I didn't go to school at BYU, but I did, over the years, see quite a few performances. I was back just a few months ago, and although it wasn't an artsy performance (it was a lecture) each step down those wings was trip down memory lane. It's still in about the same condition--so I imagine it's been remodeled at least once or twice. It's not a massive space, but it's big enough that you feel like you're really going to see a show. And the big doors are well-marked so you'll be sure to find the right row and right seat. The arts lift you up. I leave De Jong and I want to sprint. To run with the energy I feel from almost holding hands with poetry, and meaning, and all the promise of a night at the theater!

The various choir's are wonderful the event organized however are thus far incompetent. All…read moreadvertising said the doors would open at 6pm so that everyone could be seated for the 7pm performance with prelude at 6:30...they did not open the doors until 6:15-6:30. So here we are at 7pm withe the performance not yet started, jut the prelude. And they completely underestimated the size of the crowd that would turn out. They had blocked off two thirds of the seating with curtains; those have now been raised as people continue to enter.

Our only complaint is we feel some of the dances are inappropriate. (Our kids classes haven't had this) Our last concert had a few dances with very suggestive music and moves for very young girls. And their costumes are at times more revealing then they need to be (coming from someone who danced for 15 years)

There is still a feeling of intimacy and the great staff is still kind. The variety of shows to choose from their line-up gives you some musicals, comedy, and drama in one theater at such a fantastic price. The play, cast, crew, and gorgeous new facility did not disappoint. The seats were extremely comfortable and spacious, which isn't always the case at many Broadway theaters. From the entrance way to the stage, everything was planned out really well in look and feel with a lot of attention to detail to make the venue special. The play itself was outstanding. The cast and crew were amazing and the intimate feel of the theater size and seating made us feel like we were sitting on the 50 yard line (even though we were slightly up on the second floor). Overall, put this venue on your visit list, put this play, Patrick and the cast on your list as well. Bravo!

We (Davis County Library) hired VR Party Pros for an author/book release event (the book, Virtually…read moreMe, is about kids that attend a virtual reality school after the pandemic). We thought it would be a fun addition to the evening and it was! We had over 200 people (80% were under 18) and did the 2 station set up. Ty did a great job managing both stations, wait times were not an issue, and everone had a fun time! It was so much fun seeing what the players were doing on the tv sets and hearing their reactions as they played. Would definitely recommend them for an event.
