Will is the best trainer! Our puppy loves him, and Will takes time to teach us how to teach the pup. Highly recommend!

She is very reactive to other animals when on a leash, but when she's given free reign, she has a blast. I work a lot, so I try to take her to day care once or twice per week so she can get out and play - and she does! It's very rare that I'll check the cameras and she's seated. She's typically right in the mix and playing with all sorts of dogs in the big play yards. If I drop her off for 8 hours, she has at least two hours of running, another 2-4 of playing, and the rest mostly meandering. (She has a pit pat tracker.) She is typically asleep before we even make it home, and then she will sleep well through the rest of the day and through the night. They have cute (if overpriced) crafts and activities for the dogs, the staff have always been extremely helpful, and my pup starts pulling me towards the door as soon as we pull up. I have gone to other locations (not CBW) in the New Orleans area, and the smells and sketchiness of the employees always makes me grateful for this location and their care for my pup.

Not only did he give her the tools she needed to succeed but he also "trained" me on how to train her as well and gave me the tools I needed to continue to train my pup when he wasn't there. He was amazing with communication and extremely easy to work with. Very knowledgeable and would also explain things to me (how and why we were doing the things in training that we were doing) in a way that I understood. Highly recommend Matthew for all of your dog training needs :)

The…read morenew pup, Maybelline, was so full of love but came from a tough background (she was a bait dog in a fighting ring) and came to my home with essentially 0 healthy socialization with other dogs. I already had a dog, Bugg, who was not a fan of Maybelline and her lack of boundaries only compounded the situation- they couldn't be together without Maybelline running at Bugg and stepping over him (he's a tiny guy). I was determined to make this work so I reached out to ARNO and they connected me to Matt. We had a one hour training session and it was a great experience. Both dogs were comfortable with Matt from the get go. A lot was covered but the breakthrough for me was Matt's guidance in giving the dogs freedom to interact and allowing Bugg to "correct" Maybelline when she invaded his space/ignoring his cues of "I don't want to play, you are too close, give me space" so she couldn't learn. He gave specific recommendations for how much interaction to allow before separating the dogs and to limit face to face positioning. Matt helped me understand body language cues which eased my anxiety- it wasn't aggression on either end, just a case of one dog trying to say "stop annoying me" and the other dog being totally clueless. After that session I was able to relax and let them interact more without feeling like I had to be a helicopter. Soon the dogs were snoozing on the couch together and walking together without issue. We would have gotten here eventually without Matt's help but it would have taken so much longer and have been way more stressful than necessary. I added pictures to show our success :)

I have seen people claim they checked cameras and their pet was never outside the kennel. In my experience I check the cameras intermittently throughout the day and sometimes he is napping in the kennel other times he is out on the play yard living his best life. Just depends on the time of day you check, but I assure you they get plenty of play time and socialization. He normally sleeps good the next day because he plays so hard while there. They even post daily pics of the dogs to their facebook so if you miss your pets play times, you can be reassured there as well. The staff is also wonderful and are always happy to see him. I would not feel comfortable leaving him in anyone else's care.

Let me just start with how happy I am with my experience today. I brought my two golden retrievers…read morein because they needed to be groomed (their grinch feet were out of control) with us just moving to the area I needed to find someone. From a little research and word of mouth I stumbled upon the rovervelt. I'm very hesitant on where I take the boys because I've had groomers go clipper happy before, but I've heard nothing but great things. From the moment I walked in everyone was absolutely amazing and super welcoming. I decided to add play time as well as have them groomed and it was the best decision. I dropped them off around 9am and picked them up around 530pm. The price was amazing for what they provide, coming from California I was used to paying $350 for both dogs just to get groomed, It felt like a crime leaving paying what I did! It was no where close to that, I would have been completely okay with paying more! That's how happy I am with The Rovervelt. 1. The boys look great 2. grinch feet -gone 3.butts cleaned up 4. they are so soft 5. they smell AMAZING, and last but not least 6. they are soooo tired! They have been asleep (besides to eat dinner -but I wouldn't want to sleep through dinner, so I don't blame them) since we got home. They told me they loved playing and they couldn't get them out of pool haha. We plan on returning weekly for full day play, monthly for grooming, and boarding with we go out of town. I will tell everyone I know with dogs about how amazing they cared for my boys. Thank you so much Rovervelt for taking care of them! Plus pictures that were posted on the Facebook page shows me how happy Mav and Goose are with their experience.

Now, Peace of Mind Pet Sitting is the first place I recommend to friends and family whenever they ask about a good quality pet sitter.

Peace of Mind is bonded and insured. Ms. Creel is the proprietor and a Registered Veterinary Technician. She offers a couple of levels of service, visiting the house as needed or even sleeping over to care for pets. Ms. Creel met us at the house. She provide references and proof of insurance. We worked through a checklist of the dog's needs and habits. She then spent time with the dog. We agreed on a twice a day schedule to visit the house which included a substantial walk every evening. She also agreed to pick up the newspaper, mail and water a few plants. While we were away, Ms. Creel took great care of our shedding monster. She texted us regularly with updates, and left a running series of notes on how the day went. We have used Ms. Creel 3X in the past year and hope to continue using her. It is about twice the cost of boarding the dog which is well worth the peace of mind (no pun intended). I strongly recommend Peace of Mind and Ms. Creel.
