Here's where I have the problem: Cell phone dwellers. Last night I worked on a machine in the middle of four different people sitting on machines cruising their cell phones, taking literally minutes between sets. Tonight, I wanted to work on one, last chest exercise, but that machine was taken by a man with headphones, so occupied with his cell phone he didn't even notice my presence. I decided to return 45 minutes after cardio, and that same machine was taken by a husband-wife team who decided that instead of taking turns, it was social hour and chatting time. I wasn't really paying attention to the guy, but one man was in the 30 minute workout room, sitting on his phone. He was there when I went to the drinking fountain, when I started the treadmill - and 8 minutes later. Never actually saw him do a set. The positive: the place is very clean, there are a ton of cardio machines, the hours are great, and they generally have two of every machine. I'd rather have "lunks" than people more interested in cell phones than actually exercising.

A lot of people around my age do the same, so this is for all of you especially as I wish it was easy to find this info online: -THIS PLACE DOES WEEKLY MEMBERSHIPS- It's hard to find a place that does weekly memberships without having to sign your life away, which is the last thing a visitor needs to do when they just want to get in quickly and get the job done while traveling. The weekly rate here at Anytime Fitness is very reasonable (the lowest in the area). So if you're in the area temporarily, get over to Anytime at a time when they're staffed, John or another helpful staff member will set you up quickly and you can get your workouts in. If you live in the area and are looking for a gym, all of the equipment is new, the place is clean, and the staff is helpful. They understand fitness goals and HOW a gym should be run and how their clientele WANTS the gym to be run. They aren't going to try to get more money out of you or set up an environment that isn't inviting from the outset, leaving you to just get started on your fitness goals!

I have a VIP package and pay around $40 a month for unlimited tanning on the level two beds. You also get a discount on their tanning lotions and a $5 any level tan on Monday's if you're a VIP. The employees are always so nice and helpful and my favorite part about coming here is how CLEAN everything is. I very rarely have to wait for a bed to open up and if I do it's usually only a 5-10 minute wait. I've been going here 2-3 times a week since last fall and I've never had a bad experience.
