This store is so unique! I love browsing around and I always end up finding something cool. The employees are always super nice and helpful as well. This trip I bought a few bottles of wine and the kids picked out some candy. They were also having a scavenger hunt event when we were there. I've been one other time when they were doing a scavenger hunt but I actually found one this time! I got a $20 gift card to use during my visit. World Market I have found is the best place to find stocking stuffers or unique holidays gifts for friends and family. But let's talk about their furniture. Wow! You can find shelving, desks, rugs, lamps, curtains, pillows and more! These are typically what you would find at another home furnishings store. For example, my wife and I have been looking for a laptop table that fits perfectly under our furniture. We had been looking for almost a year not liking anything. My co-worker told me they had Columbus store and we made the trip up two days later! We found our perfect oversized laptop table and it completely fits our home. World Market always delivers when it comes to me finding that one specific item for my home "know it when I see it" and they get me every time! Did I mention they have a booze section?! Beer and wine of all different kinds. Great if you need to stop by and grab some before you go to that party tonight! They have parking right out front. I used to come here all the time since it was close to home, and it was the first World Market I'd ever seen so it seemed pretty unique at the time. I've been to others now, and still like the concept, and occasionally stop in to one to see what's new- and get some candy. This time I did a little Xmas shopping, and got some assorted snacks. They have a good variety of snacks, dry goods, wine, beer, etc. Kinda disorganized- most of the food is in the back, but you have to wander a dozen shelves to find all the snacks, for example, and the beer, root beer, etc., is spread around a bit too. Prices are high, but then, where else are you going to find some of this stuff? Splurge a little, and try something new. Service was good. The place is clean. Parking is easy. Come in and browse, be surprised, spend a little too much. read more

I often dub World Market, "Pier 1 imports for the Common People" if the former had a food component. This observation is made somewhat tongue-in-cheek of course, but to me the general premise is still valid. The marketing shtick of World Market is the idea that what they have is all imported - and in truth it is - and put on display for you to peruse and purchase. Chairs, tables, beds, couches and more can be bought alongside bottles of wine, fine liquors (to an extent, laws permitting), beer and bags of coffee from all corners of the globe. There's breads and mixtures and a bit of magic hidden in various corners. It's all very carefully manicured, of course. There's a degree of overt "travel shopping" for this place. You basically come here for two reasons: they carry a brand of tea from England you especially like, or you enjoy buying items for home decoration that have a unique pedigree of creation. I've done both. Oh, and as a side-notion: This is the absolute best place to find some unique birthday presents and other celebratory notions as gifts. The saving grace of the place, to me, is it's seasonality. Despite the boutique air of the experience, they take their idea as an import house of various curiosities for every day life very seriously. Whoever manages their inventory and buying should be commended - a return visit to World Market inevitably nets something new depending on the seasonality of the visit. That's why I keep coming back. One last thing: I highly recommend you join their "Explorers Club," which is essentially a loyalty program of sorts. The offers you get, and the savings earned through occasional emailed coupons, makes the place eminently more affordable. read more

This is a quiet location which seems well-stocked with the usual items carried by world market. I came in looking for wineglasses. There were several styles and one even came in plastic for porch drinking safety. The prices varied from $1.99 to $5.99. The greeting card selection was impressive. I was able to find a card perfect for a 50th anniversary party without having it mention the anniversary year. read more

This was my first visit to a Cost Plus World Market. And I am impressed. This store of one of those stores where you can go to shop for hours. They seems to have a lot of different and qwuiky items. I found a lot of things that I didn't even know that I needed! I was enthralled with their stacking baskets. And I bought myself a 3 tiered small storage shelf to help keep my organized. I could spend hours in here, so much fun stuff to look at in every isle. World Market has home decor, kitchen essentials, rugs, some furniture, a great international food selection, craft beer, wine, and even accessories like scarfs and jewelry. I often come in here for things that I can't find in the grocery store, like hawaiian sea salt, Italian cookies, asian spice mixes and other fun finds. They also have many different Whole Foods brand coffee varieties and some Hawaiian coffee that I love. This is a great place to come grab some picnic items or even a nice gift for friend. Sign up for the email and you'll get coupons and discounts which are nice. If you've never been then you've got to come explore this store. And if your husband/boyfriend is with you they can go explore Golf World (whatever it's called) is next door to keep them busy. read more

