Love this place! People are so friendly here and take great care of the animals. My cat went here to get a few shots and was very comfortable and behaved great thanks to the great workers! Defintely recommend!

We did it! No visual barriers on the last day as we sit in a "down/stay" position in view of other dogs.

I am SO HAPPY that I bit the bullet and purchased a five week course to train my dog. We've got a long way to go but we have come so far already! Thanks to our awesome trainer Courtney Bayer, my reactive dog Anabelle and myself now have the tools and exercises to combat reactivity to other dogs so that our walks are easier, and maybe one day--we will be able to play with other dogs. I signed up for the Reactive Rover I class that deals with dog vs dog anxiety and aggressiveness. We were taught exercises and games that shift focus and mindset so that instead of having a negative experience, we can turn that association of seeing other dogs into a positive one. The one hour class meets once a week over five weeks. Each week you are sent home with homework so that you and your dog are prepared to take the next step in the next class. Tonight was our last class and we did something I never imagined we would do five weeks ago; we sat in a submissive position, quietly in view of other dogs for 30 minutes without incident. INCREDIBLE. Thanks a million to our trainer Courtney and her assistant. Now that we've completed this class, we want to take ALL the classes!

*** READ!**** Rude. Rude. Rude. Unfortunately to say I have adopted a dog with misleading information. I did sign an acknowledgment form that the dog I rescued had a upper respiratory infection. I signed. Next day brought my fur baby to the vet and turns out had the infection still and heart worms. The soca originally said that they usually don't , bug would treat my animal. 3 months later with numerous voicemails and contact information left during operation hours I have yet to get a response. As of today 7/22/2020 I have called 23 times no answer and have sent an emai

After entering the building, a glass window will display kittens and cats.

I stubble to this very new, huge, clean facility. After parking and heading to the entrance, you will see a long stretch of glass rooms for kittens and cats. Once you make a left turn to the reception table, you will enter a double glass door to the pets "condo". You will get to meet some sweet fur babies that just need a good home. Some share a "condo" but has their own sleeping bed and some stays by themselves. I would love to take a dog home once I can handle the responsibility it takes to take car of them. They dogs seems happy but bored. They got so excited to see my 18month nephew and wanted to play.

She is very reactive to other animals when on a leash, but when she's given free reign, she has a blast. I work a lot, so I try to take her to day care once or twice per week so she can get out and play - and she does! It's very rare that I'll check the cameras and she's seated. She's typically right in the mix and playing with all sorts of dogs in the big play yards. If I drop her off for 8 hours, she has at least two hours of running, another 2-4 of playing, and the rest mostly meandering. (She has a pit pat tracker.) She is typically asleep before we even make it home, and then she will sleep well through the rest of the day and through the night. They have cute (if overpriced) crafts and activities for the dogs, the staff have always been extremely helpful, and my pup starts pulling me towards the door as soon as we pull up. I have gone to other locations (not CBW) in the New Orleans area, and the smells and sketchiness of the employees always makes me grateful for this location and their care for my pup.

