My parents saw the wedding photos and videos last week, and they noticed all the flaws here and there, and also saw some sadness on my face in some of the photos. They asked me why. I told them the whole nightmare of working with Anise, and how she stepped on my dress, teared my veil, and was always in front the camera on many important moments where she was supposed to hide, such as walking down the aisle, cutting the cake, etc. My parents were so upset hearing these stories, and they wanted me to add this review - because it is impossible to make up these regrets on the once-in-a-lifetime wedding day. Hiring Anise as the wedding planner of my wedding was probably the worst decision I have made for the wedding planning. She branded herself as "Wedding Planner" but she is more of a bad "Wedding Day Coordinator" who does NOT even provide a thorough wedding day timeline. The whole planning process working with Anise was a nightmare. We were planning a destination wedding and was hoping that finding a local vendor like Anise could be helpful. We picked her because her price was more affordable and she communicated well in the first couple of interactions. - Anise is NOT a professional wedding planner and is UNORGANIZED. For example, she did not provide any to-do-list with timelines until I asked her multiple times. She is also very slow on emails, and sometime we don't hear from her until weeks later. She was NEVER prepared for our calls. I remember it was three months before the wedding and we still heard any plans from Anise on decorations and vendor communication. Eventually I spent weeks to put together an excel of thorough wedding decorations list myself, and then spent 3 hours with her on a zoom call walking her through the things that I think she should be doing. After the call I heard little updates from her until I set up another call with her. There were multiple times during the process I was thinking about firing her and finding someone else. I didn't but in retro I really should have found someone else as early as possible. - I was expecting the wedding planner to coordinate the vendors as we get closer to the wedding date, but Anise has never spoken with my vendors at all. I had to schedule calls with the vendors myself and invited Anise to them, but she never showed up to any. Eventually two weeks before the wedding, Anise still had zero clues of the wedding day timeline. I had to put together a timeline myself and sent it to all my vendors. Till that point, I had given up on having Anise doing any planning, but still hoped she could do a better job coordinating the wedding day. - I was shocked when Anise ask me to give her a tour of the venue the day before the wedding day. Apparently as a planner, she has never visited the venue. She doesn't even know where the ceremony is going to be nor the reception dinner, not even where the guests are supposed to park. - The wedding day was the real nightmare having Anise there. She was supposed to make sure the ceremony venue was decorated the way I wanted. However, the flowers on the arch looked nowhere closer to what I was looking for. By the time I saw it, it was already too late to make any changes. The flowers on my bouquet were 30% dead before the start of the ceremony. Again, it was too late to change it then. This is something that the professional planner should have planned for. If I had known it, I would have had a backup bouquet. We had to wait and look for family members when taking formal photos, while Anise completely disappeared and didn't help to coordinate at all. That was just the start of the nightmare. - The ceremony started. Anise offered to help me organize my dress before walking up the aisle. She was still holding my dress and walking with me while I was already walking to the aisle, and stepped on my veil once (and teared it, but I didn't know then until long after), and stepped on my dress twice while I was walking!! I should have turned around and asked her to stop and put down the dress immediately. That was probably the most regret of the wedding. As a planner, she has NO RIGHT to walk me to the aisle nor hold my dress - that's the job of my bridesmaids or flower girls. she is a planner who is supposed to hide then! Not to mention she stepped into my veil and dress three times!! It was so terrible. I received the photos last week, there was very few photos of me walking down the aisle, because she was in front of the camera the whole time. And my face expression was awkward in these photos too, because as a bride I was shocked having a random planner stepping into my veil and dress as I walk down the aisle. - The nightmare continued. She gave me her number and even made sure I was comfortable with the contract etc. She answered all my questions and seemed very lovely. So I hired her to plan my "covid" wedding. Which was a quick replan after I had to cancel all the hard work I had done in the past year. I now had to pull this together in 3 months. Originally I was just going to DIY because I had the time and drive to do so. But she assured me it would be amazing and she was dedicated to making this wedding happen. She told me that she needed all the money upfront to gather the supplies. Normally I would not agree to this, but she had glowing thumbtack reviews and up to this point I felt she was honest and sincere. However, after I paid her I NEVER saw designs. The only reason I received a quick *hand-drawn* design at any point over the three months was because I told her how upset I was that she kept ignoring my texts and ignoring me asking for her design plans. I told her I wanted my money back and she quickly changed her tune and was very text responsive. She assured me as she had every other time that she would get me the designs "very soon". I repeatedly would very kindly text her and ask for the designs. 2 Months past and my wedding was less than a month away and I still had nothing to show for it. She assured me she was on top of it and was just waiting for the last of the materials (none of which I ever saw) and then would ghost me again for a while. You can imagine how much stress this put on me as a bride. To be honest the only reason I was so stressed the final week before my wedding and could barely enjoy it was because of my "wedding decorator/ planner" Cut to the 11 days or so before my wedding when I got upset (rightfully so) again. I told her we needed to have a call and talk about the wedding. We booked a call. She cancelled the call. Then said she would just drive here because then she could see the space and assured us she'd be here that weekend. Never heard back about when. The next week rolls in and I text her 3 times or so being ghosted. Finally she got back to me and said she was planning to come, but wasn't feeling well. ( but apparently no one could let us know that) She said she was in the hospital, but told me not to freak out yet (11 days til my wedding) and then 1-2 days later texted me back after me sending another ghosted reply and told me she had covid and couldn't do the wedding, but she would refund me. I was very sympathetic and obviously wanted her not to be worried about us (though I was freaking out) and leading up to her being diagnosed had even offered to set the backyard decor up myself. I kindly asked her if she could have her husband drop off the decorations she had purchased with MY MONEY! But she ignored that and then as stated told me she had covid and would refund me. Which to me seems fishy that I never got my decorations. So cut to now, almost two weeks AFTER my wedding, still no refund. 4 texts later and still being ghosted. I feel there is no excuse for this and it was not a small sum of money. At this point my husband and I are going to have to consider legal action. Brides, do yourself a favor and avoid even considering using this company.

She emailed with my vendors also the week prior to my wedding for last minute planning and coordination, which took so much weight off my shoulders.
