I have extremely low expectations of anything customer service related when it comes to gas stations especially 24/7 gas stations that are open on Christmas. I am only writing this review because the employee that worked the cash register was just amazing at customer service. I actually drove home and thought to myself "Wow, people need to know that that guy kicked Christmas service butt and made 7-Eleven look great". Obviously, long line that didn't really have an ending point. So 2 lines formed at 2 cash registers with 1 person working and he worked BOTH cash registers so flawlessly with what looked like little effort (but we all know the struggle was real) and managed to make those 2 lines disappear almost as quickly as it began. He was on top of it. He was working 2 cash registers, churning out hot pizzas and making certain everyone was leaving with what they needed. He did all of this with a friendly smile. Would I come back? Easily. I'm impressed. My quick trip for soda was exactly that: quick. Thanks guy. You rock at your job and you make 7-Eleven look like a great place for me to get gas when I need it. read more

Nasty bathroom- No soap, no toilet paper, no light, and the diaper changing station was torn apart. The market inside was unorganized and overall unhygienic. read more

For this review, I gotta give a shout out to Charley C. He's like Yelp's Lewis & Clark of the California Central Coast. He's got more reviews of places between SF & LA than many Yelpers have altogether. That's how I found this 7-Eleven. Sometimes, especially while traveling, you just need a quick & easy convenience store. Visiting Paso for a couple days, that was certainly my case. I checked Yelp. Sure enough, Charley C. got an FTR for a shiny new 7-Eleven near my hotel. Being new & in Paso, this 7-Eleven was nice, clean, well-lit & packed with everything you'd expect to find at a 7-Eleven. There's gas pumps too & gas prices were slightly lower than gas stations closer to the freeway. I got some gas, got some stuff & went on my way. That's what convenience stores are for. & I appreciate the convenience of easily finding this 7-Eleven thanks to Charley C's review. read more

Negative stars. The guy that works the counter at night is not only rude and lazy but can't be bothered to do his job. Extremely dismissive, disrespectful and dishonest. Do NOT order anything from here through DoorDash or UberEats. He either won't shop your order or it will be incorrect and will only hassle your delivery driver about it when they try to make it right for the customer. Awful place of "business". Me and my boyfriend came into your store at about 8:30 pm on 8/18/23 and purchased a few items where I was given the creepiest smile by the guy working there. Later, at approximately 9:10 pm we came back to buy a pizza. I saw my sister and her friend coming out of the public restroom. We left the store to go eat the pizza and came back (about 9:40 pm) because I had to use the restroom (which is open), i walk to the back and the worker doesn't know the code and says to ask the other one in the front... I asked the worker in the front and he starts grinning (in an extremely creepy way especially to me as a 15 year old), looked over at my boyfriend (who is waiting with friends because we were not planning on going to the bathroom together) and said, "not for you guys". So I asked the other worker, he did the same and said "no". I go back to my boyfriend and his friends and I said "they won't let me use the bathroom" to which my friend, who was there right before we got there replied "they literally just let me use it." I feel discriminated against and sexually degraded, I have never had any sexual intercourse with my boyfriend and I am appalled that I was denied the right to use the restroom (that everyone was using) because the workers her were insinuating we would. read more

Rude staff, always on his Bluetooth earpiece so you think he's talking to you, and then short-tempered if you don't conduct 80% of the transaction yourself as quietly as possible. Must be a family owned business that force their dropout kids to work here. read more

BEWARE: IF YOU PAY $20 FOR GAS HERE AND USE YOUR CREDIT CARD THEY WILL HOLD $100+ FUNDS ON YOUR DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD FOR 48 HOURS + I was so happy when I saw this 7-11 Going in and when I visited the first few times I was met by a pleasant young man who seemed so happy to be working there! There is a woman there now, that doesn't seem quite as happy... Oh well. I do like the convenience of the place, and it is a nice nice new facility. I've been over charged on a few occasions so I have learned to count my change. I would like to warn you all of one thing.... If you use a credit or debit card when purhasing gas... they'll put a hold on a big block of your funds. For instance, I purchased $19.75 and that evening when I was doing my banking on line, I noticed that my bank transactions said -$125! The extra hundred bucks rolled off almost 48 hours later, but what if I needed those funds? I'll tell you one thing, they put self serve payment at the pumps for our convenience and I have to say.. .that it is very inonvenient to have to go inside to pay in order to avoid my funds from being frozen! I will pay cash from now on "IF" I purchase gas there ever again. Crazy!! I haven't seen that friendly "loves his job guy" there lately... or perhaps the newness has worn off... or maybe someone stole him away.... Everyone I've gone in there the drinks section is filthy, there are boxes everywhere, the machines don't even work.

