He responded immediately to our inquiry for a tree service and was out looking at our trees within a day. He took down four giant trees in just over one day. He is an arborist so he will only take down trees that are diseased or a danger to your home. He is very ethical and doesn't pad the bill with unnecessary work. They worked in tight spaces, protected our lawn from their equipment, and left our property in excellent condition. He also does masonry work, landscaping, and snow-plowing. I would trust him to do any of those jobs. We've hired him to work on our foundation and are looking forward to seeing him soon. You'll never meet a more pleasant contractor.

The trees were LARGE, DEAD and in difficult to access areas with risk of damage to our home and a custom-built, small barn. Two other well known tree companies came to quote and were clearly not interested in this job. Paul did not hesitate and gave a very reasonable price compared to the others. We were in no particular rush to have these trees removed and due to two major, damaging storms in our area, we understood the priority of others in a much worse situation. Yolanda was a joy to deal with and kept my me updated every few weeks regarding what they were dealing with and where we stood on the list. The result was an open, neater landscape with a lot more sunshine and space for the long unused vegetable garden. He arrived when he said he would to review the work. As we walked around the property he listened to what I wanted, made very good suggestions for things I had not considered and gave me a feeling of confidence that he knew the subject matter. He and his team arrived precisely on time the day of the removal. They trimmed, cut and wood chipped all the trees in a very orderly fashion which made me feel the job was always under control. Originally gave me a quote, and provided me with his "insurance", but never called me back and hasn't returned my phone calls. I believe the insurance he provided was for lawn care, and wasn't designed to cover tree removal; and when I asked about this he stopped returning my calls. In our last conversation he implied he would have the insurance confirm it was for tree removal after the weekend on the first business day, but as it turns out, now he's ghosting me. Made me waste a week thinking I found a company to do the work I required. I could have spent that time looking for a company that could do the work. Basically multiple reviews for his former business echo this sentiment. This is why he renamed his business from Hillcrest to Hill.
