Super unimpressed. Today for the first time I went through the touchless car wash at Sun Day Atascadero, which is very short. It may have cleaned my car sufficiently, but it didn't rinse all the soap off or blow off the remaining water drops enough. I had soap suds on my side view mirror and water drops left all over my car that of course now have dried and left water spots. They also don't have enough vacuums and there were not any available so I had to leave without being able to vacuum my car as well. I usually go to Quiky Car Wash when I'm in SLO and it is way better than Sun Day car wash as far as actually rinsing the soap off your car fully and then blow drying it enough that you don't have a bunch of water spots left on your car. Plus they have a ton of vacuums. I've been going there for years and I've never not been able to find an open vacuum to use at different times of day and different days of the week there has never been a problem finding an available vacuum station to use. Even when I have gone to Qwiky and there been a few water drops here and there they have not left a watermark when they dry like they did at Sun Day touchless car wash, which I think has to do with the quality of water they are using in their touchless car wash. I feel like I pretty much wasted the $25 that I spent on the best Touchless Car Wash (highest level of service from their 3 options) they have. I probably will not be back unless I am desperate and have no other options but I go to SLO a lot for errands so I'll probably just stick with Quiky car wash. read more

I went here because it was closer to my house. Thinking it would be a good idea. Many cars and only 5 (maybe) spots to vacuum and clean your car. The same few people who appeared to almost be done before I went into the wash-- were still there when I got out. One was wiping a dry window again and again. So I left-- I just spend $20 for a 20 second pathetic wash and rinse and even more pathetic drying session. I'd rather go anywhere else. Waste of time and money. read more

Great friendly people!! Plenty of towels...clean bays...free air fresheners, dash wipes, ice cold water. Any issues you may have are taken care of immediately. The manager Desi is easy to deal with, she is very concerned about making sure you as a customer is taken care of. Sun Day Carwash is awesome. New ownership. Fast and easy sign up. They give you free cup and keychain with membership. There's even an express lane for members. Every time you get a microfiber towel, interior wipe, air freshener and sometimes a drink. The wash does an awesome job. Vacuum area is always clean and vacuum has good power. When you figure the top dog is $39 a month for unlimited, the value is there! *I just wish the dryers worked better, that's why it's not 5/5* read more

Best decision I made for my car. The staff is friendly and helpful in all their locations. Free items offered are cold canned flavored water, car interior wipes, scent tags, dog biscuits, towels, and even water bottles as a promotional gift. Easy in-and-out of the car wash and I'm back on the road with a shiny clean car again. Towels offered help to wipe up excess moisture. Complementary vacuums have strong suction and are simple to use. Sun Day Carwash is the Disneyland of drive-thru carwashes. They take care of their members like paying extra for lightining lane at Disneyland, but for the everyday, once in a while customer...plan on waiting. I went in the all customers lane with no one else present, had paid and thought it would be my turn. However, the attendant noticed someone pulling into the member lane and told me I would be after them. I totally get that you want people on the hook for a monthly bill, but at the expense of good customer service. When I asked for a refund because I was clearly in line well before the member he said, "that's not how it works" (hence the LL analogy). I didn't see a sign posted stating that "all customers" are less important that members and may have to wait if the attendant sees a member rolling in after you've paid-- maybe it's in the fine print on the website, but who reads that? Anyway, I won't be going back to Sun Day Car Wash unless I am in the mood to feel like a second class customer. read more

I just signed up for Sun Day Car Wash in Paso Robles; a friend recommended. My first experience was great!!! Very friendly young man was there to greet and explain how the process works. The guy in the tunnel was efficient and pre sprayed my car and cleaned dirty spots. Then I went through the machine. I ordered the 2nd option which included wax. They loan you a complimentary towel which was super absorbent and did the trick! The facility is clean and the vacumes work. Plenty of bays to accommodate a lot of cars; 13 I believe. This will be my go to carwash. read more

Sunday Car Wash is absolutely amazing service for their membership pricing! Upon arrival, you will be given package wipes for the car, a microfiber towel to wipe down your car, an air freshener, and even a refreshing drink, if you're thirsty! The attendant greeting you is absolutely friendly and helpful! One of the attendants, even gave our three kiddos snacks as she saw them helping out with cleaning our car!
