A smaller showroom than their Miramar Road location, but the staff here are fantastic and Marni was patient and understood our needs perfectly. Nobody at Woodbridge is pushy or trying to sell anything. The products sell themselves. We ordered a new Mavin dining room table and chairs, which are being made and about 12 weeks out. This place does not sell cheap furniture that you can pick up the same day, but quality is worth the wait. Okay, this update is long overdue. I want to acknowledge Woodbridge for their follow through and personal, hand delivery of replacement door pull hardware. Have a little patience Christopher and give these folks a chance. Furniture logistics supply chain and the like... best to just relax and let Woodbridge handle it (instead of going to the manufacturer)...because they will. Hardware was hand delivered a couple of weeks after my original review (he even offered to install it on-the spot, but I figured I could manage that on my own). We met with a designer who promised to send us examples of tables and night stands by txt. After two days, I called and was told she was so busy but she'd send them that day. Instead of tables, she sent hundreds of chairs, one table and no nightstands. I asked her to refer me to one of her colleagues and she referred me to her manager who offered to give me manufactures that I could look at ... Honestly the WORST customer service ever! Buyer Beware! I purchased what I thought was a "lifetime" sectional from Woodbridge Interiors in 2017. It was very costly, almost $11,000. I can only imagine what the cost of that sofa is post covid. I contacted the extended warranty company within 3 years of purchase with complaints of the foam seat cushions breaking down and was told they were not covered by the extended warranty. In 2020 we moved that couch to our home out of state which is visited about 4 months out of the year. That translates to very little use of the sofa over the last 4 plus years. Fast forward to November of 2024. While shopping for a new sectional for our property here in San Diego, I visited the Woodbridge Interiors in Mission Valley. When I voiced my complaints/concerns about purchasing from Woodbridge again due to the cushion quality, I was told the cushions were warranted for a lifetime as long as the piece had not been reupholstered (which mine has not). I went back to the San Marcos location since I purchased it at that store and spoke with Helen, sent pictures, copies of receipts, etc. Long story short, after lots of back and forth I received a text today that normal wear and tear of the cushions is not covered when the written warranty I received from the Mission Valley manager clearly states the cushions are warranted for "resiliency ". I was offered the option to pay for replacing the cushions at my expense which would cost $250 per cushion plus shipping. The cushions are very deep and heavy so paying for shipping would be cost prohibitive. While my communication with the manager at the San Marcos store, Renee, was cordial, my recommendation would be to not purchase from this chain. They will not be receiving my business in the future. read more

Awful Customer Service. Ordered a piece of furniture in June. Marni the Store Manager placed my order. Never followed up when the item came in. I had to call around Labor Day to see if it was in! Then getting her to schedule my delivery was impossible. I called and spoke with Bill and he helped me schedule with YaYa( very nice). Finally, after repeated calls to the store (Marni) I finally have a delivery date. They have nice furniture, BUT I will never buy from this store again. Great service from Shelly Hill. She has a good design sense and is very helpful. She pays great attention to the dimensions of your room(s) and furniture groupings so that you don't wind up with furniture that is too large (crowds the room) or is visually overwhelming (something more subtle, but equally important). Willing to actually come to a home and consult, take measurements, etc. She also goes over invoices super-carefully so that every item # and charge is accurate -- especially important in this day and age when supply chain difficulties mean your furniture may not be built for several months or more. We walked into the business without knowing much about it and what made us a customer was the non pushy approach of Robert Collum. He was a great guide and advisor. Came to our house and made an appointment to show us his recommendations. After putting the order we saw that the date of delivery is six months out. We walked in looking around and noticed the prices were a little higher than what we wanted to spend, so we decided to walk out, and as we walked out an older blonde hair lady walks up to us asking what she can help us with. I explained to her exactly what I wanted with the price and she said were not gonna find that here and to go to "ikea or Jeromes"and also told us to "come back when you have more money". In my opinion I just think that's unprofessional and rude. Even if I had more money to spend I will definitely not bring my business here. Based on the reviews I have read about Woodbridge's furniture, clearly shows that their furniture quality does not match their price. If you do business here after reading this review, it'll be your own fault for your pending dissatisfaction. I apologize to all of the