Got a green juice here while waiting for my flight. I ordered the Canyon Green, which consisted of apple, kale, celery, lemon, and ginger. It was good to get a bit of something healthy and to also work on my laptop at the table I sat at before I hopped on my flight. Service was very nice and quick. I did find the pricing for the rest of the menu and the food on the high side, which is why I opted to eat breakfast at The Flying Horse and not here. They did sell me on the green juice, which was why I came back here, so kudos to them for that.

Not a bad place for a quick bite before taking off. Last leg of the trip before heading home back to La. beside all the others restaurant that was there, this place seem reasonable. Plus they had a full English breakfast that I was craving and it would be a proper one for a while. They clearly aim to pleased. Once we ordered, food came out not long after. Selection was quick decent. Basic, breakfast, lunch, etc. A plus as well, they have electric sockets at most tables for your charging needs. Beside that, your could have your meal with a view as the restaurant has a full view of the runway and planes.

Quite possibly the best airport restaurant I've ever dined at- not that the bar is set too high for that, but Wondertree has fresh, healthy meals available fast enough for you to sit down for a meal and still catch your flight. Our group had breakfast here before a full day of flights and the food was filling without being heavy. SMOKED SALMON PLATE: DIY lox bagel with labneh instead of the usual cream cheese, plus some (sad looking) avocado slices. WOODSTOCK PLATE: If you're not a breakfast eater, this light plate of poached eggs, potato wedges, tomatoes, cheese, and hummus gives you a good variety of flavors and textures to snack at. SHAKSHUKA: Baked eggs in a surprisingly spicy tomato sauce with chorizo and rainbow peppers. The dining room is modern and welcoming, with lots of windows and wood, making for a calming pre-flight meal. There is a flight board in the dining room so you can keep an eye on your plane, too.

For an airport restaurant what I care about is quick and efficient service plus some decent grub. Wondertree delicers. The menu promises that most meals are ready in 10 minutes and encourages you to highlight and time constraints. Kudos for that. The menu was slightly eclectic but breakfast looked to be available all day and the flat breads were more like a Sicilian pizza and quite yummy. Definitely a nice stop for the airport restaurant.

I had a 8 hour layover in London and was too afraid to step out of the airport due to potential time constraints so I was determined to eat fish and chips somehow. Fortunately, Wondertree offered and delivered. I got the Surfer's fish and "chips" and it was very delicious. There were plenty of "chips" on the plate, and although my picture may make them look small, there were three good-sized fried fish on the plate. The fish was tender and tasted really fresh. The breading they used was seasoned very well. Coupling that with their tartare sauce made it 4 stars for me. It was all very filling and very flavorful. My friends and I also shared a pitcher of the Vino Francesca (large) and it gave 6 glasses of delicious sangria. Super refreshing with the rosé wine and fresh lemonade. Overall, a great stop to make if you are stranded in the airport. It's bright and energetic and service was very nice.

Wow I was completely impressed with Wondertree, and for so many reasons! Usually in an airport everyone is running around like crazies because everything is so busy and it's just redonculous. There have been so many times when my husband and I had snarfed our food down so quickly because it came at the very last minute and clearly we just don't learn! Anyway, this time we were greeted promptly, all our food came quickly and correctly, and the lovely waitress was even happy to fill up my massive water bottle. What a gem. The food was delightful too with a lot of lovely options. We shared the Mexican Breakfast and the Shakshuka. Very good. And you know what, the thing I remember most about this place was the awesome ambiance. I'm not even kidding! It's got these giant pretty green light up leave things (definitely doesn't sound nice but trust me it is) and it feels like you're in a jungle. That must be it. Some amazing designers created a calming effect in the restaurant. Genius. It could also be that I was psyched to go on holiday, but still, the place is just lovely in general.

I had the avocado + salsa and egg on a flatbread with a smoothie. The avocado wasn't ripe yet and it was hard to even cut it with a knife. The portion was a bit small and it tasted bland. Thank you complimentary hot sauce on the table for being there for me during these times of needs. The smoothie was good, but a bit too watery for me. The total cost me around 13 pounds which wasn't too bad. As for the service, our server was nice and friendly and the food came quickly. If you're not that much in a hurry and don't want to eat cold sad sandwhiches or don't want to spend too much, this place isn't too bad.

