This year we decided to try a new place out in the country, and I couldn't be happier we did. I will say this, bring your hiking boots and a good saw! The cut-your-own trees are way up on a hill. The view from the hill is gorgeous, but getting the trees down is a little tricky. The family that owns this place are some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. They were so helpful, kind, and beautiful. It's something that is immeasurable in today's world, and it meant the world to our little family. They went out of their way to make a wreath for us with specific ornaments and ribbon, offered our kids free cocoa and cookies, and even let us play with their dogs. I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience we had. We will be back every year!!!
