I want to start off by saying that I have never owned a Yelp account or written an online review in my life. But after four different experiences with Vitaly and his team, I almost feel obligated to create an account and properly thank them for their service. Here is a list of things that World Auto Body deserves 5 stars (they would receive full stars in any scale) for: Collision repair, detailing, interior/exterior cleaning, maintenance, insurance claims expertise, customer service, car cleaning advice, honesty and flexibility. Here are some details of my experiences: Car Model: Merc C300 2009 1. Car gets severely damaged when being transported from Wisconsin to Boston (Late 2014) I was recommended to Vitaly by my friend (Henry). The car had all sorts of damages, including a broken light/windshield wipers, flat tire, scratches, minor dents, and etc. Vitaly gave me an honest and clear assessment of all the damages and laid out the most affordable options. I was then offered a discount if I paid in cash instead of credit. The car comes out looking brand new. Everything was fixed to perfection. They even made an effort to cover any spots or scratches that weren't part of our deal. Finally, being a first time car owner, Vitaly gave me suggestions on how to clean and detail the car myself. In fact, he even gifted me some free microfiber cleaning towels because I didn't have any. 2. Front left headlight burnt out (Late 2015) Drove in with no appointment right before the shop closed. Vitaly quickly found a spare light bulb and replaced it for free. What surprised me most was that he remembered who I was. It had almost been a year since I last visited and he remembered my name. He even asked how my gf and I were doing. This level of customer service is hard to find today. 3. Car gets hit in the left rear bumper while parked. (June or July 2016) Amica appraiser was enthusiastic when I chose WAB to repair my car. They took over the entire insurance process and arranged a rental car for me from Enterprise. All I had to do was pickup and drop off the rental car. The entire process was so smooth that I didn't even have to mention the word payment. The damages were completely repaired and the car's interior/exterior looked brand new again. I want to point out that Vitaly and his team does everything they can (within limits) to repair all damages that they see even if it's not part of the accident. 4. Car gets hit in the front left bumper/wheel area while parked. (April 2017) Commerce appraiser said "perfect" when I chose WAB to repair my car. The insurance process was slightly more complicated because I had to make a claim against another person's insurance. I did what I needed to do and WAB did the rest. They were flexible with my drop-off and pickup dates, allowing me to keep my car with them while I was away for a week from Boston. Similar to the above, the car comes back in a much better condition than it was before the accident. It was clear that they did more than they were paid to do. This time I would like to praise their detailing and cleaning ability. I have two Siberian huskies that shed as if there was no tomorrow. I practically gave up on cleaning the inside of the car because it is impossible to get the spots where my hand or vacuum don't fit. So trust me when I say that I am truly amazed by their ability. The interior was spotless (sand from the beach, dirt from the parks, trash from my gf and I, and drool from the two dogs were all gone). The seats were cleaned and polished. The scent of dogs was eliminated by a fresh aroma. I am still in disbelief as to how they were able to remove all the fur from the hidden/unreachable areas. After 4 experiences over several years with WAB, I can tell you with confidence that their quality and service has remained at the highest level. They truly deserve all the stars that they can get. While this one review may not make the biggest difference, I hope that it shows my appreciation and gratitude. So once again, thank you for all your hard work. Quick Summary: A wonderful shop with an earnest, professional and detail-oriented owner (Pasquale). I wholeheartedly recommend World Auto Body. My Experience: I have a 2004 Acura TSX, which I adored but was beat up and tired-looking after nine long years. I test drove a bunch of new cars, but nothing sung out to me like my old car did, and so I decided to try to restore this car to new. A good friend recommended World Auto Body and the experience was a huge success. Facility: I didn't just blindly drop off my car, as I was rather protective of it. And I toured three auto-body shops (the two other in East Cambridge, near my work) before choosing who would restore my car. Pasquale's was clearly the nicest facility, replete with aluminum air lines, a "clean-room" caliber painting room, and lots of high-tech gadgetry (e.g., a camera that can tell your your exact paint color, and a light that 100% mimics sunlight to help test paint colors). It's a very clean, organized shop with even a very comfortable waiting area. Top notch. Results: Over six weeks, Pasquale and I extensively planned and then his team executed a pretty dramatic plan to bring this car back to life, with amazing results: new wheels, a gorgeous paint job, new trim, restored headlights, new rotors, new brake lines, the list goes on! My "new" car is a testament to his high standards, and just screams "whoever did this really cared about what they were doing." I'm totally in love with it again. Character: Pasquale is detail-oriented, committed to excellent results, and went out of his way to answer every question I had. He does not cut corners and prides himself on doing things right the first time. (That might sound like a meaningless feel-good phrase, but it's not: We ran across several situations on my car where mostly-reasonable shortcuts existed, and Pasquale always recommended doing it the right way. ...And this was on a fixed bid project, no less, so he was basically volunteering to do more work, to make sure it was done correctly. How often do you see that these days!?) Impressive. Summary: In short: World Auto Body is a very well-run, modern and clean autobody shop. Pasquale is a consummate professional who prides himself on a job well done, and his prices are somehow still very reasonable. I wholeheartedly recommend World Auto Body! read more

