My one complaint is that the events are so popular that you have to watch the website and sign up immediately when something comes up that you are interested in. There is a food box outside the library. Inside, snacks are always available for the young ones. I use the website to request books that aren't available in house and the process is smooth. The checkout and book return is up-to-date and easy to use. The library staff is helpful and friendly. I love the large magazine section. A lot of libraries I have been to in the past have stopped having magazines available. I'm old school and love to hold and read a magazine. There is ample comfortable seating.

I'd love to see a poll out for our Miamisburg community each season to see what works around school and sports. I also find that a lot of the cool library programs are ran at libraries in the north vs anywhere close to home. It seems like the library staff doesn't really want to host events for families in their area.

The DML Miamisburg Branch is a quiet little library somewhat off the beaten path. Group spaces include two quads with space for up to 4 people, two group rooms for up to 8 people, one conference room for up to 10 people and a community room for up to 45 people. They also have a quiet reading room with two 4-person tables and several reading chairs. My first time visiting I had trouble finding where to park, as there is not a lot attached to the building. The Miamisburg Board of Education building is directly north of the library and has some parking on its' south end, but I wasn't sure if library patrons were allowed to park there. I drove around the block and ended up parking in a street spot on 6th St. Once inside, I learned the lot used for the library is actually across 6th St, just northeast of the library. Although, signs for this would have been helpful. Overall though, another great DML branch!

My younger daughter loves to hang out in the play area and color the printed color sheets. We also check out books weekly to read at bed time. It's always something for her to look forward to. For my older daughter, they always have the curtain books she looking for, wether it be for fun, or school related. Also, there selection of PG dvds is so great! They have so many news ones, they even offer movies that are currently in REDBOX still! They also have all your older classics. It's great for family movie night. There are two children's computers pre loaded with children games they are great for my pre schooler. They also offer free story time during the week, for different ages. This is the best little small town library! We go regularly to pick up books for the kids to read…read more There is a great variety of books available, considering how small the building is. And if we can't find what we need at the location, we just go online to the Greene County system to reserve items, and within a few days they are available for pick up. When the kids were little, we would walk over and participate in toddler story time - they are always friendly and welcoming. The staff is helpful but no-nonsense, just like you would expect a librarian to be. The library is in a neat old stone building - every time I walk in the front door, I can feel the history of Bellbrook. Every spring, the Garden Club does a great job with the landscaping and flowers out front. We love our community library!

Reservable spaces include a quad for up to 4 people, group room for up to 8 people, conference room for up to 10 people and large community room for up to 90 people. There's also a quiet reading area with two 4-person tables, two 2-person tables and some reading chairs. Most of these spaces are on the inner portion of the library, so they lack windows. Other than the reservable spaces, there's not a whole lot of other places to sit -- only two other larger tables, one of which is occupied by a community puzzle. Of note, it gets rather cold here so bring a jacket if you plan on staying a while!
