I hired the firm because I wanted experienced legal representation during an extremely difficult time. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling frustrated, unsupported, and ultimately led me to seek new representation. Communication was the biggest issue throughout my case. I frequently had to initiate contact for updates, leaving voicemails and sending emails that often went unanswered for extended periods. Rather than feeling represented, I felt like I was managing my own case. I was the one consistently updating the firm after appointments, forwarding work status reports, communicating information from the insurance adjuster, and repeatedly asking for a strategy and direction for my case. The most concerning part of my experience involved my surgery. After retaining the firm in late February, I was repeatedly told they intended to transfer my care to one of their preferred orthopedic physicians. I fully cooperated and continued treating with my current physician because I was specifically instructed to continue treatment until they successfully placed me with another doctor. Weeks turned into months. Despite repeatedly asking for updates and a timeline, I was never evaluated by one of their orthopedic specialists before my scheduled surgery. I continually asked what the plan was, when I would be seen, and what I should expect moving forward. I never received a clear answer. Then, the day before my scheduled surgery, after waiting more than two months while relying on the firm's direction, I was advised not to proceed with the surgery. At that point, I had no appointment with another surgeon, no replacement physician had examined me, and no alternative treatment plan had been arranged. I was essentially being asked to postpone a medically necessary surgery indefinitely without any certainty as to when I would actually receive treatment. That was simply not a reasonable position to put a client in. I ultimately chose to proceed with surgery because I had already waited months while trusting the firm's guidance, my condition continued to deteriorate, and delaying surgery without another physician or treatment plan in place was not something I could responsibly do. Only afterward did I learn that the physician they intended to transfer me to ultimately would not assume my care following surgery. I also later learned there had been issues identifying an appropriate orthopedic specialist. These were developments I believe should have been communicated much sooner rather than after months had already passed. Throughout my case, I repeatedly asked basic questions such as: * What is the overall strategy? * What is the next step? * When will I actually be seen by another physician? * What should I expect moving forward? Far too often, those questions required repeated follow-up before I received any response. I understand that workers' compensation cases are complex and that attorneys cannot control every aspect of medical treatment. However, clients should be able to expect consistent communication, timely guidance, and a clear plan. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Ultimately, I lost confidence that my case was being handled proactively. I made the difficult decision to seek new representation because I felt I needed a firm that would communicate more effectively, provide clear guidance, and actively advocate for my medical care instead of leaving me to navigate critical decisions on my own. I sincerely hope Perez Law improves its communication and client management. No injured worker should feel like they are carrying the burden of managing their own case while also trying to recover from a serious injury.

I sat here for an hour reading all of these positive reviews about all of these different…read moreexperiences these people have had with workers compensation attorney's in Riverside which was hard for me to grasp and understand because from my experience workers comp was hell for me and I never received the proper outcome after having been represented by attorney's in Riverside county and outside of Riverside county. I always got the run around from insurance adjusters while my treating doctors requests and demands go unanswered. I've injured myself quite a few times my 55 years on earth and I never was able to fully recover from most injuries sustained on the job. It always came down to doctors words against your words, the injured. And often times in this business, doctors play God. Like they know it all. And that goes for the insurance adjusters and attorney's as well! Nobody listens to the injured anymore as if our complaints doesn't matter. It's a numbers game. The more money they save, the better off they'd be and the injured always get the short end of the stick because when you consider what they are offering it almost never is worth accent because in the long run your injury may not be completely and fully healed! Why? Because your attorney's didnt push for proper care in doctors and or they didn't appeal the adjusters ruling. And at the end of the day they dont care about the injured they care about saving a buck. And as for attorney's, they play games too. Off your history, your background, your character, can be used against you. We're you dont get 100% attorney representation because of bias feelings towards supposed accusations pinned on your last name where they do just enough to assist with your claim but not fully. And ethnicity plays a part in this too because things dont always work out favorable for people of color believe it or not. So, workers compensation is a complete mess. All my life I've been in the same job, same position. For 30 years. It's what i enjoy. But management and supervisors have numbers to meet. Every day. And in order for numbers to be met we have to work extra hard to meet production standards. So that means heavy lifting and long hours. Mandatory overtime to top it off! So, accidents are prone to happening especially when you hit my age. But more important than that are the few hard workers. I call us, the john Henry's of workers that out hustle everybody that dont hustle which are prone to injuries so, how do we win? As a hard working employee such as myself. If we slack off we get fired. If we dont meet our numbers, we get fired. So we are forced to make a lovong through slave labor. And in slave labor you get accidents and injuries. Simple. So why do employers refuse proper treatment i should say and why do they often make choices that doesn't benefit the hard worker i just dont get it. Now here i am seven months after the fact that i injured myself on the job and i had received some treatment but other treatment i was neither approved or denied. I hired an attorney to fix things. My claim got denied while he represented me. The attorney disrespected me over the phone which resulted in his termination and i end up hiring a new attorney after i spent almost an hour on the phone explaining to him my situation he assured me that they will fight for me which they've done. They appealed some rulings that the previous attorney failed to to. And now im making progress. Mind you, i exhausted all of my edd sdi savings because insurance denied my claim they back retro pay me one month and continued bi weekly payments provided the doctor keeps me out of work. I'm still injured. Going steady with norcos about to get evicted after exhausting all of my benefits for the 3rd time and relationship ruined because of it all and about to walk away from my spouse. That's my life I live after I injured myself naturally and doctors not making proper requests to get the proper treatment and adjusters not approving things and attorneys not working on behalf of you for whatever reason. So my advice to all hard workers is, dont work hard. That way you dont put 30 years of wear and tare on your body because eventually something is bound to happen when you put your best foot forward and listen to all of these bosses barking orders that you need to meet daily. Or else get fired. So this is a real life ordeal that has happened to me that I presently live so I can't give it nothing but one star because the system wasn't designed to help the injured. It was designed to save a buck. And if you so happen to get a good attorney that understands the magnitude of the situation and your injury that knows how the system works that took an oath to protect injured workers that genuinely want to help you wholeheartedly without being bias in any way be thankful because from my experience their are few that operate in such a manner.