What an Great Experience this was! I had never had a car detailed but knew that I had to this time... A week before Christmas, I bought a second hand car that I could not be happier about. One problem; the car is a 1996 Audi that I firmly believe the family that sold it to me had never once cleaned. When I drove it home for Christmas, I told my brother that I had to have the interior detailed. He said, "don't be silly, I will help you clean it." He then saw the interior and changed his mind. Great Car...ABSOLUTELY Filthy. When I came back to town after the Holiday, I knew it was time to act...I had a Big Date on New Years and knew that my Girl might be a bit put off. I had read about 'World Auto Body' on Yelp...I had to do research, as I said, I had never gotten a vehicle detailed. I emailed World Auto Body on the morning of the 30th....they called right away (side note: the other 2 companies that I emailed got back to me on Jan. 2nd) The (Very Sweet) girl on the phone (Danielle?) APOLOGIZED for only having one opening that day...Worked perfectly for me and I jumped on it! Drove in and explained the situation to Danielle. I was so disgusted with the 17 year old Audi carpeted floor mats that I asked that they be thrown away. Danielle laughed...."No, No....lets see what we can do with them." I left the car and went about my day. I received photo texts throughout the afternoon showing me the progress...I thought this was a very nice and helpful perk. The car was ready at exactly the time that they told me it would be. I was completely blown away with the result! The entire interior was like new...Those Floor Mats were pristine....The owner was waiting for me and knew MY story and shared his own about his love for Audi...He taught me more than a few things about my car and even more about customer service. I was told that although I was only getting the interior detailed....they washed the outside as well (at no extra charge)....I guess they felt it needed it (It Did) What a Nice Experience on many different levels. I needed a last minute interior detail of my 2005 Subaru Forester due to parents visiting for a week. I found World Body on Yelp, reasonably close to home and relatively cheap ($95 for full interior detail including shampoo of carpets and upholstery) with a couple of good reviews. I called on Tuesday afternoon and was told Wednesday at 8am would be no problem. Whilst the car was by no means in awful condition, it has been well used and I do smoke in it. Showed up and dropped it off. The owner saw me himself and was very helpful. Went over the car with me to find out if there was anything in particular that I wanted addressed. They called when it was ready and I went to pick it up a couple of hours later. Well, the car was spotless. The inside is perfect, no trace of smoke smell, no marks or stains on the beige carpets or seats - even the door jambs are spotless. The outside had also been hand washed free of charge. The kicker, the left corner of the plastic bumper had been caved in for years after someone had hit me in a car park at work and driven away. I had tried to "pop it out" myself many times without luck but when walking down the driveway to collect the car, there it was looking relatively straight. Of course after years being caved in it has visible creases, it's by no means perfect and a new bumper is the only true fix but it looks a million times better than it did before. I was stunned, the job I paid for was perfect, hand wash was a bonus but the bumper blew me away. He wouldn't take any extra money for the job than the $95 quoted and would not even accept a tip. Then basically blocked the door until I took a cold San Pellegrino with me when I left. They can't be making much if anything off the detailing job they did. If the goal was to get me in, do a great job, go the extra mile and hope that I come back for more work in the future if required then they succeeded. I will definitely be calling them when the time comes to replace the bumper or get any body work done. Highly recommend. read more

