Took just one year to learn some amazing acro tricks and so enjoyable. They have the best recital ever, High quality, professional and decades of experience. While isolated during Covid they did double duty to make sure our kids still had some sort of programming. Doors are now open and the level of cleaning that they do to ensure our safety gives me zero worries! Try them out ASAP and it's worth it! My six year old also does acro so he can be a super ninja and uses these skills to rock in his martial art classes. My daughter loves competition and the friendly group with amazing talent and prove themselves!

This past weekend I was invited to their annual recital and it was amazing to see so much talent from the 2 year olds to the graduating seniors! RNS offers a variety of dance classes to fit any dancer. They even offer adult classes! If you're looking to take your training to the next level, I'd recommend joining RNS! I love the studio; it is bright and spacious. Not underground or in a basement somewhere like some studios are.There is a regular group that comes to these classes and even though they all know each other, they are warm and inclusive of new people. The only thing holding me back from giving RNS Barre class five stars is that weights aren't used and I don't feel I get much of an upper arm workout. There were other beginners in a class of about 10 so that immediately made it less intimidating. Classes are $20 each and they have an unlimited option for between $100 & $115 per month. The salsa taught here is not ballroom, it's for salsa club dancing and it's taught on 2, as opposed to 1 for those who are familiar with dance terminology. There are beginner classes on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7 and 12 pm on Saturdays. I am told that one night they even go to a salsa club to test out moves. Overall it was a very warm and inviting experience. After teaching you the steps on your own they even conduct part of the class paired up which makes things interesting. If you're looking to learn how to dance salsa for fun or a different way to get some exercise and are in or close to the New Haven area, I would highly recommend checking out Rumberos.

The instructors are a lot of fun; they creatively teach the subtle technicalities that make a big difference. I've witnessed beginners transform to great salsa dancers from coming here. After classes, the best way to improve is to get out on the dance floor! The salsa scene in New Haven is great with a diverse crowd, not to mention friendly and smiling faces. They make the classes a lot of fun. I think Brennan-Lucey is excellent for any age but especially for the little ones. They also do performances through out the year that are voluntary and great for gaining experience on a stage and in front of an audience.

Totally late on this five star review but a recent visit back to New Haven reminded me of how much…read moreI enjoy Polefly, Jess, and everything she brings to this space. Polefly is essentially where I fell in love with the art of pole and Jess has set a standard for instruction that I've looked for in every studio I've attended since. She is highly technical and understands the mechanics of the body in a way that makes you feel really safe while you practice here. Poling can be scary but I never felt worried about injury at Polefly because Jess is very thoughtful and careful, she plans the lessons around you and your body, meeting you where you're at while still challenging you to try your best and push yourself a little more each time. Despite all of her extensive experience and technical prowess, Jess never makes you feel less than. So much of poling is as much mental as it is physical, and this space always feels and felt safe, supportive, and affirming. I grew so much here and I am so sad there are so many miles between me and this lovely space these days and always look forward to my next visit back. Thank you, Jess, for everything you do to make this space wonderful. Also: get here early, people. Sometimes the walk up the stairs is long.

We took a private pole dancing class at Polefly with Jess as part of a bachelorette party weekend…read more Everything was great--from the booking process to cost ($20/person for an hour class) to the class itself. Our group is very uncoordinated but we still had a really great time learning some moves and getting some exercise. The studio is clean and kept up well and Jess is a great and encouraging instructor and doesn't make you feel like an idiot (even if you know you're looking like one!). I can't speak to the normal classes here but would highly recommend booking a private event for a special birthday surprise or bachelorette weekend!
