I have many large fillings that will need crowns. Because of the position of my teeth the only way to assure positive results would be to move these molars. The office rejected my wish to send my existing X-rays and pocket depth records when I called and made an appointment, requiring me to repeat testing that had already been done. The X-ray process took 40 minutes and was very painful which I am not used to in previous annual cleanings, but the hygienist was great and helped normalize that most patients say it's uncomfortable as well. She and the man who greeted me in-person at the front desk are the only reason this is not "0" stars. Dr. Attal showed little interest in my existing documentation or the urgency of my situation, which was very frustrating to me since I was experiencing pain. I was asked to schedule yet another separate appointment just to re-measure pocket depths already on file. Not every patient has the time or financial resources for repeated appointments and duplicate testing, especially when dealing with a painful gum condition requiring prompt treatment. I left feeling dismissed and no closer to the treatment I needed. I will now be driving 7 hours one way to see my previous dentist because Lalor was unwilling to provide the care I need. I would not recommend Dr. Attal to patients who come in with existing records or complex dental needs.

I've been going…read moreto dr Conti since I was a kid, and while his assistants do a decent job with the cleanings and dr Conti does ok with fillings, if you need anything more than that GO ELSEWHERE!! Over the summer I came in because a part of my tooth cracked and came off. I needed a root canal, my first one ever. I was nervous but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, although it did tick me off a little when I had a camera in my mouth while he was taking an x-ray and he forgot to put the led vest on me. maybe the radiation will enable me with superpowers I can use to take down bad dentists! 2 months after my root canal part of the filling from my tooth came out! WTF?! and since my tooth was nothing but a hollow shell it weakened it and small pieces come off every so often. today at work I was eating a granola bar and it somehow drew out a remaining part of the filling and now I can feel another hole in my tooth, it's awful. I haven't brushed in months because I'm afraid it will actually damage my tooth! seriously, you shouldn't be afraid to brush after going to a dentist! a family member of mine also had a bad experience here, he had a cap put on his tooth by dr Conti and it fell off within 6 months! one of Conti's assistants was getting on my nerves too. during my root canal she would crack jokes with him and it seemed very unprofessional, like it was business as usual and they didn't care about my well-being. a couple weeks later when I went back to pay my bill this same woman was there at the reception desk gossiping on the phone with a friend about going out drinking like she was in her early 20's (she was in her 40's). also, their hours aren't great if you're a workin man. They're open til 5 on monday and maybe tuesday, but then wed, thurs, and friday they close at 2 and they're closed on the weekends. Marusich might be a good dentist, I don't know, but don't let doctor Conti anywhere near your mouth, Marusich needs a new partner!

It's a patient-eccentric practice where great pains are taken to make sure the patient is as comfortable as possible. Just show up and they'll take care of the rest. Oddly, I look forward to appointments here because of all the pampering. The little details are what set this practice apart from the others. For example, during a procedure, I was given an eye shield so that particulate matter doesn't get in my eye; I was given headphones to listen to music of my choosing; I was given a hand mirror which I could use anytime I wanted to take a look to see exactly what was being done; the list goes on. If you want a pleasant experience in a clean and refreshing environment, Dr. Rouff and his staff are an excellent choice!