people who wrote and warned about, both the poor product and service of this place. On 7/7/18, I took delivery of a Fine Furniture table after three months of waiting. It wasn't the wait that was troubling. I've done the same for Ethan Allen purchases. The table came unfinished and there was a lack of attention to detail of the product. The real shock came when I called and voiced my concern with Michele, the store manager. Talking about falling upon deaf ears (no offense to the hearing impaired). She attempted to assure me that the best of furniture lacked such detail. When I asked if she would take my money without pictures of dead presidents on it, she said that wasn't the same thing. She then climbed on her high horse and sited 33 years of experience in the business, raising her voice all the while. She eventually hang up the phone on me and rode off into her sunset. Poor, absolutely poor phone etiquette. Bill, my salesperson, was a saint and a joy to work with. While we were working out the details on me spending another $4-5k on chairs, I can assure you that it will be a cold day in Hell before I step foot in this store again. How do I begin, this place is garbage. The service was beyond ridiculous walked in and immediately felt like we weren't welcome. Being younger then you're average recent homebuyer, I was greeted with the sense of "who wants to deal with the kids". Asked the sales associate why it's so hot inside and she proceeds to give me a terrible excuse as to why they couldn't afford their AC bill. As we walked out the lady sitting down at the computer said at the under her breath "we were better off going to living spaces". By all means I wouldn't leave a review solely based off service, but the selection was terrible. If you didn't come in ready to spend $5000+ on a couch then you aren't really finding anything. Over 30 distributors but not a single one had nice enough taste to be worth the amount they are asking. To put an end to this we walked into Living Space's and made a purchase. Terrible customer service and experience. This is a company that lies to its customers. They told us they would price match a piece of furniture, took our money and advised our order was processed. A day later we were called by the store manager saying they made a mistake and could not give us that piece of furniture at that price even after they took payment, raised invoices, confirmed order etc. So we raised a complaint to the general manager and he failed to even acknowledge the complaint and totally didn't even reply....they just don't care about making things right for its clients. We're not even talking of a huge difference in pricing which they should have honored since they've had made the mistake in the first place. Totally avoid them, totally untrustworthy and unprofessional. We even find the same piece of furniture elsewhere and it was 30% cheaper!!! read more

After searching for a new living room couch at numerous furniture stores, we walked into Woodbridge and discovered the joys of being able to order a custom-made couch. Designer Rosa helped us choose the right frame, and then spent a lot of time helping us pick out a fabric that would complement our living room colors and the other furniture. It looks perfect! Yes, it took a while for the couch to be built, shipped and delivered. But considering how long we plan on owning it (we had our last couch 15+ years), we didn't mind the wait. Compared to the prices for couches at other furniture stores, we were happy to pay a little extra to get exactly what we were looking for. read more

After stopping in during a recent visit to San Diego we ended up doing much of our final purchase arrangements by phone and email. Everything was done superbly and we were so happy they would deliver to us in Burbank as we had not found the bedroom set we wanted at any of the Burbank, Glendale or Pasadena stores. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The Customer service follow up is the WORST. They do nothing for you after they get the money. I disputed them with my credit card company and they were not truthful in their statements. I am now taking them to small claims court. The sales staff were great, but when the product arrives and is defective and the "fix" they try is only a very feeble attempt to get you to go away. Read other one star reviews and you will see there is no quality follow up...just excuses and no results. I would never buy there again, and for the prices they charge its a real rip-off. We bought our bedroom set here a couple of years ago and had a pretty pleasant experience. The sales staff was friendly and didn't hover over us, but were quick to answer all questions. When we had made our choices, the process of ordering and delivery was painless. In a few days we had our new bedroom set all set up and everything was handled professionally by the staff. This is the place to go if you don't mind waiting 3 months to get your couch. LITERALLY. My husband and I put a deposit on a couch in late January and received the couch three months later. What I am upset about is there lack of communication on the delay and when I called the customer service people did not seem to care. Nice sturdy furniture but it is overpriced in my opinion. They have a good warranty as they should for the price they charge. If you are looking for nice quality furniture