Signed up based on wrong information. I will admit that the agent and manager handled it great, and offered a cancelation and refund when the policy on that is that they do not offer cancellations or refunds, so I decided to keep the membership. Then I never got either of the 2 offers that I was promised. I reached out multiple times, with either no response or a promise it would be sent and it never was. I never used the "benefits" because honestly, on everywhere I was going, I could book directly cheaper. After paying my $2000 fee I inquired about my 'anywhere' trip and was told the package I purchased did not include the 'anywhere' trip. Very dissatisfied. Signed up 5 years ago paying more than $5,000. Now they are saying it is a ten year contract and we owe $199 per year. They told us they would end a time share agreement, but did nothing. We sent all the required paperwork and when they did not respond we were unable to contact them. After contacting the BBB and many attempts to find a working phone number I got the paperwork back with a nasty letter. Our contract does not say 10 years. Length of contract does say 10, but not days,weeks, months or years. Got a call from them today saying we owe the annual fee before the end of this month, 3 days from now. Had paid a five year renewal and had not heard from them for 5 years. Only used this company for airfare for one trip There sight showed round trip fares with terrible layovers and flight times. I called two days after signing up to cancel because I found cheaper rates then theirs elsewhere for FREE. Only to be told my deposit would be forfeited. I stumbled on this place at the aloha stadium while i was shopping. My bf and I really wanted their discount rate for jet skiing and parasailing because it was at a great rate. The guy at aloha stadium said it would be less than 1 hour and all we had to do was watch a commercial. I knew it was to good to be true and IT REALLY WAS. Totally not a commercial and way over 1 hour. We had a really nice older Asian guy so we both felt bad saying no but we were never planning on saying yes. But every time we said no someone else came and tried to make the deal better. They are really really good at what they do. They're funny and personable. We came in knowing we wouldn't buy and they were so good they almost got me! We got the package price way down and a bunch of freebies but at the end said no. I'm so glad we did. 1) The guy who talked us into coming here said we'd be out in 75 minutes max - just say no and get up. That didn't work. 2) When you say no, they just bring another sales guy over to work you. 3) When they finally"allowed" us to say no almost 2 hours later, they ushered us to the gifting room where we waited another 15 minutes to get our discounted tickets. 4) While waiting, we looked up reviews. Check out the BBB site - LOTS of complaints that seem valid. 5) I worked for almost 20 years in the travel industry. This may work for cruises, condos and timeshares (they resell them for owners who can't use them) but I honestly don't see the value for hotels, resorts, or airfare. Bottom line, if you like condos, you may save money. If you don't mind being limited on your dining options, you may save money. If you want discounts on attractions, this may save a little more than AAA. Otherwise, just say no. BUT, if you're going to say yes - ask for Dwayne when you go in bc he's just an awesome, honest family guy. The package we were offered was 5 year membership for $3500 with $199 down. Total scam! The representative who helped us name is Rich. After watching the presentation I was impressed, but not by the service that was presented but the enthusiasm that was shown while speaking. There's always pros and cons to everything and we have yet to do further research. My fiancé bought into the idea and so we being naive fell for Rich's charm and which he upgraded our activity which was the Ka Moana Luau located in Sea Life Park Hawaii. We had no idea that once we canceled our membership and which we decided to on the second day that we would have to pay the VIP balance. Rich did not inform us of such thing. Furthermore, once my fiancé emailed the company to cancel the membership Rich started texting my fiancé in such rude manner that was not professional at all. By not informing us and allowing us to choose whether we would like to upgrade our service or not made it such a hassle for us especially while on vacation in Waikiki, Hawaii. The mistake we made was not fully reading the contract and putting our trust in a man who pretended to be genuine. By the way, my fiancé has records of the text messages between Rich and herself. His messages were aggressive and unprofessional. He lied and tricked us! Stay away from this company folks! The presentation was not very realistic regarding prices. I actually sat with my sales rep. and compared prices from their website to my usual websites Airbnb, Orbitz, and Expedia. Not to my surprise, all the free websites were cheaper. Our sales representative was very friendly and we felt no pressure. