When I walked in the door, I knew better, but I was hungry and needed a change from the fast food that populates the depressed Emporia, VA. Area. Floor, tables, chairs dirty, half the space was being used for storage of equipment that was once a buffet. A table had little plastic forks (unwrapped) for the public to grub out the utensil with their dirty hands.. beside the forks were boxes of condiments- once again, for the public to dip their dirty hands in. I'm quite sure this is the worst Chinese restaurant/ food I have attempted to consume. Wonton soup was very yellow with giant yellow egg dumplings with a little sliver of mystery meat inside. "Fried "Spring Rolls" were undercooked and bland as book glue. There was only a hint of filling - terrible. Never. Again. Gawdomitey. One star doesn't do it justice. read more

I've heard so many negative things about this place, the management, the food etc. I went earlier today and ordered sesame chicken with vegetable rice and egg rolls. I give the egg rolls a 3.8/5, it was good just not crispy enough. I'll know next time to ask them to make it crispier but it was a good egg roll, no complaints about the flavor. They also have condiments you can just grab once you get your food. The rice was good, not much seasoning on it which I did not mind because I don't need a lot of salt to enjoy and once you put soy sauce on it; it'll add salt to it. The chicken was great, it was tender, flavorful and hot! They served me fast, I was only there for atleast max 10 minutes and it was ready. I was shocked how fast it came out because I just put in my order lol. The ambience was good, it was pretty quiet which I love when I go to a restaurant. Also they have a menu on the counter and they won't rush you if it's your first time there or if you just want to try something new. I would've taken a picture of it but I haven't ate all day, so this was my dinner after a long day at work. I give the restaurant a 5 stars because I didn't think their food would be good. I haven't had Chinese food in a year or so and it was nice to have a tasty meal I will be coming again read more

Don't do it. Chicken all breading and mushy. Rice no flavor. $50 dollars for 2 entrees, pork fried rice and crab Rangoon that the dogs weren't even excited to eat. read more

Not bad for a little place. Ambiance typical cheap chairs and dirty tables. But food was good tasting. I had moo goo gai pan & hubby spicey chicken something. I think they forgot to make it spicy tho he said! We were full tho when we left. Lots of customers came in and got food to go. So that was a blessing. read more

This here is your basic Chinese take out. They offer a buffet Mon-Fri 11:30a-2pm for $6.99...went in on a Tuesday and was told because of the Easter holiday there was no buffet (huh?!) ... The young guy (maybe 20's) was pretty rude to myself and the girl with me. Also, they do not have spring rolls. It's emporia, VA, so I have low expectations of what's around, but this is still ridiculous. read more

This is mu first ever review. The staff member at the register was not friendly at all. I ordered General Tso chicken. It was hard, drenched in sauce and had tiny pieces of "meat" in a clump of batter. I would not recommend eating there and I will never eat there again. read more

Wongly Charged! This place overcharged me for my order. When I ask to have it corrected they never backed out my old charge and charged me a second time onto my card (first charge 27.00 than a second charge which was the correct one at 20.00 than to top it off I got no egg roll with my order and no fortune cookies . I called the business the following day (today) asked for them to cancel the first charge and they refused. Now I have to go to the bank personally to fill out a fraud report to have the charge removed. I wonder if this is a common practice to scam innocent travelers not paying attention to there total bill. read more

Slow, cold, and wrong order There is s reason that others rate this as one star. As for cheap Chinese food, the quality is medium to poor. The service is horrible. I ordered them 5 other people ordered before she placed my order in. I received my order after the other 5. The cooked broccoli was ice cold. Should've read the previous review before walking in. Absolutely horrible. And horribly overpriced. Even after spending about $15 on one dish, the guy behind the counter refused to put a squirt of the sri racha sauce on it insisting it was for something else. Really? Chinese is my "go to" while traveling on business. Yeas, the service is a little slow but the food was very good!

Food are expensive and is not very good. Charged us 12.8% tax. Attitude isn't very good.

It's funny how i haven't used my debit card in a while then use it at this establishment, and within 24 hours have hundreds of dollars in false charges to my card. Thank you Chinese con man. read more
