The staff here are incredible and genuinely care about each individual student. They know the families and take time to ensure that each child feels welcome, a sense of belonging, and that they are valued members of the school. All year I have felt as though the staff have wrapped their arms around our entire family, including grandparents who regularly pick up my child. Educationally, my child is well prepared for kindergarten and he has showed excitement about his learning. From weaving in daily routines that mimic that of a kindergarten classroom, teaching, foundational reading skills and math concepts, they create a learning space that is highly engaging and prepares children for elementary school. My kid was eager to share all that he was learning and proud of the work he brought home each day. Perhaps the greatest indicator of a successful preschool year was that my son regularly wanted to go to school. He showed disappointment on the weekend or when he didn't have an extended lunch buddy day. The fact that he loved school and his teachers were proof enough that this is an incredible school. This preschool has a true community feel and I couldn't be happier about the warm environment that my child spent a year in. I wish I had found this gem sooner and can't wait to have my youngest go there as soon as he is able to.

Prior to AIP I had my children in a co-op, but with more kids it was challenging to work in the classroom. My first draw to AIP with 3 kids 3 and under was that they have DRIVE THRU drop-off and pick-up, so I didn't need to get my other two kids out of the car. Now that my older 3 are in elementary I don't need this as much, but it still can be a great option (especially if I'm running 5-10 minutes late!) They have a lot of great enrichments across the year (these vary depending on what class you're in) field trips: pumpkin farm, farm, Kirkland Storybook Theater, Children's Museum, fire station, pond, as well as lots of incursions: bunnies, reptile man or lady, police officer, fire fighters, dentist and then of course mommy and muffins, daddy and donuts, Valentine, Easter, and harvest parties as well as an end-of year carnival in 4s and 5s classes. They also have a Christmas and end of year program. Note, this program only runs through May, this surprised me the first couple years, but they have offered a 2-3 week "summer camp" extention into June for those who want a longer year. My two oldest boys and my youngest will attend the 5s class which is a great option for children that need an extra year before kindergarten or are on the older end. They have a great balance of educational curriculum which addresses kindergarten readiness through zoophonics, writing their name, numbers and colors (again, based on age), daily art and lots of play (rotation of toys and sensory activities). They will meet with you in January to let you know how your student is doing, but they are very responsive if you have a concern or want to know more sooner. They either go outside or set up indoor movement play activity, this isn't an outdoor preschool so if it's a rainy day they won't necessarily go outside. They regularly post photos to their private Facebook group so you can see what's going on inside of the classroom. We love Arrowhead Inglemoor Preschool, it is has been a great fit for our family! Note: This is a preschool that runs out of Epiphany Lutheran Church and they will sing Christmas songs, and go to chapel once a month and learn a Bible story. If that is something that bothers you, this probably isn't the right preschool for you!

The Director Joanne, Assistant Director RJ, and Toddler Teachers Ms. Cami and Ms. Helen have been a God-send. They have and continuously uphold high standards, truly care about the wellbeing and education of your child, and are genuinely invested in having your family as a part of their community. It was a steep learning curve for myself, being anxious entrusting my treasure and heart to complete strangers, but through transparent communication and above and beyond efforts from the individuals above, trust and bonds were quickly built. The teachers are always focused on interacting with the children at their level and are so engaged during every moment of everyday. Both teachers put in so much time and effort, not only for the children, but also the classroom environment, so that the children truly get the best experience possible!! The consistency of attendance with the teachers are also outstanding and rare for the field!! As a first-time…read moremom returning to work, I was incredibly nervous about putting my baby in daycare at around 3 months old, but the team here made the transition so much easier. From the very beginning, the environment has felt warm, welcoming, and supportive. The teachers and admin staff are so kind and caring, and it's clear they truly love what they do. They always take a few minutes to chat during drop-off and pick-up, which makes me feel connected and reassured about how my little one's day is going. The staff always rave about my little one and how cute and wonderful they are. Warms my heart. One of my favorite things is receiving pictures throughout the day. It's so comforting to see my little one smiling, playing, and being well cared for while I'm at work. I also really appreciate how the teachers partner with parents and share Montessori activities we can try at home. It's been so special to learn simple ways to support my child's development and continue some of the same learning and exploration outside of school. I'm so grateful for the care and attention the staff provides, and it has given me such peace of mind knowing my baby is in such good hands. In some ways we wish we would have kept her in through the primary grade. Our experience was so positive. She needed extra care and nurturing in the infant room. She just wasn't the kind of baby you could easily hand off to others, but the teachers in the infant room held her constantly and really went out of their way to help her to settle in. They would even hold her while she slept which was amazing. She progressed through each class really well thanks to the care, kindness, expertise and nurturing of the teachers. What we really loved was that they could accommodate the individual needs of our child in a way that helped her to make friends, while growing her skills and confidence. The focus on, kindness, life-skills and academics is perfect. Now that we've moved on to a public school we truly see the value of the school. Our daughter is reading more than a grade level above her class and doing math that is a grade level ahead of her class. She is testing higher in nearly every academic area than her peers. We feel we owe much of this to the work of the countryside teachers who were so dedicated to her. We recommend Countryside to any friends looking for schools.

You can also choose a longer day of 9-3, and/or before and after care which would cover a full work day. They follow the LWSD school district calendar, for the most part, and also offer summer camps. They have an amazing outdoor space where my son loved to play with trucks, roll balls down the ball ramp, and go down the slide. The indoor space has lots of experiences including water table, art, blocks, dramatic play and lots of great toys that rotate in and out each month. At BFCP my son had his first time drinking out of a cup and eating sitting in a real chair at a table! The parent ed component is kind of an educational support group, with new topics each week prepared by Teacher Jamie along with a lot of sharing of experiences and ideas. If your kid is comfortable playing on their own, you even get a break and a cup of coffee while other parents help keep an eye on the kids! We're really looking forward to being in the Toddlers class this year!

The current teachers there were the teachers that were there with my son and at the end he complained of Ms. Reshu constantly yelling at him for not following directions but letting the children have so much alone time private areas are being involved between 5+ children.