I work as a firefighter in Newton, and was referred to World Auto Body from a high school buddy who knew the owners. I needed work done because a driver had accidentally rear ended my car. Luckily, I had only thirty thousand phone calls and forms to fill out to go through the insurance process. I only had to jump through about three hoops, but one of them was on fire, so I had to put that out before I jumped through. You know, safety precautions. The insurance process was complicated, to say the least. Let me tell you this, it was a breeze to walk into World Auto Body and to have Pasquale and Vitaly help me through the process, including do some of the legwork involving a rental car and working through the insurance companies. As World Auto Body is a Preferred Auto Body Shop for my insurance company, the process was even simpler. World Auto Body took my car, advised me on the best rental company for my financial needs, and they have working relationships with all of these rental car companies. It came in handy because, even though I did all of my own research, they were able to tell me who I was going to work with and what the usual costs are. It was really helpful to get a seasoned and experienced professional to give me feedback in that way. Easy come, easy go, right? Absolutely! I drove in, took my random stuff out the car that I needed. And left the rest. I picked up my car two weeks later, with all of the random stuff ORGANIZED in a box. The interior was spotless and shampooed. The exterior was detailed and buffed, looking good even though I asked for modest changes. They took the rental car from me and already worked out payment with the insurance company. So the hardest part was making the cookies I gave them for thanks. These guys are the best... Vitaly and World Auto Body are fantastic -- certainly the best in the Boston area for service (and I've worked with a lot of shops!). After my neighbor backed into my car, Vitaly took a look at my car for an estimate. He did a thorough inspection to determine if any surprises lurked under the bumper cover and gave me an on-the-spot price that was lower than the six nearest shops. After reading a few reviews online and seeing the caliber of work he did in his shop, I felt comfortable leaving my car in his capable hands. We set up an appointment and he and his team took care of replacing the front bumper in a timely manner. The price was fair, the turnaround was quick, and the paint was a great match with no orange peel texture. The man knows his stuff! Fast forward quite some time, and my neighbors backed into my car again. I knew I was going to take it back to Vitaly for the same level of quality he delivered the first time, but when we took a look at the damage, Vitaly caught something that wasn't to his satisfaction about the quality of the part his vendor sent him when he did the first repair. He stood behind his work and redid the bumper under warranty. Once again, it turned out perfectly. Great color match, great finish, and he and his team detailed my car so I left with it looking like new. I can't recommend these guys highly enough - they do a good job, stand by their work, and are a pleasure to deal with. Unbelievable. I pulled in less than one hour before closing time, frantic about getting back to NY before the blizzard on Friday. My front bumper was smashed and the plastic piece in the wheel well was flapping. The woman in the office said someone would look at it in a minute ... and in exactly one minute she looked up, offerred coffee, and apologized that I had 't been helped! Pasquale came out very soon after and made an assessment. Even though he realized I'd be bringing it back to New York for the work, he spent a few minutes explaining exactly what would need to be fixed. He had his guys look it over to make sure it was safe to drive, and they checked the wiper fluid and oil levels too! It all was done with 15 minutes, during which time a UPS guy stopped with a package - Pasquale offered him a drink and asked after his family. When he was ready to send me on my way, he asked if I needed the bathroom before I started out, and apologized for not having time to wash the car! I am in shock over the speed, courtesy, level of professionalism, and sincere care that permeates the entire shop. It was a remarkable experience. Highest Standards & Customer Focused If you are a detailed person like me who is also passionate about their vehicle then you have chosen the right Auto body shop. After significant research to identify the right shop in the Boston area to perform work on my new M550 I found World Auto Body INC. Honestly I was skeptical of all the 5 start reviews and but was quickly impressed the minute they took the keys from me. Vitay, the owner is hands on and manages an exceptional team. Everyone works together focusing on delivering a high quality product and meeting customer expectations. Vitaly would carefully inspect my vehicle himself and would want to make sure everything was perfect. Clearly this type of leadership is contagious and reflected when you speak to Dishauna and Skylar who manage the front office. My personal experience is that you might be lucky to find a high quality shop but the front office support is sacrificed. There were a few personal complications I had with picking up the car. While the front office team didn't have an answer ready for me at the time their response was "Let's take down the details and work out a plan that works for you". I took my car here after an accident that damaged my front bumper and headlight. World Auto was recommended through my insurance. They were very helpful from the get go. They worked on my car over thanksgiving and it ended up that my car had previous damage that I did not even know about. The team at World Auto took care of everything and interfaced with insurance for me. I had to rent a car for two days and the best price was through World Auto (I guess they have some kind of corporate thing with enterprise). After the insurance appraiser looked at the car they covered only half of the unknown damage - Pasquale and his team somehow took care of it all! And within 48 hours! I was absolutely amazed at how the team works with their clients. In addition, they really involve you in the process (i.e. they take