rough with my cuticles she made me bleed and tried to blame me. This is the place to go if you want an express pedicure. Took less than 15 minutes and cost me 48 dollars plus an additional tip which I'm still asking myself why I even left one. I had an appointment for ANC with tips. I told her I would like them round and on the shorter side. I pick my nails so having ANC helps deter that.. Anyway I asked to please push back my cuticle and clear it up a bit. I got super short, uneven nails that don't go to my cuticle. It looks like I've had these on for a week and it's been 12 hours... There is still a ton of dead skin and my cuticle wasn't pushed back at all. There was powder still on my nails too. ANC with tips was $45 before gratuity. I didn't need anything removed from my nails either .. I could have done a better job myself. I won't be coming back. No massage (maybe COVID?) and I didn't get nail oil or a hand massage. read more

I took my girls ages 6,7, 8 for mini bday treat to get there nails done... and asked kindly.. can you please make sure you clean the nail beds so the paint won't peel off next day... sure enough - it started peeling next day. Only doing 2 stars because the nails aren't the absolute worst BUT the experience I had was. I made an appointment for my friend and I to get our nails done, the first thing they try to do is put us on opposite ends of the salon even though no one else was there. I politely asked if my friend could sit beside me and they literally made such a big deal out of it. It's not like the other girl had to move her set up, just her seat. She was rolling her eyes and complaining to another nail tech. Then the guy I had was way to rough and ripped up the skin around my nails. It hurt soooo much, I've never had this happen to me before anywhere else. This was our first time here and price said $30 for ANC. The guy began writing my slip for $30 and I said I'm paying for my friend too, he asked the other girl what price to write and she said $70 even though my friend and I got the same thing. Simple ANC- no soak off of previous nails, no crazy designs, no special shape, and no tips. When I asked why he originally said $30 for mine he acted confused as if he didn't understand even though earlier he answered my questions just fine. He turned to her and asked her in (I believe) Vietnamese and she just threw up her hands and aggressively responded back to him. He handed me the ticket without a word so I just paid. Very upset that $30 turned into $45 without an explanation when the prices on the board even said $30. Of course I also tipped. My nail shape is uneven, so are my friend's, but not as bad as mine. He kept looking past me at someone he works with and then forgetting what nail he was working on. Then he kept checking his phone and it resulted in a messy manicure. have been there several times and I will not return. I believe it was the manager who did my manicure it was a very bad experience. The pedicure was excellent done by a male staff person but then I was handed off to him. There only 2 other customers in salon.He acted very irritated Notvat all welcoming He was on his cell phone and made me wait quite a while till he put it down. He used his dirty fingernails to scrape the nail polish off my skin and push back my cuticles. I had to tell him repeatedly he was squeezing my fingers to tightly,hurting me leaving actual indentations in my skin. It was disgusting that he was not using sterilized tools but his filthy fingernails. He spoke loud and rudely to staff in another language totally ignoring me the whole time as if I was an inconvenience. Within 24 hours the nail polish had peeled off as if they were stickers. Not really sure what to rate this place. I was in Albany for work and decided to try them. Perhaps my expectations are too high from my favorite salon back home! Service was fast. I had shellac nails done in less than a half hour. Cost was $30. About the same as back home. Quality of service. Well they didn't soak my nails or cuticles when they trimmed them. That's a tad uncomfortable for me. She cut one cuticle. Yes there was blood. No cuticle softener. She used a dremel tool on my nail bed. Just slightly but not so sure I like that. Part of the reason I like shellac is that it doesn't damage the nail bed like acrylic. The polish doesn't go all the way to the edge of the nail either. I have a feeling it will chip sooner rather than later. Perhaps I will update my review when it does. read more

I went here with my mom and sister. We didn't have an appointment but only waited about 10 minutes to get started with our mani-pedis. The manicurists were very nice and professional, but a bit disorganized. They did mine and my sister's pedicures right away, but our mom had to wait in the massage chair for half an hour before they got to her, by which point the water was long cold. Then when my sister was getting her nails done and got up for a minute to rinse her hands, another manicurist came by and sat a different customer down in her chair, and she had to wait for another station to become available. All in all we got quality mani-pedis for $37 each, so I guess you get what you pay for. read more

As shes finishing my pedicure another customer walks in who apparently had an appointment with the person doing my toes. The employee says I have to do this persons nails she will be doing your manicure (another employee). So the second women starts my mani. Didnt cut them down or finish my cuticles and asks if I want to pay. Then proceeds to hover over me for my card. She also tried helping me by reaching her hands in my wallet like she was being impatient. Now for why I'm writing this part.... as I wrote a tip she proceeded to take the receipt look at what I put as a tip and say "thats it? Thats it for two of us?" ASKED ME IF THAT WAS ALL I WAS GIVING HER!!!! My friend heard it too and not only was I so angry and uncomfortable but I was embarrassed that she would do that in front of other customers. She said that's it for two of us? Then the women who did my pedicure grabbed the receipt to look and they both started talking. Not in English but I knew exactly what was being said. I had a half ass manicure after that with painted cuticles that should've been clipped in the first place. SO because i didnt tip to her liking i got a shitty manicure and treated like dirt. I will not go back there with my hard earned money to literally throw it away on that treatment. Its a waste of money and you're made to feel cheap. Not only that but if you knew a customer was coming in specifically for you THEN GIVE THE WALK IN TO SOMEONE ELSE. Don't ask somebody if that's it when they didn't ask for two nail techs. Up until recently, I was a repeat customer at this place. The last couple times I have been there have been disappointing. The two most recent pedicures I've gotten have had chips in them within hours of leaving the salon. The lotion and massage portion for one of those pedicures was extremely rushed and not worth the price paid. I have gotten a gel manicure recently which was good and stayed on for a long time. Above and beyond the quality of the services, though, I have some serious hygiene concerns. When I sat down for my last manicure, they used a box of tools out from the storage room that did not look new or even cleaned. Honestly I probably should've said something and I'm lucky I didn't get an infection. Also disgusting - the floor under the nail dryers was FILLED with nail clippings. It was disgusting to look at. You know how some places call themselves a "spa" but it's really a nasty, unsanitary nail place? Welp, that's not the case here!! They really are a spa-- everyone is so professional. My mom and I went for mothers day and it was very busy. We waited less than 10 minutes and they were nice enough to make sure we were seated next to eachother (not just placing us at the first avaliable spot). Michael and John did our nails and they were so thorough- we felt like we were being pampered! Everything in this place is SANITARY which i LOVE! Very clean, very modern, and great price. I was driving down Central, saw a sign and stopped in. I needed a pedicure. The place was clean, neat, the ladies getting work done all seemed happy with their manicures/nails and pedicures. I was seated right away, the technician tended to me efficiently. $25 for a pedicure is what I pay if I'm in AZ or CA. So, NY is on par. read more

I came here the other night for a full set and I wanted short, natural looking nails. The nail tech was really rough on my hands and gave me honestly the one of the ugliest sets ever. I said natural but he packed on about half an inch of acrylic and now my nails look so thick and fake. To top it off, he didn't shape them the way I wanted to. Sharp square nails do not look natural. The employees have always been extremely rude but I never really cared because they did a nice job and it was somewhat clean. After my last experience I will NEVER be coming back to this place. Got a lovely glittery French ANC manicure today. I like that it won't chip and will stay on until I take it off. They have good coupons in the clipper. The staff was friendly. I fortunately they are not very clean. None of the nail clippers are sterilized and the nail files are all reused. Not much sanitation going on at all. read more
