I browsed the extensive cheese and meat selections, all of the candy, and some of the baked goods in the center. I left with cheese curds, meat sticks, and a plastic clamshell of root beer barrels. I thought the prices were fair for the quality of the products. The store was massive and laid out in an organized way. They even had a seating area upstairs that I would love to come back and check out.

First, this place is very clean, and aisles are labeled very well. The employees on my visit were exceptionally polite. Prices here are reasonable in comparison to other grocers. Selection here is another story. I visit grocery stores all over the country in search of local/regional products. Though it offers Ohio-based products, Heinen's has more than its fair share of products produced my multi-national corporations. I'm totally not against that. I do, however, want to see more than a brand or two that isn't Vlasic, Oscar Meyer, or General Foods.
