I'm from Las Vegas, Nevada. Out here, we really only have a couple boat dealerships, and they…read moreup-charge the heck out of their boats. My fiancé and I took to looking for a used boat online, and stumbled upon our boat now: a 2014 Axis A24 wakeboarding boat. We came into contact with Casey Britt, who works there, just to ask some questions about the boat, etc. Casey was more than helpful: took photos and videos of the boat, sent them to us, and took our calls whenever we wanted to ask more questions. I'd say that his customer service was a very big part of why we ended up buying a boat, even this boat specifically (keep in mind, this was a 55k purchase and I HAD NEVER EVEN SEEN THE BOAT!). Being in law enforcement, I would have never felt comfortable enough doing this if it wasn't for Casey. Upon purchase of the boat, Casey had it washed, checked, and set for shipment. We got it out here a few days later and it was just as good as Casey had described. He had been truthful about some minor cosmetic issues, and honest about the condition of the boat in its entirety. When it came to having all of the documents to title and register the boat (from AL to NV), this was a nightmare through our DMV and Dept. of Wildlife.. but Casey had our back once again and made even dealing with different, taxing (literally) government agencies that much more simple. I'd absolutely recommend buying a boat from this dealership and through Casey specifically. He was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and timely. I'm rarely satisfied with customer service and am usually left disappointed or annoyed.. but Casey and Skiers Marine set a new standard in service and attitude that is unmatched in sales.

Buck's Island really pleased us with a great pontoon and trailer at a wonderful price.More than…read morethat they proved what a quality place they really are.We drove from Indianapolis area all the way to Buck's Island because they had an 8 year old pontoon with only 267 hours with a 90 HP Mercury and a trailer all in excellent condition for only$16,999.We went on a 20 minute test drive and everything checked out.On the way home we stopped in Kentucky to fill the boat gas tank.Upon launching it ran for a couple of minutes, then died and wouldn't start.I called Patrick, our salesman, who got a mechanic to walk me through a few things ,it would crank but not start.Patrick assured me everything would be OK.We took it to a local marina(A and E Marine)who found water and sediment in the fuel. The entire fuel system needed a flush plus a fuel module to the tune of $2100.Without hesitation Buck's Island paid the bill.Hours later it is perfect.I am so impressed with how they stood behind their 30 day engine warranty on an 8 year old boat. They could have tried to squirm out of their responsibility by blaming the fuel I put in but didn't. Apparently the boat must have been sitting and the better fuel was a level in the tank when we test drove and the contaminated fuel wasn't apparent until it got stirred up.Buck's Island also had performed a 300 hour service before we left. They stood behind what they sold.I will drive there again when I need another boat .Mark Hanna.

We drove from St. Louis, MO to Lake Martin in AL to pick up our new to us Cobalt. The kicker was…read morethat it did not have a trailer. The search for a trailer to fit our boat became priority numero uno. Now, the question: to buy one in MO and trailer it the 9 hrs down to Lake Martin or find a trailer along the way? I started to call around for price and availability. If the price was right, the availability wasn't or vice versa. Ok...Rambo Marine in Westover appears to be a Cobalt dealer. I get Zach on the phone: Zach: "yea, we got one that will fit that boat." Me: "For a 2015 Cobalt R5?" Zach: "Yea! I believe it's a XXX##### model. We got one that should fit it just fine. It's about [price]" Me: "I'll see you in 2 weeks!" In those two weeks Zach was patient with and responsive to my questions and my bank's needs (which was a lot). When we arrived on a Friday morning, there the trailer was in the parking lot. Ready to go. There was Zach...putting on the guide posts. We talk, complete some paperwork, I buy a trailer light adapter and an "O" for my missing "O" in COBALT one one side of the boat, and we're on our way to Lake Martin. While the lake marina was nice and put the boat on the trailer for us, the fit on the bow stop was not quite right and I didn't have a deep enough 3/4" socket to fix the issue. So, here we go reaching back out to Zach: Me: [texts photo] "Here's our situation." Zach: "Bring 'er back on up here, we'll fix it." Me: "On our way!" Bada-bing-bada-bang-bada-boom...FIXED. boat sits on the trailer like a glove. Because we were staying in a hotel, I asked Zach if we could possibly leave our boat on their lot and pick it up the next morning before our drive back. "I don't see a problem with that." Really? Cool! So, we leave the boat on the trailer behind a locked gate. Longer story short...Zach and all the folks at Rambo were amazing. They are personable, extroverted, ready to help, and/or just talk boats. If we lived in AL, these are the people who would earn my regular business. Check these guys out! Great people and customer service. Awesome boats!