and you don't mind paying double or triple or more then this is the place for you. Apparently I don't mind since I'm giving it 4 stars--lol. Never once did they call to keep us updated so finally my wife called and was told that two pieces of our bed set will be delivered in a week or so and the rest at the end of May.. Wtf... This was my first time shopping for good quality (read "non-cardboard") furniture for a small apartment. My initial concerns were about scale, style, and quality. I received lots of help from designer Lori. She was very attentive to my needs and gave useful instruction about furniture in general. I did not feel pressured. The quoted wait time for delivery was (up to) 5 weeks (my order came from out of state);I was told the warehouse dept would call me to arrange a suitable time and they did just that. I actually received my furniture in 2 weeks! The delivery men Tony and Ivan were on time, courteous, and extremely careful with the furniture; they were gentle with every piece. I wish I could give 4.5 stars because there were aspects of my experience that were really great! We ordered 3 Stickley pieces a couple of months ago from a talented but slightly flaky salesperson. I called last week to get an estimate on a delivery date as the holidays are approaching. Our original salesperson is no longer employed there and whomever I spoke with indicated that it looked like "something" was on back order but she took my number and said she would investigate and get back to me. The next day I called again and was told that Marnie was in charge of following up but she was with a customer and would get back to me. She returned my call not long after this, said that she had left a message with Stickley's office in NY and she would call as soon as she heard anything. The following day, I called and asked to speak with Marnie and was told that she had the next two days off. I expressed great frustration - all I wanted was to find out what exactly was on "back order" and what did it mean???? I remember a very knowledgeable salesperson named Chris when we first visited the store. He had also been the person to pick up several of my calls and it was to him that I directed my frustration. He said they were short staffed that day so he couldn't follow-up but the manager would call me the next day. About an hour later Chris called again - to say he had left a message with his very reliable contact at Stickley, but they were closed for the day. He assured me that he personally was going to take over this case. The next morning Chris called to say that one piece (a couch) would be a little late because these are crafted pieces but the chair and rocking chair would ship in a couple of days. He also said that he would "stay on it" and try to be the squeaky wheel that gets my couch in time for holiday gatherings. So...my takeaway...they've got some great furniture and lovely showroom. I have bought several items from Thomasville. My suggestion is stick to the wood pieces if you want satisfaction. Stay way from upholstered items such as chairs and sofas. Bought a couch and chair here and loved it because of the custom options and the fabrics. However the service after the sale has been really tremendous. The fabric used for our couch just happened to be defective, resulting in seam separation on all four cushions about 2 years after purchase. The protection plan we had doesn't cover that, so we worried we would be left without options. After we explained the problem to Michele (Woodbridge store manager), she took immediate ownership of the situation. Knowing the fabric was close to selling out, she reserved material even before knowing what the outcome of the situation would be. Then she worked with the fabric manufacturer and the protection plan people to replace all four covers for free, and send a technician out to put them on. Throughout the process she communicated with us every few days and was extremely pleasant and helpful. Her advocacy for us made all the difference and now we have our couch returned to new! Really love my Thomasville Bedroom Set, and this store gave a very good deal overall. I have bought Thomasville before, and it's beautiful furniture that lasts. I was sort of disappointed it's all made in China now instead of the U.S., but i guess that's just a sign of the times. Don't buy anything from here!!!! They do not guarantee their accessories or furniture. They are overpriced and will not negotiate like other Thomasvilles. I bought two vases there for $600.00 which I thought was pricey. However, the sales woman who was very friendly explained they were hand painted on this very expensive material. Within 6 months they were peeling and exposed cardboard. I took them back at 7 months and they refused to replace them or fix them. I also purchased a very expensive floor mirror and within 4 months the paint and screws were coming out. Again they refused to help. I bought furniture and accessories at other furniture stores and they have all replaced any defective items. I did end up purchasing some Thomasville furniture up in San Jose which they shipped for free to San Diego for half the price Thomasville San Diego tried to charge for the same bedroom set. Lastly with the exception of one sales woman I dealt with who made several attempts on my behalf, the management was rude and discourteous. read more
