In more recent years the restaurant has been purchased by an Indian family, so the restaurant has combined both Indian and Italian cuisine. In my opinion, this is a little gem that seems to have been largely overlooked. This is some of the best Indian food you will ever get the chance to eat. Can't say I've had a pizza there in years (in the old days they made the best vegetarian pizzas with all seasonal vegetables)- but if you want good Indian, this is the place to go. I've introduced several people to this restaurant now & they have all loved it and will continue to come back. The interior is a little unusual and could use a touch up- it's definitely not fine dining but then there's not really anywhere in Wonthaggi that is- but if you like Indian cuisine, do yourself a favour and check this place out- you won't be disappointed.

Ordered a mixed berry and banana smoothie for $7, service was friendly and prompt, and the verandah seating out front was a comfortable area to relax in after a long walk. Granted the view wasnt spectacular (you're facing the highway), but the beaches are just beyond the road. If you prefer more quiet surrounds, the tranquil courtyard at the back has more shade and feels more homey. And of course inside, there is plenty of seating among the gifts and clothes for sale (it is a general store as well). Considering there are only 2 options to eat here (this and the pub next door) I'm glad that they have put their best foot forward in customer service and offer a cozy, welcoming ambience to those travelling from afar.