If you want some Cultural food, this is the place for your. Ranging from burgers, to kimchi, to pad Thai, to pasta... they have it all. I would say the food is fairly decent, Services are good, pricing is just like any airport prices. It's a spacious cafe, so if you've got a long layover you could hang out around here. They've also got a fully stocked bar :)

Maybe I just don't like this kind of food, but I got the calamari and it was big and stringy and I did not enjoy it. I went here because it was the least crowded and I could get a drink. They seat you quickly, the service was fast, my server was pleasant. There are chargers at the table, which is convenient. The food was not a style I enjoyed, so it was hard to find something I liked, and when I got it, I did not enjoy it. Other than that, everything was excellent!

Arrived at the AirPort late, was very hungry, and wanted some warm meal to eat. Found this place just 30min before closingtime, but was taken good care of by the waiter. Food was ready after 12minutes, and was DELICIOUS!! They take pride of using quality ingredients and fresh food, and we really could taste the difference! Beef burger was sooooo good! Will look for this restaurant in the future!

Excellent smoked salmon with creme fraiche and "wonder slaw". Delicious.

Feeling compelled to write this review as I sit in the restaurant digesting my delicious lunch. I had zero expectations for the meal at Gatwick -- I would've made other arrangements so I wouldn't have been stuck with shitty options like what you find in most airports. But walking up to the host stand and reading the menu, my husband and I were intrigued. I loved that we were sat by the window wall. It had an crazy cool view of planes landing and taking off. Chairs are comfy and there's enough room for your hand luggage around you. I go the mini mezze plate and the salmon bruschetta, and he chose the schnitzel. Wow! I loved the mezze plate so much and the kale salad atop the bruschetta was AMAZING. Ernie very much enjoyed his schnitzel and I loved the bite I took. Our server was also super cool and friendly, and he loved it when we told him it was the best airport food we'd ever had. If you've got time to kill at Gatwick definitely check this place out!

Great breakfast joint at Gatwick! They had a nice selection of breakfast entrees, as well as healthy options available. Our server was assertive and fast. Upon being seated he asked if we had a flight to catch so he could keep track of timing. Since we had a 2 hour layover we could take out time. The tables, with booths, also had power outlets and they offered free wifi. Great addition! For my meal, I got the Woodstock breakfast, which included roasted tomatoes, hummus, avocado, poached eggs with wedged potatoes. I also got a side of toast that I put my avocado, hummus and egg on. It was very tasty and satisfying. They also had an avocado toast with olive oil and pepper, which sounded amazing. Maybe next time I'm in London I'll get it!

I had spent the night at Caffè Nero in the departure area before security. Luckily that was open 24/7. Surprisingly though, there was no wi-fi. Don't all Caffè Nero have wi-fi now? I had never been to one but they certainly had the nicest looking sandwiches by far so I gave it a shot. I took a ciabatta with ham, mustard, cheese and dried tomato. I also ordered a hot chocolate. The toasted ciabatta was brought to me quite quick and I was happy to get a delicious breakfast. The hot chocolate was amazing. I don't actually know how to describe it but it was basically pure chocolate. Perfect! What I liked particularly about Apostrophe was the fact that they have jams on the tables, ketchup, mustard, pepper ... and lemon water for everyone to take. It was also fresh and delicious. This little extra allows me give Apostrophe five stars. Hardly any high street brand has such good food, drink and also some free extra treats around.

We ordered the English breakfast of various sizes (they have small, standard and large), and we all found the sausage and beans to be bland. I got the Pesto, Mozzarella and Tomato Sandwich with Fries and a side of garlic bread. The sandwich was pretty bland - the pesto didn't have much taste and the cheese was also pretty subpar. The bread was not as crispy as it should be in a panini-style sandwich. All of this made it really tough to finish the sandwich. The fries were also not great. I saw that my friend got very crispy fries so I was excited but mine ended up being pretty soggy and got cold pretty quickly. The best part of the meal was the side of garlic bread - it was crispy and easy to chew but full of flavor. Unfortunately, though, it did not come with any marinara sauce on the side so I had to make do with a spontaneous mix of ketchup and mayonnaise. I guess if you're desparately hungry in an airport come here, but other than that you can find other places.
