My husband and I have been taking our son to this office since he was born last year. And throughout, we have been so impressed with their compassion, professionalism and knowledge. You can read my previous review for a lot of the nuts and bolts of this. And since I wrote that, we've had to take my son to this office on a few occasions, especially after he started daycare and inevitably got colds and minor sicknesses. Each time, we were able to either get some answers quickly via the phone or get an appointment, usually the same day. They have also been on top of switching what they could to telemedicine during this pandemic and working to keep everyone as safe as possible. It's a relief to know that my son is in such great hands with Dr. Slone and the rest of the providers at this office.

Upon arrival, each parking spot is numbered and has a sign saying to text patient name, DOB, and parking spot #. Masks to be worn, temp check before entry. We arrived a bit early & only had a very short wait for my teen to go in to be seen. I appreciate nearly always being able to get in when needed in a prompt time frame. I love that she presents us with the facts and always has research to back up her diagnoses or suggestions, and while she is incredibly logical and science based in her approach, she is also kind and warm. She is a strong advocate for breastfeeding which I have found to be incredibly helpful, and her non-alarmist approach to diagnoses has so far led us in the right direction every time. The other wonderful thing about ACP is that you can always get an appointment the same day when you have a sick little one. They have a large staff of pediatricians, so you never have to worry about your child waiting for an appointment, and they stay open late several days a week to accommodate their patients. They also have a nurse triage line, where you can call with your questions if you're not sure about whether or not to bring your child in for a visit. They have offered us free Culturelle when our daughter had stomach issues as a side effect of an antibiotic, they are incredibly patient with our highly spirited toddler during vitals and vaccinations, and Dr. Cowley herself calls to discuss test results - something I have not experienced at all doctors offices. Knowing how much thought they put into decisions I felt confident we'd also have a good experience and that's proven to be true. Dr. Thompson is the boys' primary physician. The dad of twin boys he brings humor to every visit and I've never felt judged for my questions or concerns. He patiently sits with us and provides answers or ideas. My boys have felt comfortable with him even during the embarrassing moments. We've visited with several of the other doctors during sick visits. (A separate door is designated for infectious illnesses and sick visits are on the opposite side as annual or shot visits). They also visited us after delivery and took especially good care of us when my second son was born with a heart murmur - a hole on top and bottom. The nurses have also been very friendly and patient with shots. (These are stressful times for kids and parents!) Thus far we've never had an issue with billing or insurance coverage. Annual check-ups need to be scheduled several weeks in advance. The doctors schedules stay very busy and some will be unavailable at the office if they are doing hospital rounds for newborns. My only reason for a 4-star visit is the office needs an update. The same border and tables are in place since we've been visiting. I've never had an issue thinking the rooms weren't being cleaned but compared to newer doctor offices, they may appear run down. The office is located off the Breckenridge exit in the basement of an office building. Parking is plentiful. WiFi is very difficult to access so you may need to make important calls or texts outside of the office.
