The store is clean and spacious and laid out very easily. Everyone who works there is really nice and in a town like that you get to know people's names quickly. I love to stop in and visit with familiar friendly faces like Melanie, Beccie or Meghan. If you're driving through... don't blink... and don't pass it up!

But next to the coffee was the donut case, and I did not expect to get seduced so easily, but alas I fell hard. For a mere $2.49 had an amazing maple cream stick. Not too sugary sweet. The inside was filled with almost like a rich whipped cream versus a buttercream. The shell was lightly fried, not greasy. And the maple topping was smooth, not gritty, and evenly applied across the donut so I got some with every bite. I'm going to think about this donut for a long time. I also snagged a box of fritters for the rest of the crew, but I sat silently on their porch swing and ate that donut and drank my basic coffee in blissful silence. It was the perfect way to start my day. They also offer an abundance of groceries and supplies for campers since the campground is nearby. It appears there is a little restaurant that's adjacent and a walk-up window for morning donut and coffee runs that closes at 10:30am. A very nice surprise to stumble upon this place during our camping trip. Definitely worth stopping in!

More non-perishable items too; the homemade baked goods are most noteworthy. In reality, the food items seem to make up very little of the store. Another almost half of the space is occupied by a mini antique shop within the marketplace. (I especially liked seeing an old school-desk made of solid wood and featuring a specific metal holder where an inkwell would sit.) Plenty of handmade and local gifty items are spread throughout. Those hand (really it's laser) etched tiles seem to be all the rage these days. Nothing here really fit my fancy (other than that desk) but it was by no means a place not worth visiting. It has all the charm of a small town with the modern touch and presentation of a chain store. Worth dropping in, though I add it hesitantly to my collection of area antique stores.

They carry such items like Giannios Chocolates, Troyer Purple Popcorn (Amish), Walnut Creek Ladyfinger Popcorn (Amish), Woeber's Wasabi Mustard, and Crossings Countryside Market jar goods. While traveling through Mid Ohio, I stopped by the Crossings Countryside Market recently for some food. I ordered The Austen 12" Sub ($5.99), smoked honey roasted turkey breast, smoked gouda, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, and mayo. The sub was made to order, topping choices written on paper wrapper as I ordered. The Austen Sub I ordered was very big, stuffed with generous amounts of turkey breast and gouda cheese slices and the cold fillings requested in a thick homemade white bread sub roll, which was firm outside and had a soft and chewy texture. This was one of the best deli subs I had this year. I enjoyed this big hero in my car before heading over to Canton. NOTE: The owners have made the tough decision to become a seasonal market moving forward due to family needs. They will close for the season on Saturday July 27, 2019 and they hope to reopen in the summer of 2020.