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast as promised, but we did recieve our attractions as promised. We paid a $50 dollar downpayment and paid the remaining balance prior to leaving. Personally, I dont see the benefit of gaining debt to travel. I had a similar experience in Las Vegas at Wyndham, THANKFULLY I CANCELED THE PLAN DAY 1. I am indifferent about this company at this current moment. My interactions with Tony, Pearl, and John were nothing short of inviting and amazing. Following the presentation they covered our parking and we went on an upgraded dinner cruise "Star of Honolulu", which we LOVED!! and that day I felt like I truly invested in something worth having. Recently I took my first attempt to use my new investment. I was trying to book a rental for pickup at BWI. My phone screen switch to another screen so I had to reopen the page. Due to my own mistake I didn't reread the information I had already entered, because all the blocks were stilled filled out so I just pressed BOOK RESERVATION. Immediately the confirmation came and said pick up at HNL not BWI. Being that it was booked 3rd party the Thrifty car rental couldn't help me. So I called World Discovered Pacific and the first lady I spoke with saw super sweet and helpful but notified me there was no way to transfer the reservation like I could have if I just booked directly through Thrifty. So I was traveling on Military order "most of my money spent because of my move, and the Almost $90 I put towards my rental was basically just given away. Following that I tried to get a one day rental from budget but they couldn't help me because I didn't have a credit card or a retuning flight. They told me the money that I used to book the reservation through my 3rd party would not be charged because they don't take our money until we pick up our rental. However, since I booked through a 3rd party guess who didn't get her money back.... yeah... this girl. After many attempts to call and "miraculously " dropped calls I just gave up. So I was at the airport from 9:22 am until 3:40 pm stuck because I couldn't afford another rental. My first day back in the main land was terrible!! Had I just booked directly like I usually do I would have never had this problem! Near September 2021, I attended the online webinar. Once the webinar finished, I was immediately transferred to speak with a female salesperson. Essentially, she offered me two trips, "You get one vacation to any country in Europe, flights, and hotel stays paid for 4 people (WDP European Vacation). Also, a Hawaii trip for 6 people, flights, and, hotel stays paid ( Hawaii Ultimate Adventure Package). All you have to do is purchase the membership today for $4,540, and you will receive these gifts." I absolutely purchased it. Mind you I verbally asked the saleswoman several times in front of my fiancee to confirm everything, and she did. They took a loan out from Monterey Financial Services. Now including annual renewal fees, which total approximately $5,000. Guess what? Several months later, I attempted booking the trips. I spoke with the customer service manager, Kate. I tell her I'm ready to book my trips. We would like to redeem the Hawaii Ultimate Package, at the time of the initial sales phone call, voice recording, female salesperson said, "The Hawaii package consisted of 6 person travel to HAWAII (flights, hotels, and activity certificate included), in which enrolled and paid 4540.36." I responded in this manner because I recently saw the BBB ratings online. I did not want to lose my money. Kate responded, "Your gifts include the Europe week (accommodations) and the Hawaii Ultimate Adventure package. The Hawaii Ultimate Adventure package is $1,000 in credit for activity in Oahu and Maui (this is credit for activities only). I would respectfully advise that it is more likely what your sales person was explaining was what your membership entails, not just one of the gifts themselves." I told her, "Appreciate all the information, but no on the day of the purchase, the salesperson lied to me and said, 'Unlimited Hawaii Package includes a 6 person trip in Honolulu, 2 condos, and flights included.' I knew this was sketchy. Especially, when I realized it's a certificate all of sudden. You guys record phone conversations for quality assurance, and accuracy purposes. That being said, go listen to what your salesperson said to me that day to get a commission, it's cool though. I saw your BBB ratings online. I guess everyone is onto something, correct?" Basically, I was completely bamboozled for the b.s. Hawaii trip. Next i'm thinking at least I know for sure I'm getting a Europe vacation because I paid on 09/2021, $4,540.36. Guess What? Kate say's the only thing included with this is the stays (studios, apartments, etc..). She then proceeds to send $60 a night stays for a total of 7 days, which would equal 420 with fess, maybe 445. No flights included. Ok, and a b.s. Hawaii certificate, which is useless because I was expecting a paid full family trip, as promised by the salesperson. So if you do the math i'm all in at $4,540.36 + 2 year worth of annual fees ($200) = $4,940.36 So $4,940.36 - ($445 Greece Studio) - ($1,000 Hawaii Activity Voucher)= 3,495.36 What happens to the $3,495.36 straight to their pocket as profit for doing absolutely nothing. It's a sales scheme. Think about it, if they can do this to 100 people a week after each webinar. That's more than 30K profit for lying to people. If we get together, this company will have to pay everyone for damages. The WDP'S owners should be held personally liable for allowing these manipulative tactics. It's common sense with $4,940.36 in my own hands, I could book a full Euro trip for my family, flights paid, hotel paid, private pool, hot tub, and breakfast buffet included. I'm extremely pissed. I want my Europe Vacation trip as promised, and I demand they listen back to the phone interaction between me and the female salesperson. Another thing is such a large company, and there's one customer service manager (Kate). Her line is completely cut off. She will not answer the phone. You will not be able to speak to her.