The Paso Robles 7-11store for whatever reason needs some help. 1)The coolers are limited on the selections of several brands of drinks but some have been just laying in disarray unmoved for several weeks now. I watch how the coolers are stocked and some parts are not touched at all, Maybe they are at the end of the supply chain but you can at least try to look professional and organized. 2) The sub sandwiches are always low on stock and expired mixed with current stock at times. They have several groups that come in for their supplies every morning about. I use to gas up at 4:30 to 5:00 AM 3 or more times a week and observe the the crowds before and after gassing. I now watch from across the street at Volarro in the morning. 3) I gave up on the Paso Robles 7-11 because of the store not the workers. 4) On a plus side yes the 1 person who works 3rd watch keeps busy and seems to be helpful. Always has an apology when people have to wait if he is cleaning. So give him credit for trying. 5) So my primary issue is stock if the shortages are from distributers something needs to change. I still shop at almost every 7-11 from SLO to Atascadero and thy don't seem to have this stock problem. Take it for what it is worth! read more

Went to get gas. Didn't feel like waiting at other stations and they weren't busy. Paid cash for gas. Get to pump about to start when I noticed cash price on sign 3.46 was not the price on the pump 3.54 I go in to ask the cashier about the difference. She didn't know and called someone to find out. She told me that "they" said the sale price was the pump price. I went there because I had cash. She asked if I wanted a refund and the gas across the street was 2 cents less. It was the credit price. The cash price was way less. I was tired and didn't feel like wasting gas going from one station to another. This is not the first time I've had issues with this store but, it will be the last. Gave them one star because the cashier was trying to help. NEVER AGAIN UNLESS I HEAR THEY HAVE THEIR ACT TOGETHER. read more

Worst place ever. Dirty, machines don't work, cups and lids not stocked rude and unconcerned staff. Had to wait 10-20 mins on a disappeared cashier, came all this way for an icee. The slurpees here are better than the wines at #EcluseVineyards, less sugary and have a lot more complexity! The Staff was also much more professional and amazing than those people at ecluse. I came here out of the way to get gas because it was cheaper than other places by about ten cents. They have a little Convenience store with a lot of random stuff inside. There was only one worker and always a big line. The foreign employee was rude to customers. The lady in front of me was paying for gas and buying a few things. He didn't seem to care about the customers. Before he even finished with her he asked if I had cash. I said yes and he told me to come to the other register. He completely ignored the customer he was helping. She had a shocked look on her face. I had went to get candy that any Mars products: snickers, twix, m&m, milky way, three musketeers. These were marked 2/$2. Along with Hershey products also being marked 2/$2. So we grabbed a few candy bars, he rang it up and I asked him why it was so much if the candy was supposed to be 2/$2. He said no it isn't. I told him there were advertisements saying that. He said no. I asked if he wanted me to take them down, I don't think he understood me. People behind me had saw the same sign. So I grabbed 3 of the plastic plaques saying 2/$2, putting them on the counter in front of him, telling him it was false advertisement. So the only thing other than gas was a slurpie which he overcharged me for that also. He charged me $1.89 for a small slurpie which should have been around $1.20. At that point I said screw it, this wasn't worth it, put $2 on the counter and was about to walk out. He said "wait you forgot your change" and I didn't say anything. There was people who were in line who also realized the guy was an idiot and overcharging so they got out of line putting items back. The bathroom was disgusting, as if it hadn't been cleaned in like a month. No shock this place has such bad reviews. Customers pay your income idiot. read more

Not the place to stop when you need to be anywhere within ten minutes..The Cashier SP moves at a snails pace Ive seen 8 people in line while he fiddles around with stuff. An it always seems right when you need to check out he miraculously find something to do to make you wait..They should stop hiring family an hire people that want to work an help people. read more

The facility itself was pretty decent. I am only writing this review because of the terrible customer service. I went there alone around midnight to pick up a few things for my sick husband. Everything was fine until all the other customers left and I found myself alone with the man working the register. He began asking me very personal questions like "are you married", "are you separated from your husband", and my favorite "can I have your number". I was clear with him that I felt these questions were inappropriate but he literally didn't stop until I was out the door. It's pretty unfortunate that in 2018 men still prey on women like this and choose to ignore a clear "no". He very clearly knew what he was doing was inappropriate because he waited until everyone else had left the store before he approached me. Hopefully this is an isolated incident, but I will definitely think twice before stepping foot alone inside a 7/11 ever again. read more

Just got ripped off by attendant! Gave the guy 45.00 to fill my tank and it stopped after 25$ went in to tell the guy and he insisted I only gave him 25$. I got cash from the store's ATM because the security tape was not on at the pump. Trying not to have credit card hacked and got ripped off anyway! Not even worth1 star read more

2 people in line in front of me. First person was buying the whole pizza and wing promo clearly advertised at the sales counter. When the cashier rung it up no discount was given. The guy buying it questioned this. The cashier responded "I'm only the employee. I have no control". The next person was buying 3 Reese's peanut butter cups. There was signage clearly saying if you buy 2 Reese's you get one free. Cashier rings it up... no promo given. The customer questions it. Same response "I'm only the employee. I have no control". Now I'm wondering if the 2 bottles of Fiji water I want to buy and are clearly signed at 2/$4 will actually ring up. I get to the register, the cashier rings them, no discount. I look at the cashier and say "I know. You are only the employee. You have no control. But, as the customer I do have control over where I shop and don't shop. I've decided against purchasing these". It's horrible that the owner runs his business this way and that 7-Eleven allows it. Not to mention that the store is dirty and disorganized. And 7-eleven allows it too.