I frequent World Market usually when I'm bored, or am in the mood for international candies and drink. This world market location is ok. It's a bit cramped, and I feel like there's always boxes, or inventory sitting around that needs to be put up either in stock, or back in the back. World Market is a wonderful place to go if you are looking for a simple and unique gift. Most of the items they carry are just your run of the mill touristy knick knacks your Nana probably bought for you on her trip overseas, or on her cruise. The decor items are nice. I enjoy some of their prints on the curtains, pillows, and sheets. Their furniture is too cheap to pay what they are asking for it. Some of the pieces I saw were comparable to Sauder and compressed cardboard. Now some of the dining room tables can be argued as real wood. World Market has just about everything to turn your home into your own personal Copacabana. I am going to applaud World Market on their international chocolates and candies. I know, I know, many of you are rolling your eyes going, "Well, you can just go to the korean, chinese, or european market and get what you want." Yes true, but this place has some of the best sellers, and they're all there. I love the fact they have more than just two or three Cadbury products, and their Japanese section isn't too shabby either. You can also find about every type and flavor of Ritter here as well. They also have marzipan, cheese samples, mini summer sausages, sampler bottles of wines, gummies, dried fruits, and chocolate, chocolate, CHOCOLATE! One other thing I will give world market kudos on is their wines, beers, and ales section. I'm not sure if they do it anymore, but World Market used to be extremely helpful when shopping their wine selections. They use to have tiny cards that included the price and a good description at what foods the wine would work well with, so you don't go home expecting a dessert wine to be full filling with your grilled salmon. So yeah, World Market is a fun place to shop around and waste time, but that's the gist of it. read more

Stopped in this World Market off of Tuttle Crossing Blvd a few weeks back and it was an ok experience. The cashier greeted me with a hello, but found many employees walking by without saying a simple hello. (I dont expect everyone to stop, but it doesnt take much effort to greet a customer in the store!) I walked around the store to look at what they had and found a few things that I wanted. Their prices on selected items seem to be reasonable, compared to their competitor. The store seemed to be a little on the dark side, meaning low lighting in the store. Ok world market is one of those places I always think has the coolest stuff that inspires me to want to be an interior designer. There are only two problems: 1. I get overwhelmed. From the food and treats to the gift wrapping section there is so much to buy it makes my head spin! And I would like everything which leads me to the second problem. 2. $: I just do not have enough of it to be a constant shopper here! I mean this place could run me dry! But to combat both these problems I have joined the world market club they gave me $10 gift certificate for my birthday and they send me coupons like every other day! Love this place! Had one in South Florida but it closed years ago. Whenever I travel to Dublin, I make it a point to visit them.

Yet another place I wish were in New England, World Market always merits a visit when I return to The Heart of It All. It's a great place to get interesting jewelry; I always get comments on my bracelet made of Mah Jongg tiles that I picked up at World Market. I also like to get wrapping paper and gift bags there--the cutest! The food and drink selection, however, is the best reason to visit World Market. The international foods the store carries include all kinds of candies and cookies, snack foods, pastas and soups, and mixes and spices. The varieties of coffees and teas can't be beat; I like to bring bags of coffee back to New Hampshire with me. I'm not wine drinker, but the prices and selection are fantastic, and the store carries a lot of craft beers that we just can't get in New England. read more

While World Market isn't a store that I would go to every week for any necessary shopping, it's one of my favorite stores to go to occasionally for a chance of pace. There are a number of reasons why it's become a fun place to spend some time! My favorite section of World Market is the international candy/sweets section without a doubt. It's so much fun to go stroll the aisles, browse the impressive selection, and pick a new treat to try out. Kinder, Cadbury, Lindt, and many many more selections are available. The prices are reasonable, and there's truly something for everyone! A personal favorite is the Kinder Happy Hippos :) After that, my next stop is always the beer and wine section. While it may be a little bit pricier than your average grocery store, World Market is a great place to find new and interesting drinks to sample. By building your own six pack, you can find new standards for your drink menu! My only complaint about this World Market is that it tends to be a bit cluttered. There are many boxes and crates scattered throughout the store, and it can be hard to pick a path across the store to get back to the registers. But its a small price to pay for a fun, unique shopping experience. read more

Not a very big store but they have a lot of stuff all cultures Japanese is one I'm fond of they have candy and spices wines wish they had samples. Maybe that's another day they weren't totally busy this day but had a few ppl in the store plenty of things to look at if u get a chance drop in and look at the many cultures that are there to buy and try. read more

It's only 7% alcohol,just like strong beer. You can get the same vine at Kroger for $5.99 and its 11.5-12.5%,not deleted. Trip was waiste of time. read more

I love the German chocolate candy/cake products, as it reminds me of the stuff my German relatives used to bring back home when I was a kid. It helps being a rewards member as I usually save 10-15% off each time. Good customer service and easy to find what you need. I bought an item at World Market, I got home & it was broken in the package, when I went to exchange it for the exact same item-they charged me the difference because my first transaction used a coupon. I had to pay the difference to exchange it for the exact same (non-broken) item. I emailed World Market & they said "Returns will be credited as purchase price less the discount, and you will forfeit the discount." They didn't seem to mind/care that what i purchased was broken and to just exchange it out. -Sadly, I wont be able to shop there anymore. What terrible business practice. read more
