They do not offer classes here but the lady working that afternoon was able to suggest another place for lessons. As you can see from the pictures, it's a small shop but carries bolts of fabric in a rainbow of colors, shades, prints and designs. They also sell quilting supplies, patterns, books, thread, notions, etc. Since I'm not a quilter (yet), I have no comparison for the fabric pricing although quilting specialty shops tend to have very quality product made for durability. My purpose in coming here was to drop off a quilt top made by my great-grandmother decades ago and have it finished which is another service they provide. In a few weeks, I can post a picture of the finished product! Again, the person working was great in helping to offer various options and guide my selections since I am a complete novice.

Which, you might be surprised, is now softer and less scratchy than most acrylic yarns. Though some of these yarns are naturally at a somewhat higher price point than low-cost yarn at a big-box store, I was pleased to see that there really are budget-friendly items here. That it might be better to do a smaller project with high-quality yarn rather than buy a large quantity of cheap stuff. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was so nice talking with her. She didn't make me feel like I was expected to make a purchase. Narrator: the reviewer did in fact make a purchase. So - we will see how this "magic loop" knitting works. Wish me luck!