time to answer any and all questions, they provide you with email updates with pictures of your car). And as others have said - the detailing was phenomenal. I am a habitual spiller of morning beverages in my car - they somehow made the inside look brand spanking new! Car goes to the dealership to get a body and engine evaluation (due to recall notice) and I am sure they will praise the work of World Auto. World Auto Body is absolutely amazing. My car was hit while I was in work, so I had a mess of paperwork to deal with in terms of whether or not my insurance company or the parking lot's insurance company was covering the damage. Pasquale took care of every single piece of paperwork for me from start to finish - he spoke to both my insurance company and the parking lot's and made it so that I didn't even have to get involved. Pasquale went step-by-step with me over the estimate, so that I completely understood the work that was being done to my car. He and his team followed all procedures by the book, making sure that I was getting exactly what was owed to me. They had to completely re-paint one of my doors and I am amazed by the fact that you can't tell even slightly that the door has been redone. Pasquale and his team even go a further step of detailing your car for you after they fix it! Not only did I get my car back looking like it was never damaged, I also got it back cleaned and shampooed. You honestly can't put a price on the type of customer service and impeccable work that comes out of World Auto Body shop. Best Auto Body shop on the planet. The owner of the business is completely hands-on and really cares about his clients. You can tell right away that customer satisfaction is the #1 priority. They went above and beyond my expectations. Not only was my car repaired, they even touched up other nicks and scratches around my car. Not to mention that I didn't have to spend nearly as much money as I had originally thought I would. One thing they do that is very unique is that they are very transparent with every step of the process. First, using a detailed computer program, they showed me what the parts were that needed fixing and and explained what they would do. Then, every stage of the job is photographed and posted online to see. I got photos when they had all the panels off the car, photos when the parts were fixed and then repainted, and then photos of my car back together - detailed, vacuumed, and looking like it had just come off the lot. There are so many more good things I could say, but really, I wish it hadn't taken me 35 years to find this place. They made me feel really comfortable with the whole process. By far the best auto body shop in all of Massachusetts. I came to World Auto Body two months after being involved in a hit and run accident with messy insurance claims and so forth. Pasquale did everything in his power to reassure me that no matter what, I would be taken care of- even if he had to take care of it himself. This was beyond excellent customer service. You really feel like you're talking to someone who knows about your situation and genuinely CARES to provide you with the best possible outcome. Additional damage was taken care of on my car for the simple fact that he thought it would be easier to do in one fell swoop, and was not charged to me as an expense. This guy and his crew are incredible people. My car looked like the day I first got it, and I can't express how happy I am with how they took care of me. They worked with the car rental company and my insurance to make sure I could have a rental even if my difficult insurance company wouldn't cover it. This was just a wonderful experience. When some jerk smashed my parked car in a hit and run, I wasn't expecting a positive experience. Liberty Mutual recommended World Auto Body (I've never had body work done in Boston, so this was a truly blind experience) and I can't BELIEVE how wonderful it was. The folks at World Auto Body accommodated my schedule, repaired my Cruze, and had me back on the road three days earlier than their initial estimate. Plus, the interior and exterior is SPARKLING. I'm not sure my car was this clean when I bought it! Extra cool elements: with other body shops, I've had to constantly call and nag to get updates on my vehicle's repairs. With World Auto Body, they send you texts that gives you automatic updates on your claims process, the repair, and pick-up date. But don't worry, there's also plenty of good old fashioned customer service, too, with the friendly ladies at the front desk arranging pick up times and car rentals if necessary. Also, as a female driver, I didn't worry once about being taken advantage of for the cost of my repairs. These guys are as honest as it comes, and I couldn't be happier. Vitaly was phenomenal to work with and I can't recommend World Auto Body highly enough. My car suffered extensive hail damage in the big hail storm last summer and my insurance company gave me a very low estimate of what they would pay to get the damage fixed. I went to World Auto Body based on several word-of-mouth recommendations and Vitaly took care of everything, including walking me through the process and options for my car, contacting the insurance company's adjuster to have the assessment re-done and facilitating the insurance reimbursement. The crew that he had do the work did an beautiful job and my car looks brand new. Vitaly personally walked me around the car when it was done and explained everything that was done and made sure that I was completely happy with the work before signing off