World Fitness Studio is a gem of a place and there are many wonderful things to say! I had been wanting to try Zumba and what initially intrigued me about WFS was that I had read that Jordana Bross Bell, the owner and director was a professional ballerina. Having a lifetime love for dance and the arts, I knew I had to check it out. I figured she must be great at teaching Zumba due her her dance background. Well I was right as Jordana is creative and gifted. A wonderful instructor! From the moment I stepped through the WFS doors, my life has been forever changed in the most positive ways. The ambiance is spacious and immaculate. It's stunningly decorated--elegant yet with a beautiful homey feel. Even has very comfy seating when you need to take a repose. The dance floor is HUGE so no matter how many people are there, I never feel crowded. Everyone is kind and the comraderie among us feels like family. The music is upbeat and fun and the lighting is fabulous. It really feels like you're at a party--dancing the night away with your besties! But make no mistake, this is a serious workout. and you will reap many rewards from it. The Zumba classes are out of this world! YES they are THAT good! WFS also offers a wide variety of other classes such as Kickboxing, Yoga, Zumba Toning and a wonderful little class called ZIC--Zumba in Circuit. Th rates are very reasonable and in today's economy that's a real treat. All the instructors are marvelous and add their own unique passion, Zumba flair and flavor. I love them all! But the most important thing to me is how truly inspirational, kind and generous of spirit Jordana and her mother Cathe Bross are to all of us. They are the real deal; truly lovely people, inside and out and have created a dynamic community. They go out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcome and supported. If you have special needs or concerns regarding your health, they will address them and help you to be comfortable in your workout. No pressure or stress. No competion. You don't have to be in perfect shape at all to begin either. Just go at your own pace. ALL are welcome! I find myself encouraging everyone I come across, friends and strangers alike to visit WFS. If you are looking to not only improve your health but your overall well being World Fitness Studio is the place to go. I've had gym memberships before and the end result is I get bored and feel uncomfortable in the gym atmosphere with all those machines that I can't figure out how to use properly, don't have the money to spend on a personal trainer who can teach me how to use it or I have to wait to use it because someone else is using it. I first started Zumba with Jordana (Director of the Studio) a year ago this April. By the end of the first class I knew this was something that I was going to stick with. The slogan 'Ditch the workout and join the party' was just that until I went to my first zumba class at the World Fitness Studio! I was instantly hooked. The studio is beautiful and the 3,500 sq ft dance floor is the biggest I've seen anywhere. The atmosphere is also something I've not experienced anywhere else, it's warm, inviting and fun. World Fitness Studio is the ultimate place for Zumba!!! I've been a member for 5 months now and I'm so thankful for the change it has brought not only to my body, but to my life. I started Zumba at World Fitness Studio 6 months ago, and I honestly don't know how I lived my life before it! From the minute we walked in they welcomed us with open arms. The studio and dance floor is beautiful and you can feel the positive energy as you walk through the door! Jordana (owner & director) introduced herself and talked to us about just having a good time, there is no right or wrong way in Zumba. And when the lights went down, she was right! With a 3500 square foot dance floor, you have plenty of room to move and it also means no signing up for a class (even for 5:30 p.m. on a Monday!!!). I've been taking Zumba for a year and half now and have tried various classes and different instructors and I have found that World Fitness Studio has BY FAR, the best atmosphere and Zumba instructors. Jordana, the owner/master instructor, is a Zumba god. Her instruction and enthusiasm is extraordinary. If your interested in Zumba, I highly recommend taking it at World Fitness. Zumba at the gym is overcrowded and you need to wake up at 5am to sign up for a class. And dance studios can be overcrowded and overpriced.
