I've had dry storage with Woods now for 4 summers. The Woods family is fantastic to work with. This is a family owned and operated marina, boat sales, and general store. I cannot recommend them any higher. I met Jerry Woods in 2013 when I had my first boat. We bought it from Jerry and Diana Woods. We met Eva in the store and the rest of the crew in the shop and other services. Hated to hear that Jerry passed away earlier this year. But they didn't skip a beat here with their services. I would do anything for this family since they take such good care of my family while we are out at the lake. A They have a food truck throughout the summer for food services while you're out having fun on the water. This is EXACTLY how businesses should be run. read more

lied multiple times to me then wouldnt even show me the price for the parts they paid after they burnt out my wiring harness and trashed my engine. stay far far away unless you want to pay $1800 for someone to ruin an engine and then say "you can try to find the part in a junkyard". read more

The buying process was great. When there were several things wrong with the brand new boat when we got it home, the customer service not so much. Yes, they had us take the boat and they said they fixed it. They fixed about 1/2 of the things and the other 1/2 they acted like they tried to cover it up and say they fixed it. We paid to have them clean the boat-when we got it back, it had a lot of mildew (which wasn't there when we brought it to them) and the pontoons looked like they only had a garden hose taken to it. Total rip off. If you buy a boat there, they have decent prices but don't expect the same service if you need something else after the sell. read more

Great marina on Logan Martin. Food, beverages, fishing stuff, boat stuff. They also provide docks, boat launch, gas, sales and service for boats. The gas prices are high but everyone on the lake is. They may not always have the part you need but they can get it. They work really fast and if they have parts they get you back on the water fast. My wife and I were recently in the market for a new Bennington pontoon boat. We met Mark, one of the owners, at a boat show. Because Bennington offers so many lines of boats, there were options that we wanted that were not available on certain models, and options we would never use on other models. Mark suggested we just order a boat, and have it built with the options we wanted. Mark, his wife Eva, and mother in law Diana (wonderful lady)met me at the marina on their day off, and we were able to order the color, engine, and options that fit our needs, and budget. We were given a delivery date. Our boat arrived a week ahead of schedule. I was not prepared to pick it up, and Mark offered to store it for a couple of weeks at no charge. When I did pick it up, Mark, his wife, mother in law, and son were waiting for me. Three generations!! All details and operating procedures about the boat were explained to me. The registration numbers were already on the boat (which Diana had called and asked for), and the tank was full of gas. Mark had also placed a stainless steel flag pole with an American flag on the back deck, as I had mentioned to him that I was a Desert Storm Vet. This is a very family oriented business, with a great atmosphere, and just really good down to earth people. If you are in the market for a boat, I would highly recommend Woods Surfside Marina !! read more