on it. I was then rear-ended on my way to work right before Thanksgiving and went back to World Auto Body since I had such a good experience the first time. Again, phenomenal service and my car was good-as-new within a couple days. Again, they took care of everything. Everyone I interacted with at World Auto Body was helpful, kind and responsive. Seriously world class service from World Auto Body! Getting your car repaired is never a pleasant experience, but I'm so glad I found this place! I was hit from behind on Route 9, and the other drivers' insurance (MAPFRE) approved me for about $500 worth of light cosmetic fixes. When I dropped my car off at World Auto Body, Vitaly discovered way more extensive damage than MAPFRE had found and replaced my bumper entirely. I am so grateful for their thorough and honest work. The rest was billed through MAPFRE directly and I did not have to pay upfront and wait for reimbursement or even handle the conversation with MAPFRE. To top it off, my car was BEAUTIFUL. Completely cleaned and detailed. I have never received free detailing after auto repair before and my little Civic seriously looked brand new. As if that wasn't enough, Vitaly offered me a $100 discount to pay in cash. I had already been given the $500 check from MAPFRE, meaning I got paid $100 to get hit on Route 9. Certainly didn't turn out too bad for me. I would recommend this place to anyone and will 100% return if I ever need repairs in the future! read more

Great service - excellent work - convenient location I've been to World Auto Body twice, and both times I've received amazing service. The first visit was for a car detail. I had bought a used car that had been sitting outside for six months with a leaking sunroof. The interior was sopping wet, a little moldy, and despite my best efforts, I just couldn't get out all the pine needles. It was disgusting. In under a day, my car was gorgeous. They cleaned absolutely everything, and they even threw in a free hand wash for the exterior. So clean and shiny! The second visit was for body work, thanks to the donkey who sideswiped my parked car. Pasquale was ridiculously nice, walked me through the entire process, showed me around the shop, explained what would be involved if I wanted a couple other dents taken out, and was willing to work within my budget. He even sent me photos of my car as it was being repaired, so I could see what was being done. The website where the photos were posted also explained the process in detail, along with time estimates, so there were no surprises. read more

Just picked up my car from them this afternoon. My 2012 BMW 5 series was hit by a crazy driver right before the holidays. I looked up top body shops in Boston and decided to come to World Auto Body but of course they were super booked. Even though I had to wait 10 days (because of the holidays) for the next appointment I decided that it will be well worth the wait since this place had the best reviews I've seen out of any other auto body shops in Boston. Well I'm glad I came here because they were super professional, super nice and my car looks perfect. The staff were very communicative and every time I called I was able to talk to someone who knew exactly what the status of my car is (and trust me, I called them a lot because my car is very dear to my heart); they also handled everything with my insurance so it was zero hassle to me. On top of everything they detailed my car too so now it looks even better than before. I will definitely be coming back for anything car related in the future. My auto was subjected to a significant stain running down the vehicles hood. I tried to remove the stain using standard retail cleaners. Nothing worked. I needed professional help. I brought the vehicle to World Auto Body Inc. They responded immediately. They quickly analyzed and assessed the material staining the vehicle. Two options were provided to remove the  staining. The first was with proper tooling and their compounds it hopefully would do the job. Second was sand and repaint of which I did not want to hear. Fortunately option one worked brilliantly. They worked for approximately 30 minutes to complete the task. The contamination was completely gone and the vehicle showed a like new luster. The whole experience from communication to immediate actions was pleasantly surprising but most stunning was "no payment was necessary". I was blown away. Robert, Manny and two office administrators provided the services. Never before have I experienced the services they provided. I highly recommend World Auto Body as the first choice for people needing their services. read more

World Auto Body is unbelievable! I brought my car in for some body work, and this was a non-insurance claim. Pasquale was able to give me a fantastic price, and I never imagined that the car would look so good. All of the damage was fixed, and not only that, they fixed some minor damage to the front bumper (which I had not even mentioned to them) as well as a rust spot. They did not charge me an extra cent for these other repairs. Pasquale was able to negotiate an excellent price for the rental car (I was paying out of pocket), and the rental car was dropped off and picked up at World Auto Body, so it was completely hassle-free. During the entire repair process, they sent me photos of the progress, so that I could see exactly what was being done. When the repairs were complete, they did a complete detailing of the car, including a complete shampoo of the interior. The car looked brand new even though it was 8 years old.