Peace of Mind is bonded and insured. Ms. Creel is the proprietor and a Registered Veterinary Technician. She offers a couple of levels of service, visiting the house as needed or even sleeping over to care for pets. Ms. Creel met us at the house. She provide references and proof of insurance. We worked through a checklist of the dog's needs and habits. She then spent time with the dog. We agreed on a twice a day schedule to visit the house which included a substantial walk every evening. She also agreed to pick up the newspaper, mail and water a few plants. While we were away, Ms. Creel took great care of our shedding monster. She texted us regularly with updates, and left a running series of notes on how the day went. We have used Ms. Creel 3X in the past year and hope to continue using her. It is about twice the cost of boarding the dog which is well worth the peace of mind (no pun intended). I strongly recommend Peace of Mind and Ms. Creel. My dog did not bite or has never bitten anyone or dog. If my dog is so bad, and aggressive, then why did she try to coax me to stay when I asked for my money back? Why didn't she tell me that my dog needed a muzzle, as per on her website . Saying aggressive dogs need a muzzle. Please read further for more. But I wrote this after her response to my review: .......In response to Jean's the owner's comment: Jean, 1st of all, Don't LIE. You said that if anyone wants to learn to loose leash walk their dog, we'd have to buy YOUR leather leashes.I asked why does it have to be leather? My leash was long enough. And you wouldn't give me an answer. You just said, "we'll take about that later. You even have it on your website that it has to be so long, so wide or else we have to buy yours. This is from your website: Dogs will be fitted with the correct leash and collar at time of registration The following items will not be permitted for use in the class: * Leashes that are too short, too wide or too narrow for the dog being trained * Choke chains that are too large or too long for the dog being trained * Pinch collars that are too heavy or too thin for the intended dog * Nylon leashes, nylon or buckle collars, and harnesses I DOGS WITHOUT PROPER EQUIPMENT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR PROGRAM. Secondly, I wasn't aware that when a dog barks that it is "aggressive." If you think that's aggressive, then you have no business training dogs, because your assumptions and observations are way off! If my dog is so aggressive and a BOTHER TO OTHERS as you say, then WHY DID YOU TRY TO CONVINCE ME TO STAY? I'll tell you why.....You would have lost over $100 from me. Also, if my dog is so aggressive, then why didn't you tell me that she needs to wear a wired muzzle? (According to your website listed under the seminar section.) This is what it said: NOTE: * NO harnesses will be permitted for use once the Simanar gets underway. (Buckle collars can be used on smaller dogs with mild issues. Training equipment for everything else.) * Dog aggressive dogs may be required to wear a wire basket muzzle. Training equipment required. * People aggressive dogs will be required to wear a wire basket muzzle. Training equipment required. * Training equipment will be available for purchase during registration, or can be acquired ahead of time from most pet shops or feed stores. Jean, the fact that you tried to convince me to stay and that you didn't tell me that my dog needs a muzzle also shows me that she is not aggressive. Because a responsible trainer wouldn't let an aggressive dog near other people/dogs. I rest my case. As I've said in my review, I go to the dog park almost every day and my dog is NOT aggressive. In fact, she is submissive. She rolls over when she goes every time and she has NEVER bitten any dog or person or gotten into a dog fight. Yeah that's really aggressive.( sarcasm) I didn't see anyone complain to you or me about my dog. Your response tried to make me look like I deliberately was going around with my dog to other dogs. That was not the case. As per my review, I tried my best to keep my dog restrained. But it was like juggling with 1 hand trying to stand and fill out an application and restrain her. Also, don't try and blame your lack of organization of taking a whole hour to register people on me by saying that I caused a scene. You are using me for an excuse for you taking a whole hour to register people. When in fact, I "caused a scene" as you say, AFTER you took an hour to register people. And only then, because I had enough of your insults! Jean, the proof is in the pudding. I've noticed several other reviews complaining about your lack of organization and unprofessionalism too. So have you because you've responded negatively to them too. Sara C said you publically embarrassed her. Just like you humiliated me. She also said that you used unneccessary force on a dog. You jerked the dog on the pavement by the prong collar. Also, other people have reviews , Kim V and Inside L. So, i'm not the only one.

If you want to work with them by all means go ahead, but know that if you say anything about them in a negative light they will not let it go. The professionalism from this company is in question. Let's talk about unprofessional. If a pet owner, or doggy mom, has questions or concerns with a tool or technique you should explain it to them. Not kick them out of class, publicly embarrass them and in the process use unnecessary force to make a point on an animal that did NOTHING wrong at that time. The way i was treated tonight by these "trainers" has me astonished and ashamed. I should have done more research. I should have protected my baby. And i should have stood my ground and asked for help from the dozen witnesses to the assault that happened on my dog. Do not ask questions if you want to stay and work with these people. Do not show concern or empathy when they physically jerk your dog onto pavement to show you why you need a choke collar. And do not at any point try to ask why. There was no reason in the womans eyes. I was not meant to work with her and she was not meant to work with my baby. If you are looking to train a protection animal by all means the force she used should work. If you are trying to train your pet, your child, your partner, look else where.
