But, it is a quality product, and usually has a market, bathroom, well-maintained pumps, clean, and a car wash -- this location has all of that (and a bag on chips). I live very close to this station, and I gotta say that it is one of the most expensive places in the county to get gas. The people there are nice most of the time and the place is clean, but, I NEVER get gas there. I only buy Chevron gas, but this location and the others that this franchise owner owns is typically 30 to 50 cents higher per gallon than other Chevron stations. Chevron in Atascadero is around 30 cents cheaper, Chevron in Arroyo Grande is 40 to 50 cents cheaper per gallon. Most of the prices at this Chevron here in Paso are a lot higher then right down the road. If your gonna get gas, I would make sure you go to the Chevrons in Atascadero or a little south of there. Used a pump only to find it is broken. Pressed the help button, no one came. Went inside, two employee standing there. Told them it is broken and get asked what the pump is doing, so I explained. One said it's been doing that all day, so I replied "that means it's broken." The other employee said it had also been having card reader issues, which explained why I had to run my card in it twice. I asked if they could give me the 20 cent discount from my Vons points on another pump and they said no. Really? So they knew the pump was broken all day and didn't cover it and I wasted a lot of time on it only to also waste my reward points. This is the WORST gas station!! None of their pumps work. They shut off every 2 seconds and you gave to end up holding the pump in juuuuuust the right spot to get gas to pump. Maintain your pumps!! I'm never coming here again!! read more

Love the staff, they are always helpful! The carwash needs a little work! Always getting caught in there without the dryer coming on. And I know about the sensor... (you can't move even a little or it triggers something or other that stops the process.) But I know that, so I put my car in park and it still does it! I hadn't been there for over a year so recently gave them another chance and it did it again! Luckily I wasn't in a hurry. They will let you go though again but if you are in a rush it kind of sucks though they are so nice about it... I'd like to give them 5 stars for customer service but their gas prices are way up there so just couldn't. I was pretty surprised that anyone was filling up when nearby there were better prices. I almost filled up to get the $2 off the carwash deal but it was cheaper to just buy the full price carwash there and my gas somewhere else. read more

Great Gas at a fair price. Woodland Chevron does a great job at keeping there prices in line with thier competitor across the street(ARCO). One huge plus these days is soap in the water to clean your windshield. I know this does not seem like a big deal but these days costumer service is huge. Great job. read more

My husband and I had to spend last Saturday in the car. We left the Bay Area early afternoon, fought traffic down the 101 and finally arrived in Paso Robles around 3:30. He needed to find a place to live down there for work. When I first looked up Paso on the map I saw it was close(ish) to the beach and hoped a nice cool breezy town would greet us at our destination. However, it was 112 on arrival. We needed gas and stopped at this Chevron. Turning off the car (and A/C) to pump the gas was torture. But the entrance to Chevron had a misting machine built in. Uh oh, so that means it's not the first time it's been really hot here.... But at least I know a cool place to hang out! We only needed to go inside to fill up my reuseable water bottle with ice. The employee was very nice and friendly and said we could fill the bottle with ice and cold water also. Really, really nice guy. It was a good welcome to the town that I'm going to be seeing a lot more of. Gas was a lot more expensive than the place across the street, but that was an Arco/AMPM and they're cash only. Plus, I like Chevron better anyhow. They always seem to hire nice people and have good food marts :) And dont forget the misting machine!! This is a great place for gas and snacks at a reasonable price. The staff is very courteous and they always seem to be in a good mood. Car wash sucks! The blow dryer never works, this is the second time I've come in 3 months and still same issue. And the cashier wants to make up a lame excuse to say you put your car in drive too quick is why it won't work. I've watched multiple people come out with soaking wet cars. Unacceptable!! read more

We are you're working from out of town and used the restroom and got coffee in the morning. Early morning the cashier was very friendly . mid-morning 10 a.m. went to use the restroom and get cigarettes again and was not given the the price that was on the board and I wasalso treated rudely because of needing the bathroom. Bad service today. I went in to get car wash from previous gas purchase (the car wash was broken the first time). I was told by attendant that I should bring back the receipt to get $2.00 discount on car wash. When I did go back in I was refused the discount I was promised . This attendant said he had initialed receipts that would get discounted and because there were no initials on the receipt he would not honor the discount. He treated me as if I was a liar and I find that to be disrespectful. I'll not buy gas or car washes at this station again. read more

Old guy who works here "Matt" is very terse and rude. Is sarcastic and always seems like he wants to be somewhere else. A real eye-roller as far as customer service is concerned.
