It's beautiful. The organization of fiction is nuts. I will say that. But they got it together on large print and it's now not near the floor where the visually impaired probably couldn't see it very well. But now there are these stupid, hard chairs with tables next to the door instead of soft chairs. These are fine for rooms. Nooks. Other areas. Where you need quiet to do stuff. But when I'm by the door, I'm waiting on someone. I imagine parents and other people are, too. It stinks as these chairs hurt my back and hips. I can't imagine with the traffic flow they're great for studying, either. I hope they rethink this structure. It's not person friendly. And it's such a nice place.

So I know the library isn't responsible for these things BUT the odds are pretty high that you can exit out the back, books in hand and walk directly out onto the cute little park with water features, statues and bridges and happen upon a farmer's market or a band playing or something else going on. That's happened to me several times by accident and I sat down to read feeling like Belle in Beauty and the Beast or something (You can probably google what days things are happening at the park if you don't want to leave it up to chance). If you're there when nothing's going on fear not! Out the back door there are benches and tables with overhanging vines and classical music piped through outdoor speakers they've kindly set up. You may be thinking, What?! Have I been transported to some fancy European park?! Nope, you're in Fairfield, but pack a picnic or some coffee and you sure can pretend because I've never seen anything like that at another library and I think it's amazing. Anyways, ahem, about the library: The best part is that all their items are free and they have a good and ever expanding collection of the newest and greatest books. You can check out books, DVDs, magazines, CDs, electronic books, books on CD and probably stuff I'm not even aware of. If you need to use a computer they have a large selection too and that is off to the side so they aren't blocking the books or anything like at other libraries. The kid's section is nice and separated from the adult's collection in a different room. It's adorable, has a good selection of materials, some educational toys in the middle, a separate staff member, and some tables to do fun things like draw and read. If you can't make it inside, for whatever reason, you can order your books ahead of time, the library will notify you when they are ready for pick up, and you can either pick them up inside at the counter OR use their convenient drive-thru window. The drive-thru is perfect if you are sick, short on time, you have an addiction to books and can't trust yourself to not check out EVERY BOOK that looks amazing (there should be a bookaholics anonymous), you have wailing infants or you just really enjoy the novelty of a drive-thru window at a library. Also!!! They always have some fun and free events going on. Lots for kids and babies but also for adults too. I happened to stumble upon their Fall kid's day and they had games, a hay ride around the park, a band, apple cider and free mini pumpkins to decorate. It was so cute and all the little kids loved it. Check on the website for future events, save your cash, feel rooted in the community and enjoy the library!

I'm so impressed with what you can make with their equipment. Nothing looks homemade and all of their staff is topnotch. So helpful and informative. If you haven't been there try it out. The rest of the library is amazing too. I don't have a need for one, but they have private rooms for quiet work. You'll never regret going.

The service was really nice. There are a lot of older books and not as many newer books. I did think that the sections were well organized and alphabetized so it made it easier to search through. Trains are long gone, but you are welcome to bring your own. High and low tables are also available in that area. In the summer, computers here are in high demand. Sometimes there is even a sign up sheet. Located off the 275, this is an easy branch to get to. There always seems to be an ample amount of parking. There is also a drive up drop-off slot for returns. Unless you are looking to make a right out of the parking lot, I suggest driving out the back. If you make a left, then another left at the stop sign, that will take you to a light. Make a left to get to the freeways.

I only said something today because clearly nobody ever does. & when I did complain, the worker stated they don't rally have a volume policy. Like what? You need to have something because this is a library after all & yelling like you have no sense is unacceptable. Step outside if you want to do all that. Our local librarian informed us that there were a few additional preferences still to come. She gave me a flyer, and highly recommended we check it out. The final preferences was at the Sharonville branch... on a Sunday. At first I though it was a misprint. Not only did we get to enjoy the preferences, we got to check out another branch. We interacted with two employees during our visit. The first directed us to the meeting room the preference was being held in. We were directed with a smile. Once in the meeting room, another librarian welcomed us, and informed us of upcoming library events. Along with the usual selection of books, this branch also has several meeting rooms. As any branch in the Cincinnati Public Library system, books may be transferred from any other branch to the branch of your choosing. The library is located next to the Sharonville Community Center, and across from a park.

Decent selection.. I get movies, books and audio books. Recent covid situation has caused some…read morechanges... you put things on hold and you can either go in to pick them up or call for them to bring it out. You cant walk around the library or get things off the shelves yourself. The low rating several reasons. I returned 6 dvds while they were still open but they still charged me late fees and when I called they didnt take fee off. It's in a shady part of town I have seen homeless around and in loitering around the lobby. I have seen drug deals happen outside and inside. They have security guy and cameras but one person can only do so much. they have BUGS. I had a movie and audio book on hold ... picked it up ... but decided to look at a few magazines. I only looked for 20 minutes. When I went to the counter to check out ... they opened the cases to make sure they had the disks inside ... out ran a cockroach the size of my thumb!!! THEY tried to blame me... asking if I had it in my purse or book bag. I didnt ... just their shelf and laid it in their chair while I looked at the magazines. They made it sound like it wasnt uncommon for their chairs to be infested. I will never sit in their chairs ... unless its plain plastic. No cloth chairs or anything with cushions...better safe than bug infested. I have personally seen they have roaches. They seemed to think they were attracted by the adhesive on the sticky note . I'm weirded out about bugs.
