They have different casket samples and urns on display in their office for people to look out. But the part that made going to this service so much easier for us...they have a children's room. There are toys, books and even a table for them to sit at if they want a snack. I have never seen a funeral home with a designated play area for children.

I left messages twice ,and spoke to Donna Pratt twice. In my messages and in talking to her ,I indicated t hat I needed information and due to their limited hours , it would be easier for her to email the information to me. In our first conversation ,she promised the information to be sent by Monday11/9/2020, when it had not arrived by the end of that week ,I called again . Donna then promised me the information would be sent by Monday 11/16/2020. It is now 11/20/2020 and I Still have not received said information !!! I will be calling her YET again today and leaving a message ,since the office is closed on Fridays. If it were not for my mothers express wishes , I would be looking elsewhere . I will say that I have driven by the cemetery numerous times ,and it looks like a lovely, well maintained place to lay your loved ones to rest .However ,the customer service is awful !!

He explained to us how our steam radiators work and helped troubleshoot 2 radiators that weren't working and got them working correctly. Just don't go here. Had a sole replacement on high quality leather boots that were ruined by this…read morecobbler. The replacement sole was stiff as a board and much thicker than the original leather sole and didn't suit the style of the boots. What's worse is that the toe and heel of the boots now turned up and the only part of the sole that rested on a flat surface was the arch. The boots were unwearable. I accepted the demise of my boots and threw them out. There was no way he would have the experience to fix this mess. I swore never to go there again, but no I made the error of taking a very simple shoe buckle replacement there. It took four trips to the shop until the buckle was replaced that included spilled black paint on the tan shoes and a botched paint job covering the spill that didn't match the tan shoes. I kept thinking is this a joke? How does this guy stay in business but no all I see are glowing reviews. It just doesn't ad up.

The first was knee deep in conversation, as he answered all his questions, next was a pickup of something he'd finished, and one was a spontaneous "Can you fix this, I was right in the middle of ...", which he fixed in about 5 minutes with a part salvaged from another he kept for salvage purpose. Then there was me at the end of the line, it was 5 minutes past closing, with a mower someone else had deemed in need of major overhaul advising I buy a new one. In under 2 minutes, he'd tightened a cable, and the machine was running good as new. As someone else put it, "he saved me hundreds of dollars", and more importantly to me, hours upon hours of shopping for replacement, for no good reason.

I'm only giving it four stars because I haven't personally dealt with the curator or person in charge of booking gravesites plots etc. On any given morning I will walk by 3 to 5 different people doing the same thing that I'm doing my getting some fresh air and a little exercise in before work. I normally don't see anyone visiting actual gravesites while here but that doesn't matter people must come to visit there are flowers flags and different piece of memorabilia at some the different grave sites. If I don't go by here for a morning stroll there's another whole bunch of places to stop along my way in reviews for those locations will follow.

They cover every detail and do so with a genuine passion. They block off tricky intersections for the procession, handle the wake and viewing perfectly and are just the epitome of professionalism. Something as simple as getting a bottle of water for me when they noticed I was coughing at my grandmothers wake meant a lot to us. If the unfortunate does occur, I recommend their services whole heatedly.

He originally passed away in NC and had services there, but he is from this area, and wanted to be interred here with his wife. Having never planned anything to do with a funeral before, I was unsure how the process worked. I worked with Jennifer. She was very personable, professional and caring. I did not have to micro-manage her like I usually have to do in today's times when dealing with other businesses. Everything was taken care of perfectly and professionally. Today was the interment, and she took the time to talk to me afterwards. I didn't feel rushed through the process, which i really appreciated. I hope I never have to again, but realizing death is a natural part of life, I would certainly use the Dracut Funeral Home again for any services in the future. Such as calling ahead the owner of the restaurant to meet with me before they opened and calling them on the day of the funeral to ask them to set up a TV to play our slide show. We had a very detailed funeral with a wake viewing of the body, mass, veteran honors, bagpipes at funeral home & church and at later date cremation and another service at a national veterans cemetery down the Cape. He took great care in every single aspect!!! Also I must mention the Funeral Home itself is absolutely beautiful. The viewing room is a fresh and new addition with huge windows to let in the light. All the people who attended remarked on how nice it was!! Our Family is so pleased that we were able to have such a wonderful experience at the end for our loved one!!! It was all overgrown with grass, weeds and leaves. We spent our "visit" manicuring around their headstone. It's obvious that the graves in section 6 are being neglected. I have asked to to have me cremated when my time comes as I am so disgusted.

There is an older section of the cemetery that has some very nice, large monuments. In recent years, the cemetery has opened up new areas. If you are looking to purchase a plot, they appear to have some available. Family members are allowed to leave memorial items at their family grave sites and to plant bushes and flowers as well. Water spigots and hoses are located throughout the property making it easy to keep your plants watered. It's very nice to see grave site personalization. There is a small child's grave near our families plot. That family has chosen to leave toy cars and other items reflecting the child's interests and a memorial bench is nearby as well. Other graves have markers of wars fought, flags, and other items of interests the residents shared in life. It's very nice to see people there caring for their loved one's sites. The staff seem very personable, the grounds are pleasant and it's in a normally quiet area (except perhaps when the nearby fire apparatus are needed). What else can you really ask for in a final resting place?
